About this property

Perfect Location! Steps from the River - Between Downtown Bend and the Old Mill!

We are excited to welcome you to our 100+ year old Bend Old Town home! There are 2 bedrooms - both with top of the line, comfortable queen beds, a queen temperpedic fold out mattress in the living room (yes a comfortable fold out bed!) and 1 bath with a new large tub.
The living room is comfortable to stretch out and watch the large HDTV and Blue Ray player.
We have AC for our summer time guests too!
Enjoy the yard for your visit. We do allow friendly dogs and have a fenced yard!
Sip coffee on the front porch while the kids or dog play or enjoy outdoor time on the patio with a BBQ.

Bedroom 1 has a plush queen bed and an HDTV / DVD set up and Bedroom 2 has an equally comfortable queen bed as well. This home sleeps 6 comfortably.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all you would need! The kitchen, dining area and living room are all open concept for you. There is also a full laundry room and mud room as well.
Our goal is to make this a comfortable getaway for you, your kids, pets and other guests!

Great location

Great location - we parked and walked everywhere for the weekend! The house is small but really well equipped. The fenced in yard is lovely and would be great in the summer. The proximity to walking trails and parks was perfect!

Bend River cottage

The location of this property was amazing , so close to all that Bend has to offer. Everything was walkable from the property and our 2 dogs loved the river which was very close. The only thing missing was some oven mitts and dishcloths otherwise the kitchen was very well stocked. Would definitely stay here again.

Hi! We are Ian and Kristy Haworth and we welcome you to our beautiful Bend cottage!
Moving here from sunny Southern California as young adults 30+ years ago, where we both grew up, we are not strangers to resort living lifestyles. Raising our now young adults kids in the area, we know and love Bend! We love to work hard and play hard! What a perfect spot to paddle board on the river, ski at Mt. Bachelor in the winter and everything in between.
We are not always in Bend as much as we would like to be but have plenty of family and hands on help if something arises. Please reach out to us as we are always available.

Why they chose this property

This 1920's home was built at the time of the lumber mill on the river just south of the house. Many homes around us are actually old train cars put together by the mill workers to live in. Ian's parents live on the river right down the street and theirs is this type. Incredible history lie within these streets. Truly where the center of town began! We have had the privilege of owning this home since 1996 and is where we lived when we first got married. Sweet memories live in this home! And now, it is waiting for you to enjoy and build your memories!

What makes this property unique

There is no place like this area to live and to vacation! Most people don't use their vehicles to get around. Even in the winter it is fun to bundle up and walk to breakfast around the corner or to take the path to the Old Mill for a movie or concert. Everyone is friendly in the neighborhood. A smile and wave everywhere you go!
