Accommodation Description: Modern ground-floor apartment with 3 rooms, completed in 2017, featuring a terrace, private garden, panoramic views, and a welcoming atmosphere. Alpenresidenz Bad Kohlgrub, a former hotel, was extensively renovated in 2017 and transformed with great attention to detail into a residence with 24 privately owned apartments. Our apartment is on the ground floor and offers a terrace and its own garden area. It is spacious, very bright, and furnished to a high standard. In addition to a small library focused on mountains and travel, there is also a piano available.



The charming town of Bad Kohlgrub is beautifully situated between the Blue Land and the Ammergau Alps, making it an ideal base for hiking, climbing, swimming, skiing, and cycling. The local mountain, Hörnle, is just 800 m from our apartment and offers breathtaking views of the Wetterstein mountains to the south and Lake Staffelsee to the northeast. Oberammergau, Ettal Abbey, and Lake Staffelsee are all excellent destinations for cycling or hiking tours and can be reached by car in 15 to 20 minutes.
