Quick access to I-25 (one exit from Air Force Academy south gate) gives easy access to the region's many attractions, and location on north edge of town makes for easy travel to Denver (south Denver is 45 minutes; DIA 80 min.). The house was perfect for what we needed and it is so close to everything we wanted to do and see. It has a great view of pikes peak from the dining room. There were plenty of indoor and outdoor seating areas. The hosts were very helpful and responsive.

Close to all tourist locations . Manitou dwellings , red rock canon hike , garden of the gods , love downtown manitou springs . Hit the chuck wagon at flying W for the win . On the property’s back porch you can see beautiful mountains and pikes peek . The home is very homey and a family friendly . Trampoline in the back yard a long with a very friendly mule deer greeting us on and off during our stay taking a bite out of the plants and grass . Huge beautiful Pine trees in the back and front . The owners are super nice , helpful and kind .

Absolutely wonderful stay

My sister and family live about five miles from this property so the location was ideal for a weekend that included a military retirement ceremony and high school graduation. As if the location were not ideal enough, the home is beautifully furnished, scenery and setting are idyllic and peaceful, and everything about it is comfort, comfort, comfort! The hosts were beyond gracious and welcoming, and as long as this home is available, my family and I do not intend to search for any alternate locations on future visits. Definitely five stars!

The location of this property was excellent and just as described. We enjoyed watching the planes and parachutes from the USAFA every morning. Experienced great communication with the owner. Our grandchildren loved playing in the backyard and we appreciated the baby gate. Might not hurt to add one on the upper deck as the first step is a bit trickier for toddlers. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property!

Clean Home

We had an amazing stay at this location. Chek-in and check-out were very easy. If we had any problems, I would contact the owner and he replied instantly. Beautiful, clean home with space for all 9 adults and 3 kids. When it rained, we just played games inside. The only downside to this place is the fact that the backyard is not "toddler-friendly" because of the different levels of back-yard. We would definitely stay again!

Great house for large family and kids

There was plenty of room in this house for 5 adults and 2 children. My girls loved the back yard. Unfortunately we were in town for a wedding and didn't get to relax in the yard as much as we would have liked. It is close to shopping and food and only maybe 10 minutes to the AFA. When we arrived we got a tour of the house. It is very cute and homey and we felt very comfortable. Everyone seemed happy with their bed. I gave four stars instead of five because it appears there was only one roll of paper towels and no napkins. Otherwise it was great and very accommodating.

Great home to spend with kids

I would highly recommend this home! Plenty of space to spread out. Large selection of movies and games (not to mention the ping pong table downstairs). My young girls found the trunk loaded with play dresses which was a highlight for them. Make sure you take advantage of the large deck! We ate almost every meal outside. As far as location it is a couple minutes from Focus on the Family and 20-30 minutes from Manitou Springs and Pikes Peak Cog. We greatly enjoyed our stay and the owners were very helpful and great to talk with.

Why they chose this property

We chose to live in this neighborhood for the views, the friendly neighbors and the wooded privacy the landscape provides. It has been home to us for 10 years and we wouldn't dream of living anywhere else.

What makes this property unique

The pie shaped lot provides a large and private back yard that we enjoy everyday in all kinds of weather. The views of pikes peak and the Air Force planes as well as wildlife give us much to enjoy from windows and the back decks.
