What A View, What A View, What A View

If you are looking for a little piece of heaven, you have found it. A unique lake front home with "miles" and I do mean "miles" of unobstructed lake views. This very special lake lot is level, has deep water, spectacular yard, a firepit and it's own boat ramp. The home features 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, open kitchen, dining and living room all with endless views of Lake Norman. The massive covered back patio allows for a morning or afternoon nap or is the perfect gathering place for the family. This home is tucked in a quiet cove so you don't have the main channel traffic but yet you have the 'main channel view for as far as the eye can see. There are many activities (golf, tennis, shopping, restaurants, etc) within the immediate area but I think most folks just enjoy sitting on the patio and letting the stress of everyday life just melt away. If you experience a week on this serene lake retreat I know you will be back for more.

24 Ft tritoon pontoon boat available to rent for $450 per day.
Yamaha jet ski available to rent for $400 per day.

Note: I do require a 4 night minimum rental for the months of June, July and August.

Our extended family Thanksgiving was about 10 minutes away so this lake house provided the perfect place to call “home” for a couple of days. With 3 full baths and 4 bedrooms, everyone had their space. And the kitchen, dining area, and the family room are open and allow for lots of togetherness. The back porch (with plenty of seating) overlooking the lake is awesome!

The house was absolutely beautiful and just like the title, What a view it was beautiful and relaxing views. My only complaint was the beds in the room with the bunk beds, both bottom bunks had thin mattress like futons and was like laying on wire. One of the beds had a dip in the middle of the mattress. We had 6 women for a retreat so 2 of the women slept on the couch one night and the next night one went home. I contacted the host to let him know and he asked me what do I want him to do because I saw the pictures of the house. I replied to him that I was only letting him know and to have a blessed night. So I am writing this review to inform people of the beds in that bedroom because you can not tell by the photos. This is my only complaint because everything else was great.

Thank you for your review of home and nice comments about the view and cleanliness of the home. As far as the bunk beds, the bottom bed is a futon (which is typical for a bunk beds and will comfortably accommodate a person up to 250 pounds and in 15 years of renting the home I’ve had “zero” complaints about the bunk beds). Sorry you found them uncomfortable I will be adding an air mattress to address this issue in the future.

Our stay was exactly what we had hoped for and a little more! Danny was extremely proactive, hospitable, and great to communicate with. What a View provided us with an ideal location and layout to accommodate me and my adult children in comfort! We had a wonderful family time and especially enjoyed our boat rental, complete with skis, tubes, and floats. There was plenty of space to gather, inside and out, to enjoy each other’s company, the view, and the numerous wildlife that came to visit during our stay. Danny was very accommodating and gracious, with excellent communication throughout our booking and stay. One of our best VRBO rentals overall!

Why they chose this property

This home and lot are truly one of a kind. I looked for 8 years to find that "perfect" lake lot and once you experience a day or a week at Peyton's Place I think you will agree it is just that, "perfect".

What makes this property unique

The most obvious benefit of this home is the "MILES" of lake views that you have. You can sit on the patio or sit in the living room, kitchen or dining room and just enjoy the endless views of Lake Norman. In addition you will also get to see an abundance of wildlife, with our neighborhood deer, ducks, geese, and sea gulls. Late in the afternoon you may also get to see the local Ospery diving for his/her dinner, very entertaining.
