This was a great property to stay at with kids and pets. We lucked out with a winter wonderland scene, and the road was clear to get there. The kids loved the jetted tub, and the dogs had plenty of room to stretch their legs. I really appreciated the directions provided, because my phone GPS misguided us. We would definitely stay there again!

Thanks Jessica:
Thank you so much for taking care of our guest house!!! Thanks also for doing the laundry!!!
I am so glad you were able to use the jetted tub!!! I am glad the directions help you!
The ability to have two buildings side by side so me and my roommate basically had our own vacation rentals was a treat and we definitely utilized the Keurig before heading into Leavenworth

Thank you so much for choosing our Guest House to celebrate your 35th birthday. We do have a very peaceful and beautiful place.
House came with all the amenities (plus coffee!) that one could ask for. The bed was a little lumpy, but overall enjoyed our stay. Some of the heaters in the rooms did not work--only bathroom and electric fireplace worked. Which was fine for our stay but not if it gets any colder.
We are so happy you enjoyed your stay. What a wonderful idea; to put gates at the end of each side of the porch. Thanks so much for the feedback!!!

Nicole’s place worked great for our friends trip to Leavenworth during peak Christmas season. We really appreciated all of the thoughtful touches and decorations. This was a cozy landing spot after cold and rainy days in Leavenworth. Thanks for the great stay - would definitely recommend and return!
Carmen is a woman of her word. She said they would keep the house clean; you could not tell there were 11 people staying there. I really like honest people. Thank you Carmen.
We went here for NYE and there was so much snow. It was beautiful and the house was cozy. When we had an issue we were able to get in touch with the owners and had it resolved quickly. Very nice owners and lovely property.
I stayed with my husband and parents for 2 nights for New Years and it was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Only about a 15 minute drive to Leavenworth but away from the crowds. The kitchen was well stocked and there were lots of games to keep us entertained. It was a bit too icy to walk outside much, but I think it would be a great place to come during the summer.
Nicole was available and friendly... she made the whole stay seamless and convenient... my family and I would DEFINITELY book with her at this unique and accommodating property again!

It is always a pleasure to have such fun guests stay at our Guest House!!!
This is a great property, especially if you have someone who can't really do stairs. One of the bedrooms is right on the ground floor, on the same level with the kitchen and parking. The deck is fantastic and easily accessible. It is very easy to get into town, yet far enough out to enjoy peace and quiet. Its a great place to spend a weekend!

I am so happy that Aaron and his family enjoyed our Guest House. They were so quiet and friendly and left the place so clean.
Happy to have them!!!
This home is beautiful. It is so peaceful here. You cannot hear any traffic at all. We stayed 3 nights & only saw one other car go by the house one time, yet it's just a short drive into Leavenworth. Needs here are comfortable, & there was plenty of room to spread out. We only had 1 question when we arrived, & Nicole was here to answer within about 2 minutes. She is a kind & pleasant person. I would definitely want to stay here again, if it's available.

Lovely with some surprises
The porch and house were comfortable. Unfortunately the stairs in the house are not actual stairs and difficult to go down. The other suite had a mildew problem that smelled awful for the couple staying there. The house needs updating and help with mildew.

We h found out it was not mildew. A chipmunk was caught in some foam spray and died up at the roof line. We searched high and low for the mildew and then found the animal. Cleaned everything up and the smell is gone.

Needs many repairs.
Some of the rooms had peeling and torn wallpaper. The toilet in the "Queen Anne Suite" would not flush properly even after owner/plumber replaced wax seal and told us that toilet would need replaced. Floor surrounding the toilet in "Victorian Suite" was soft/spongy/mushy from, I'd guess, years of a leaky toilet flange. But the most irritating issue was the door leading into the Victorian Suite from the outside which would not completely close no matter how hard I tried to shut it. There was an inner door that locked but was the kind that can be unlocked with a screwdriver or even a fingernail. Anyone could just walk right in, very unsecure. The owners seem like very nice people, but their house needs a renovation. Honestly, the house was warm and dry, the Christmas decorations were nice, and the appliances were adequate. But, I won't recommend it to my friends despite dozens of five-star reviews. A nice house in a nice location but a bit neglected.

A White Christmas & the Grinch that stole the deposit
Although my Christmas week stay at the Liberty Inn began with a delightful white Christmas it ended with the Grinch taking the deposit and offering the below email in justifying the Grinch’s actions.
“ Good Morning Travis:
Happy New Year!!!
Just a few things; the added dog. There were stains on the Victorian bed blanket ( not sure but it looked like she was in heat) and also a lot of hair on the pillows. The rules say no pets on any of the furniture especially the beds.
In the Queen Anne Suite; there were two stains on the comforter and a lot of black hair. Also, in the Queen Anne bathroom, the grout was really brown in the middle of the floor. Don't know what that was but new to me.
Any information would help
Thank you
Nicole
Liberty Way Inn Guest House
I responded respectfully informing the Grinch that my dog was a male (unlikely to be in heat), my wife is post-menopausal, we never wore shoes inside the Inn, we placed our beach towels on the furniture and abided by ALL the rules. Unfortunately I have been held accountable for previously soiled linens, dirty floor grout and dog hair.
Lesson learned “never leave the Liberty Inn without a personal inspection of the entire Ipnn by your host” and a written agreement that BOTH of your deposits will be promptly returned.

How interesting! His daughter’s dog was a female and in heat. The dog’s vulva was swollen. I saw it when their two dogs came up here while his wife took them for a walk. In the Pet Addendum number 5. Pet is not allowed on furniture at any time. Must be well behaved. Any evidence of pets on furniture may incur extra cleaning fees. Which, because of Mr Pendergrass, I have had to change the rules and added more specific detail:
5. Pet is not allowed on furniture or beds AT ANY TIME. Must be well behaved. Any evidence of pets on furniture or beds may incur extra cleaning fees deducted from the $250 refundable deposit.
7. Pet must not cause damage to premises or furnishings. If damages are caused, the cost of the damage may be deducted from the $250 refundable deposit. If rules are disregarded, guest forfeit all amounts paid and agrees to terminate the contract.
As pertaining to the previously soiled linens; I personally wash and clean the linens. I do not put soiled lines on the beds!!! The grout in the bathroom is white, after his family left, I had to scrub the grout with a brush to get the grout back to white again, I pride myself on how clean I keep the floors and walls. The dog hair was from his daughters short haired black dog!!!
The deposits are returned within 5-7 days. I have no control over how long VRBO takes to refund the deposit.
When one reverts to name calling; it often shows a lack or fault in character.

Spent Xmas celebrating with family over the holidays
The house was decorated nicely upon arrival. Our family had a great time. The owners are very hospitable and ensured our stay was as pleasant as possible.
House was clean, decorated for the holidays and very well equipped for a short term stay. Part of our party was not able to attend, but that meant no one had to use the room upstairs. We were missing some paper product, the water in the shower and tub never got very hot, and the beds were soft, but the location near Leavenworth was hard to beat.
This was the perfect getaway rental for a group of 5 adults. The beds were all comfortable, everyone had their own bathrooms, so no excuses for running late. The covered porches were great for gathering on. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything except whatever food we brought. Also very festive as it was decorated for the holidays. Will definitely rent it again next time we head up to Leavenworth.
