[There's only one Summer 2026 week currently available: Tuesday, June 9, through Tuesday, June 16]
Experience gracious Mid-Atlantic beach house living in a cottage filled with whitewashed beadboard, planked floors and broad, comfortable porches. This rustic, rambling, almost-century-old home (built c. 1928, it's the oldest structure in blocks) has everything you want: historic charm, modern amenities, and a prime location just steps away from the beach and South Rehoboth’s historic boardwalk.
The two-story Main House sleeps six with three bedrooms, one den, and one and a half baths. It features a broad screened-in front porch, an open floor plan, and a versatile kitchen suited for snacking or entertaining. The back deck provides alfresco dining space and an oversized hot tub perfect for relaxing with friends in shaded privacy. And the fenced-in back yard is a beautiful tree-canopied haven for an afternoon in a hammock, a game of croquet or a relaxing, outdoor shower under the open sky.
The converted Carriage House comfortably sleeps four to six with a living area that can sleep two with a kitchenette downstairs and one large bedroom, with a queen-size bed and a fold-out full-size futon, and one bathroom upstairs. Just steps away from the Main House back deck, it provides a secluded escape with private access off the fenced-in yard.
And you won’t find a better location in South Rehoboth. Silver Lake is 50 yards to the west, and the beach and boardwalk are 100 yards to the east, giving you easy access to the Atlantic Ocean and downtown Rehoboth’s myriad dining and entertainment options, just a 10 to 15 minute stroll away.
Both the Main House and the Carriage House are dog and cat friendly for friendly dogs and cats.
Experience Rehoboth Beach the way vacationing families and friends have done for generations. The house is available year-round for select weeks. Please note that in order to avoid weekend traffic, our house generally rents from midweek to mid week. During the 2026 season, that will be Tuesdays to Tuesdays. In the off-season, we offer renters some flexibility, however, with minimum four-night stays, so contact the owners should you care to reserve different move-in/move-out days.
We provide bed linens and towels. And we also provide a Level 2 charger in the driveway for guests with EVs.

Just a wonderful setup for people and pets - especially enjoyed the location a few steps from the boardwalk and beach. It's a lovely vintage home with two porches, fenced back yard, and delightful Carriage House. Gracious host. Well-cared for property.

We're so delighted, Helen, that you and your family enjoyed your visit. It truly is a magical place! We would love to have you back any time!
The house comfortable fit our entire family with children. Every amenity we wanted was there such as bikes, the hot tub, a fire pit. Was a wonderful stay
Great location!! We were close to everything we needed, and having the beach a few steps away was amazing! The house was very clean, and exactly as described. It was well equipped and comfortable for our family, with everything and anything you can think of available in the house! Neighbors were friendly and the street was quiet in early November! The host, David provided clear information and was available, although we didn’t need anything during our stay. We hope to return again, this location was perfect for our fall getaway.

Location, location, location! Loved the 2 minute walk to the beach and the access to the boardwalk which begins right at the end of the street! Perfectly pet friendly! Loved having the seperate carriage house where our adult daughter and her family stayed allowing everyone to have their own space. Great little fenced in back yard and a wonderful screened in porch! We throughly enjoyed our stay at this rental!

We had a wonderful time a this house. The house is bigger than we expected and better than the photos. It was very well stocked and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the location so close ot the beach and so many beach towels they had for us to use. The host was quick to answer questions ahead of the trip and check-in was super simple. It was a gorgeous street and great location.

We're so glad that you enjoyed the house and enjoyed your stay, Emily!
We had a fabulous vacation at this classic, Oceanside cottage on Prospect Street. We loved the property that is so well maintained, but also the contemporary interior on the inside. We are a multigenerational family and the house was perfect for all of us. We loved sitting on the screened in front porch in the mornings and sipping our coffee and just relaxing together. It was so close to get to the beach, and our little fur baby loved walking to Silver Lake. We would love to vacation there again next year!

Lovely Beach Getaway with Great Amenities and Pet-Friendly Yard
We had an amazing stay at this beach cottage! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and close to all the local attractions. The backyard was a fantastic space for our dogs to run around and play. Communication from the owners was great and they made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Certainly recommend as a relaxing beach getaway!

Thank you for your review. We're so glad that you enjoyed your stay. Since our house can accommodate many more than the two of you, it must have felt -- expansive! We hope you'll reserve for next year, and have a wonderful summer.
Proximity to the beach and Silver Lake were big advantages. Rehoboth beach is great for bicycling around, too. Location just at the end of the boardwalk meant it was somewhat quieter also.

Why they chose this property
This 90-plus-year-old gem has great bones--and you'll see them when you stay with us. Exposed ceilings, original wood floors and beadboard, and authentic fixtures when we can preserve them. We're always working on some home improvement to keep up the house, choosing one or two projects a year. As a true beach house, with pets and kids always welcome--and always coming in and out--you may notice some occasional dings and scratches. We consider them the "patina" of age that comes with any true "Grande Dame."
