Waterfront retreat with panoramic sea views

Our house is a cozy, tranquil, getaway with a picturesque view of Saratoga passage and Mount Baker. Your blood pressure will soon drop as you sit on the deck, listen to the waves and the sea birds, while taking in the water view! We also frequently see deer in the yard. Our place is very quiet with a Northwest woodsy feel.

It is centrally located on Whidbey, providing an ideal base to explore all the island's activities and attractions. Whidbey is a big island with much to offer. Explore Deception Pass, Fort Casey, shop & dine in the quaint towns of Coupeville, Langley, visit the galleries, the farms, parks and numerous beaches all within minutes. Come back to your retreat and relax in comfort with nature. If you don't feel like getting in the car, the beach below is a five minute walk down the road. You can launch a kayak, paddleboard, or walk miles on this quiet beach. Or just stay inside, take in the view and watch premium channel TV on the 42' flat screen TV.

It has begun as a vacation rental in August 2014. We have replaced old beds with a king bed in the master and a queen bed in the second bedroom.

Good - But Pricey

This is a nice house but priced too high for what it is. There is no parking. It is just a single one way path to the house so get familiar with backing down a single path to the house. It is a nice view and a good spot, but not near the water. And while the house is good, it shouldn't be priced at over 200 a night.

The Sounds of Freedom

The house provides a fantastic view of Saratoga Passage and is conveniently located to the local town. However, nothing prepared me for the fighter jet training exercises late into the night. While my husband is ex-military and enjoyed the experience, I was literally rattled by the sound! As for the home, at first glance it appeared well maintained, but it needs a “deep clean” with an upgrade of pots, pans and glass ware.

Outstanding Views

Robyns place was the perfect place for our weekend stay. It was just as listed. Clean and bright. The views were outstanding! We saw 3 Orca from the deck! It was very exciting! Robyn responded to our communications immediately when we lost power. We would definitely stay again for a weekend trip.

Beautiful, tucked-away spot on Whidbey Island

We loved the above-and-beyond touches that this host provided! The bottle of wine chilling in the fridge, the well-stocked kitchen, complete and understandable instructions, helpfullabels throughout the property, well-stocked with extra blankets, and pleants of places to curl up and relax. There was a minor issue with the lock sticking when we first arrived; we have a similar lock at home. The lock gets stuck in the chamber and is hard to fully turn to open the door - it moves part of the way, but the connection has so much friction that it doesn't slide all the way out, and thus stays locked. We tried on and off, many times, for about 25 minutes before we were eventually able to pull and jiggle enough to get the lock to disengage. Again, this could totally be a one-off issue and this happens with our own lock at home at times. The other issue is a minor one and actually provided a bit of humor for the trip. The guest toilet (by the laundry) has a pipe or part that makes a sound around a minute after you flush that sounds like a ghost trying to escape the pipes. After it scared the bejebus out of my mother and daughter, we all found it rather funny and enjoyed the presence of the "pipes ghost" in the guest bath toilet. Lastly, something that is not at all an issue but something to be aware of. At the rear of the property (facing the Saratoga Passage), there's a significant cliff at the end of the property, past the fire ring. There isn't a fence or sign, so just be aware.

Wonderful place to stay on Whidbey

Our family of 4 enjoyed our time here, and the view from the porch was even more incredible than the photos! The location was great and it felt nice to be tucked away, but in close driving distance to the main towns and trails. The kitchen was also well stocked and we were able to enjoy staying in when it was on the rainier side. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Gorgeous view, cute interior, very clean. Took grandma on a relaxation trip and the view was the perfect inspiration for our painting afternoon. Host was super communicative and was easy to work with when we wanted to extend our trip beforehand. Would totally visit again!

Perfect home away from home

Beautiful small cottage on a bluff. The home was very clean and well appointed. Primary bed was comfortable and the view out the large window was a great way to wake up in the morning. The deck was perfect for enjoying the water, which is closer than the pictures lead you to believe. Part of the deck is covered which is a plus since you never know the weather here. There’s a Weber grill that’s clean and worked great. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a lil getaway! Don’t forget to visit the shops in Coupeville and Greenbank Farm, lots of small shops and local products.

Mother’s Day Celebration

An idyllic setting above the ocean. The beautiful deck was the perfect spot to watch the Northern Lights display! We saw an Orca with her calf right in front of the deck! The home was perfect for two couples. We would highly recommend this home.

Apple Cup 2023-

We had the best time!our turkey was perfect and at the end of the game we were So Happy the Huskies won!!! The weather was perfect.The dog parks on the island are amazing- 'so are the stores-We hope to come back next thanksgiving. Robyn was the perfect hostess.

Beautiful Water View

The view was amazing from the living room and the spacious deck. The house was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed going to Coupeville for dinner. We had a great four days and enthusiastically recommend this rental.

Great place with stunning views!

This is a great house with beautiful views. The location is close to downtown Coupeville and it’s many quaint stores and delicious places to eat. It’s a very relaxing place to sit back and decompress. The kitchen is well equipped for making meals. The beds were really comfortable. Our Corgi had a great time here too! Overall a terrific stay.

Amazing Views, Very Comfortable, and Excellent Communication with Owners

We loved this home with beautiful views, and that it was dog friendly too. Perfect for 3 adults with pets. The owners went out of their way to recommend places to visit and helped return some items that were left behind. We wished we could have stayed longer because we felt so at home with everything we needed for our stay. We highly recommend this place for your next visit to Whidbey Island. Thank You!

Fantastic views

Lovely house on the water with great views. We enjoyed sitting out every evening on the deck. watching the sun go down. Great location too I appreciated that there was laundry detergent and that it was free of perfumes. We will definitely come back.
