One of the nicest top floor townhouses in the award winning Aspens at Kicking Horse Resort. This is a top row unit with no buildings above you. Ski to your door. Amazing views of the Columbia Valley from your private hot tub. All the things you'd expect from a great rental . . . premium bedding and linens, well appointed kitchen with all the tools to make a gourmet meal, heated kitchen and bathroom floors, fireplace, 42' LED with Telus optic and home-theater sound, fiber wifi, an outdoor grill, lockable ski-rack in heated garage and heated secure parking. The Telus optic system has Netflix and Prime access if you have an account plus Tune-In, youTube, and Stingray Music, or connect your iPad/Phone/etc. For those wanting to catch the news before sleeping, there's a second hi-def TV in the master bedroom with a separate set top box.

Winter offers you amazing skiing in knee-deep champagne powder or go for a cross-country kick on 33 km of groomed skate and classic trails. Take the kids skating or tubing at the village base, or just hang out by the fireplace and read that novel you've been trying to catch up on. During the Summer, challenge yourself to some of the best downhill and single track biking in Canada or hike pristine wilderness at the base or from the top of the Gondola. Go visit Boo the Grizzly at the on mountain bear refuge, do some fishing, or play one of the nicest mountain golf courses--the Golden Golf & Country Club just at the base of the mountain road. And, just for the fun of it, have lunch or dinner at the highest elevation restaurant in Canada, the Eagle Eye.

Gorgeous Mountain View in Peaceful Setting

Townhouse was absolutely beautiful and well appointed. We enjoyed the hot tub on the deck in the quiet evenings under the bright stars, and loved watching the hummingbirds at the feeders.

We could not be happier with our stay here. The condo is immaculately clean. The views from the hot tub are stunning. We either watched the sunset or sunrise from the hot tub each day as we soaked our muscles from hiking. The condo had everything needed for a comfortable home away from home. Holiday at Kicking Horse

We definitely enjoyed our stay. We’ve stayed at multiple Aspen condos over the years but Leo’s place was one of the best. It looked recently renovated and was very clean and well maintained. The location on the ski hill is excellent. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend to friends and family.

We are two career people, both in the IT industry, that would rather be outside than inside.

Why they chose this property

We are avid skiers, hikers and single track riders. We purchased our place in 2014 primarily as it was a bit away from the main gondola and village, but close enough to ski down to or bike down to in a few minutes. This is an amazing resort. In winter you can spend one day hiking to T1 and T2 to ski untracked, the next skiing incredible lift serviced runs, chutes and glades, and then the next skiing nordic trails at Dawn Mountain, just a 3 minute drive from the townhouse. During the summer we love the riding here. It can be as challenging as you want to make it from easy single track rides in the Cedar Lake area to long hard climbs from the base of CBT or over on Mount 7. Grab your body armor and spend a day shooting down berms and riding skinny's off the gondi. Not into biking? The hiking around here is beautiful whether just walking the top of the ridges from the gondi, or heading into Roger's Pass or Yoho. Want an easy recovery day? Play a round of golf at the Golden course at the bottom of the resort road. It's consistently great golf. There aren't a lot of places where you can do so much all in one resort. Plus, go to town, it's got everything you could need, good places to eat, and the people are really nice. We hope you fall in love with this mountain the way we have.

What makes this property unique

This unit in the Aspens is on the top row of the development. We paid a bit more for the true ski in, ski out location, the sun on the deck during the day and the quietness of being tucked up next to the trees. From the hot tub there is a million dollar view looking across at mountain peaks and into the Columbia Valley. At night the forest right behind us smells amazing.
