Stone walls, exposed beams, antique furniture, flooring and chestnut paneling give the place an atmosphere of peace and serenity.

Great stay at Maison de l'ébéniste

The perfect weather no doubt helped, but this house was fabulous for our group of 6 adults and 5 children, with space to spare. Really well-maintained pool and a huge area of land to explore. Terrace amazing for meals.

Welcoming hosts and nice big house

We stayed with a big group attending a horse race locally. The hosts were very welcoming and the house was perfect for our big group. Sadly we didntt have enough time to enjoy the pool, views and outdoor table!

Great for a large group

Peaceful location but attractions conveniently close. Most reviews cover the spring/summer period but this was a great place for Christmas with friends who live in France. Regis and Marie Claire are very friendly, close if any help is needed but not intrusive. It made a memorable visit.

This was our second stay at Régis and Marie-Claire's beautiful Maison de l'Ébéniste. As before Régis and Marie-Claire were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Our stay was as fantastic as last time and the swimming pool was a big hit with us all given the wonderful weather. The accommodation was perfect and just right for our extended family group. There is so much to do in the area: great walks (short and long), beautiful towns and a local train station gives very easy access to Agen. Well worth a visit. It was a great holiday and another visit beckons!

Élégance et distinction, discrétion, bienveillance et exquise courtoisie. Danièle et Philippe...La remarquable combinaison de toutes ces qualités réunies. Deux êtres rares. Lovely house and helpful hosts

The house was lovely but we were expecting the house to be located in Villefranche du Perigord but it was actually 6km away, therefore no restaurant within walking distance. There was however a boulangerie which we walked to daily, and also a bar which we visited frequently. The weather could have been better to allow us to make full use of the lovely pool, but the house and facilities were perfect for our family. Marie-Claude and Regis were very helpful, and living next door proved helpful when we needed a tin opener (which the house didn’t have). I would recommend this property to friends and family.

Super WE du 1er mai en famille

WE surprise pour mes enfants et petits enfants (13 personnes) réservé à l’occasion de l’anniversaire de mon épouse. Cadre fabuleux, gîte vraiment très beau et adapté car préservant une grande intimité entre les couples. Des hôtes bien sympathiques qui privilégient d’abord le contact humain … Avant l’esprit commercial et ça c’est tellement bon. WE réussi, mille mercis à nos hôtes. Je recommande ce gîte magnifique, dans une région si belle, sans aucune hésitation

Super séjour en famille

9 adultes et 4 enfants. Ravis de notre séjour dans cette belle demeure périgourdine spacieuse, bien agencée, très bien entretenue, au calme, avec une vue panoramique magnifique depuis la grande terrasse. On a apprécié aussi l'immense espace extérieur fleuri avec la grande piscine, les balançoires. Les propriétaires sont charmants. Merci Marie-Claire et Régis pour le vin de noix et les girolles, pour les conseils de visite de votre belle région. Le classeur mis à disposition est super bien fait. On recommande vivement la Maison de l'Ebéniste

Perfect Holiday Home

The property was perfect for our holiday, well equipped and very comfortable, home from home. It was in a very peaceful and tranquil area and just perfectly central for sightseeing that area. Perfect house for multi-family groups

A truly ideal holiday home with charming, friendly and helpful owners. The accommodation is arranged so that four families can stay in separate parts of the house, which is very helpful when there are several small children staying. The pool and gardens are magical for children, with lots of space to explore and play, and a large pool to enjoy. There are several outdoor eating areas, both in the shade and outdoors which was particularly good in the very hot weather. The local area is full of interesting small towns and a great variety of walks of just a few kilometres to longer hikes. We were only there for a week and we were all very sorry to leave as there was still so much to do. Marie Claire and Regis could not have been more welcoming or friendly. It really was the perfect holiday home.

C'est la deuxième fois que nous revenions dans ce gîte. Nous y retournerons sans hésitation. Nous avons encore passé un agréable séjour. Le gîte est bien situé géographiquement, au calme, en pleine nature. Les propriétaires sont agréables et gentils. Merci à eux pour leur convivialité. Le gîte est grand, rustique, toujours aussi propre. La literie est correcte. La piscine est agréable à la bonne saison. Nous n'avons pas pu encore en profiter au maximum juste fait trempette car l'eau était encore un peu trop fraîche!!! Nous nous sentons comme chez nous dans ce gîte. Nous le recommanderions sans problème .

La Maison de l'ébéniste est un lieu idéal pour un séjour en pleine nature en groupe. La demeure est parfaitement rénovée et fonctionnelle. Les propriétaires sont charmants.
