In the heart of New York Wine Country! Amazing home on Owasco lake! 3800 square feet to enjoy, right on the lake, 3 huge decks, dock, NEW IN 2021 SUNSET LOUNGE WITH WINE COOLER, OUTDOOR TIKI BAR, party room, boat launch, garage. This house has modern amenities like cable TV, full kitchen, microwave, coffee area, ping pong table. We're pet friendly too! Fantastic sunroom to read the paper or just enjoy the view of the lake. PRIVATE and RIGHT ON THE LAKE. Floating deck for the kids.

6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. IN JULY AND AUGUST 1 WEEK MINIMUM, SATURDAY TO SATURDAY. The rest of the year 2 night minimum.

The lake is great for swimming and has a pebble beach! The lake is shallow for 10-15 feet out so its good for kids, pets, etc. We have a large grass yard surrounding the property as well as a small stream, and its very private, there are few other houses in the area. The house is only about 20 feet from the lake!

The lakefront on this property is gorgeous. It is long and has a great “zero-depth” entry which was paramount for us with children. The long and sturdy dock was great for having a boat. We have vacationed at this house before and the addition of the raft was great. The adults and kids enjoyed it equally. Having the large garage with extra fridge was great. Awesome place to store our floaties for the week. The addition of the nice trex deck since we visited last was great as well. Unfortunately, we had some concerns with the inside. While it was pretty clean, there were just some shortfalls for us given the price of this property. It could use some updates, there was broken furniture, the rooms facing east get blasted with sun in the morning and get pretty warm (no window coverings), and it was disappointing to see small details not taken care of (burnt out bulbs in a 5 bulb bath fixture with only one working or water clearly added to a soap dispenser to stretch it or a broken shower handle in the main bath). The biggest disappointment was clearly a water leak in our closet with chipping paint and exposed drywall. After 24 hrs of heavy rain, this leaked into our luggage. This home is great for a large group, has an amazing lake front, but for us unfortunately, the inside left much to be desired for the price tag on the rental.

Syracuse Graduation weekend

This place was the perfect location to be near or as near as we were going to get to the University for Graduation. Unfortunately we barely got to enjoy the outdoor amenities, which looked absolutely gorgeous. We'd love to book again when we have more time to enjoy the area

I have many thoughts about this property.The location is wonderful. The lake is beautiful! The owner clearly has put no effort into being a host or his property.I had to text him for check in instructions the night before we were to arrive. I did not receive anything, and then anxiously awaited for him to text me the information. The house was clean. However, there was zero effort put into the home, the air conditioner does not work well. Half of the house is freezing cold, the other half is boiling hot. He did have a maintaince worker come to check this out at our request. Per the air conditioner employee, there is nothing to be done. There are no curtains in most of the home.there are fans in some rooms that are full of dust. The bed sheets are mismatched, old.Many of the homes railings are LOOSE. So be careful with littles! The water in the house is awful. Sometimes the showers stop running. Sometimes boiling hot water comes down on you.The dish washer does not properly wash dishes. There is no garbage disposal on the sink. The land is not treated, there are many bugs outside.They do have a large garage to hold floaties. There are two fridges in the property. There is also a bar area that is not clean. There is dirt, spider webs.I would never stay here again.

Jim's house on Owasco Lake was beautiful. Perfect location on the water, so much space to hang out inside the house, outside on the dock, the tiki bar, the lawn and garage, it was perfect. The pictures don't do it justice. Would absolutely stay again!
