Bill and family, I would be elated to have your family back again for another vacation in the future! The week you vacationed was hot and humid and I hope everyone found a way to stay cool outside on the beach, in your boat, on the bench seats under the shade of the wild cherry tree, and relaxing at the observation deck or crabbing off the boat dock and ramp. The private beach path, beach gear corral and Mobi-mat creates easy access to the water's edge as well as transporting items and storing them nightly. The area is flat and great for bicycling to the Broadkill Store. I was also able to watch a turtle lay her eggs on an overcast day in the back yard near the boat dock and crabbing area. Thank you for taking the time to respond and give us a five star review! We try to keep the house cleaner than other homes by paying attention to details inside and out. Thanks for noticing! The sunken living room (4 steps down) makes a great baby and (grandpa) corral while preparing meals. lol.

You just took the time together with good friends to a new level with this event! Thank you for noticing the open feeling of the living area of our home, with cathedral ceilings and sunken living room, we feel we have created a layout that allows a spacious setting and also provides areas of privacy when guests need their own quiet space. I was glad to hear you were able to take advantage of the 10’ x 20’ front deck with plenty of space and lounge chairs for everyone in your group to sunbathe as well as the relaxing walks on the seemingly private beach. Nirmala and Family, It makes me smile to know you were able to observe the beautiful sunsets over the Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge from the observation deck and boat dock with a cocktail in your hand. That is something I look forward to each evening I am there! Quiet walks in the early morning on the shoreline with a cup of coffee are also cherished at this exclusive experience! All of this is easily accessible with just steps to the beach and back yard to the tidal creek because we provide you with two properties that are included in your vacation rental agreement.
