Our stay couldn’t have been more wonderful at this beautiful property. Our family is scattered to opposite ends of the country and this time together was filled with laughter, stories and marshmallows around the fire pit. The kitchen was filled with convenience (and spices) and the beds cozy despite no one having been in bunk beds in years. Communication with owners was swift and helpful. We talked of making our gathering here an annual event!

This property has every single thing you could possibly want for a carefree stay on Lake Pend oreille. Also has several furnishings you may not have thought of but you’ll appreciate that the host has. EVERYTHING has been considered! From sticks for roasting marshmallows over the fire in the fire pit to cozy foot warming socks to wear inside if you should be unlucky with the weather and spend your stay enjoying the lake views from inside. If you fortunate enough to enjoy a summer stay with warm weather there’s beach access very close by and every possible toy you could need for outdoor fun. This property is a winner inside & out!

Such a beautiful property. The huge deck and fire pit area is so welcoming to those who want to enjoy the great outdoors. Everything you need to enjoy the lake and many hiking, biking trails in the area. Host are just the best with knowledge of area and supplying recommendations on things to do and places to go. House has plenty of room for families to cook together, play games, or watch movies. Love that we could include our fur babies in our stay. This is best place to stay to enjoy the Sandpoint area. This was our second stay at Murphy’s Retreat and won’t be our last. Book it now, you won’t regret it.

It was absolutely gorgeous and I absolutely loved the little map on the wall it was so very helpful in finding some places. It was also wonderful how many games and other items were offered at the property that were so helpful when we forgot things like chairs and extensions cords. Everyone in my group had an amazing time and we would definitely stay again in the future!

Winter Getaway

Great little cabin that met all of our needs. Loved staying here for the week. Having Schweitzer to ski 25 miutes away, the town to hang out in, and being able to drive to Coeur d'Alene for one day.
