Restored 4 Bedrm Lakefront Summer cottage on Lake Sunapee Blodgett Landing
Historical 4 bedroom cottage in a small community known as Blodgett Landing on Lake Sunapee, minutes from Mount Sunapee. We offer a wonderful view of the lake from our spacious front porch lined with seating where you can view Mount Sunapee and some of the most beautiful sunsets! A perfect spot in the cove to enjoy kayaking, canoeing and fishing. We've also got a good sized front lawn great for kick-ball, croquet, badminton, etc. Upstairs there's 3 bedrooms; 1 bedroom with full sized bed, 1 bedroom with queen sized bed, 1 bedroom with queen bed & bunk beds and a full bath. The main floor has one bedroom with a queen sized bed, living room with 2 couches and an easy chair complete with TV. We offer a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, dishwasher, breakfast bar and a high top table and a sitting area with a couch. Also on the main floor is a 1/2 bath and a utility room with a washing/dryer and a 2nd refrigerator. There is a gas grill outside on the patio. The grill is only for summer use. Parking area for 4 cars. We do not own or have access to the lake in front of our property A public dock is a very short walk where the sandy area is a great spot for swimming. There are steps leading down into the swimming area; perfect for small children. You'll also find a public beach even closer where the water is shallow and sandy; a nice quiet area to sit and relax by the water. A public boat launch is available very close by. Lake Sunapee is one of the most beautiful lakes in New Hampshire and is sparking clean. The town of New London is a 4 mile drive where you'll find a large grocery store, hardware store pharmacy, hospital and many small koi shops and restaurants. Mount Sunapee is a 10-15 minute drive where there's great skiing, hiking trails, and an Adventure Park with Ziplines, mini golf, disc golf, a climbing wall and an Aerial Challenge Course. A great place to relax and enjoy a vacation!

This cottage offers modern and updated amenities, including an updated kitchen. The view from the front porch looking out on the lake is spectacular. We get beautiful sunsets from the front yard.
What makes this property unique
This cottage was one of the originals on Blodgett Landing and was Mr. Blodgett's main cottage. It was known as "the red, white and blue" cottage. We've maintained the fine gingerbread details on the cottage and the color scheme.
