This cosy apartment features a light-filled living area—divided into a TV nook with a sofa and a wood-burning stove, a dining area by the window, and a kitchenette. From the living area, you can step out onto the northeast-facing terrace—you can almost smell the Baltic Sea. The large bedroom is equipped with a box-spring bed, a wardrobe, and its own TV. The second bedroom (children’s room) features a single bed and a fold-out bed; this is where the apartment’s third TV is located. The bathroom is perfect for wellness enthusiasts: in addition to the shower, it features a sauna and a large spa tub.
The “Meeresrauschen” house is in an ideal holiday location, just under 150 metres from the beach! And in general, the house is a great starting point for everything you might want to do on holiday:
Restaurants, two playgrounds, a skate park, and kiosks are all nearby. A bakery, a bike rental shop, and—for the more athletic guests—a gym are also within a 600-meter radius.
You can conveniently park your car in the car park of Apartment No. 2—and feel free to leave it there. The best way to get around here is on foot or by bike. Public buses run several times a day to Heiligenhafen or Fehmarn, giving you plenty of flexibility. In general, Großenbrode is a great starting point for all kinds of bike tours: you can reach Heiligenhafen in just over an hour—a bit faster on an e-bike—or enjoy the unique view from the Fehmarnsund Bridge and bike directly to Fehmarn. By car, it’s about 10 minutes to both Heiligenhafen and Burg on Fehmarn.

Nearby, you’ll find shopping, playgrounds, restaurants, and a variety of recreational activities. Großenbrode has its own train station. The island of Fehmarn is only about 4 km from Großenbrode, and the town of Heiligenhafen on the Warder Peninsula (about 10 km away) also invites you to visit. Here, in addition to the traditional fishing port, you’ll find one of Germany’s largest and most modern marinas, a pier over 500 metres long, and a kilometer-long swimming beach.
