The listing title is not wrong, "Luxury Cabin Perfect Location" - it certainly is ! Beautiful interior, very well-appointed kitchen (a Chef's kitchen to be honest), lovely decor. A wonderful surprise was the wine fridge available to guests at reasonable pricing.Stayed toasty warm and comfy even during extreme cold weather (-15 F). Super convenient to attend the Saranac Lake Winter Carnival and very close to snowmobile trails. (Next time I would book for much longer and rent machines to take advantage of the well-groomed trails throughout the area.)Definately a great experience all around.
The house was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and the house was very well stocked. Our communication with the owner was timely and helpful. The location was prefect for our vacation. We plan to stay here again in the future.
This was our first time staying at this great location, just minutes away from a family gathering in Onchiota. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything needed. The woodwork and decorations provided a beautiful Adirondack themed experience. We will definitely stay here again in the future for the next family gathering. Thanks!
Camp Casey was perfect for our week in the Adirondacks. The house worked great for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids), was spotless, very comfortable, and had everything we needed. Location was ideal for us, being within 45 minutes of Tupper Lake, Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, and lots of hiking and outdoor activity options. We would not hesitate to stay again on a future trip to the Adirondacks.
Even though it's on a somewhat busy road, I loved staying at Camp Casey. It was clean, peaceful, plenty of bathrooms, bedrooms, space, I lived everything about it. The bed were a little uncomfortable that's my only small complaint. Other than that it was a very nice vacation and the foliage was great too. Thank you for having us!
Perfect place, especially to view the 2024 eclipse
Our family was fortunate to find this cabin available for the April 8, 2024 eclipse. We spent the weekend enjoying fires in the cabin, explored near-by Lake Saranac, and experienced a once-in-lifetime total solar eclipse. The owner was very communicative, and assisted in helping our family decide how navigate a sizable early April snowstorm we had to contend with in our way to the cabin. Overall, it was a perfect vacation. There won’t be another eclipse in the area, but we hope to return regardless; it’s a beautiful place.
Camp Casey was excellent! It's perfectly located between Titus and Whiteface.
There was every amenity needed, including birthday candles to celebrate our youngest daughter's birthday while we were there. Communication with Chad was very prompt and always so helpful.
Thank you for everything, we had a wonderful time.
This was our 2nd long (5 weeks) at Camp Casey and it will not be our last. The listing is extremely accurate and we highly recommend Camp Casey as one of the finest rental homes we have stayed in. Chad, the owner, is always available timely if needed -- although the home is so well appointed and maintained that our communication is naturally limited. A+
The location of Camp Casey was the main reason we chose to stay there. It's proximity to Paul Smiths College for our reunion made it a good choice. It is also close to several hiking trails, lakes and ponds if that's what you are into. Don't forget to stop by the Paul Smith's College VIC!
Two of the couples that stay with us have vacation rentals and were impressed with Camp Casey. The house is well equipped, clean and well maintained. Some of us are also woodworkers and were impressed with whoever did the remodel of this house. The interior was wonderful. Very Adirondack feel with wood everywhere and hints of the outdoors.
We visit this are often and will definitely add this property to our list of potential rentals. Thanks Camp Casey!
We spent weeks trying to plan the perfect winter vacation for our kids since we didn't receive much snow in PA this year. We came across camp casey, and it couldn't have been more perfect! One of the best family weekends spent! The cabin felt just like home and had all the amenities needed for a 3 night stay! It was small enough to feel "homey" but big enough for us to all have space. The kitchen was big with everything needed. The yard was perfect for sledding! Not only the kids had fun😉. I'd definitely go back again!

Do not pass this one up!!
We spent a glorious week in Camp Casey. From the moment we walked in the door we knew we made the best decision when we decided to stay there. The Casey's left nothing out. The house is wonderful. It's clean and comfortable and every amenity was thought of! It is located in a great area. We made trips to Lake George (twice), Malone, Tupper Lake and more. Lake Placid and Saranac Lake are so close! As soon as we know our 2016 schedule we will book again...and again...and again! Thank You Whitney and Chad!

Perfect Getaway!
We were looking for a place in the middle of the Adirondacks and got exactly what we were looking for! The camp's detail was excellent throughout and the owners didn't miss a thing! The camp had anything you could need, towels, linens, and the kitchen supplies and appliances were great. The canoes and kayaks provided were easily transportable to the local lakes, great time for the kids. Also got to do some hiking on the mountains and then swimming in the lakes very close by. Lake Placid is close enough to head into town for dinner and then make it back to spend some time around the fire pit out back. Great location to enjoy all the outdoor activities with the family. Thank you for your hospitality - the camp was perfect - wouldn't change a thing!

Attention to Detail = Great Experience
I've been known to be a bit picky and someone who has high standards. :-) My experience with Whitney and Camp Casey was fantastic. I've stayed in many ADK camps, and this is the first time I've found a property that matched the quality of finishes and attention to detail in my own home. The property itself is top notch, the location great, and they seem to have anticipated just about anything you might need while staying there.
Thank you for putting such thoughtfulness and care into what you do. I'll for certain be staying at Camp Casey many more times!

Wonderful Stay at Camp Casey!
We can't say enough about the great accommodations at Camp Casey! Every detail has been thought out for the comfort and convenience of the guests. The attention given to the interior decorating is amazing and we truly felt like it was our home while in the area. We looked forward to the evenings around the fire and the days of activity in the area. The location is close to plenty of hiking trails, kayaking and canoeing, fishing, local shops, and the Paul Smith College Visitor Interpretive Center and trails. We had no shortage of things to do and places to see in the surrounding area! It is obvious that the Casey's have put their welcoming spirit and eye for design into this place and made it a step above the ordinary. We loved our first trip to this area of the Adirondacks and Camp Casey was a big part of our enjoyment. Saranac Lake and Lake Placid are both within easy driving distance, but this cabin takes you away from the more crowded areas. We would definitely consider Camp Casey on our next trip to the area. Thanks for helping to make our stay so wonderful!

Had a fabulous week at Camp Casey despite the rain. They provide everything you could ever need in a beautifully decorated Adirondack themed setting.
We loved every minute and found it difficult to pack up when the time came to leave.
We all were blown away at the camp Casey it was The BEST EQUIPED ,VRBO /ARBNB ANY OF US had expierenced. We have traveled the US as well as The world using these services.,everything was AMAZING ,everything was thought of by the owners,, EVERYTHING !! best vacation get away we have had
Our long-term 4-week stay at Camp Casey in July - August 2022 was absolutely delightful. When we are away for long periods, it is always great to go home at the end. However, there are so many aspects of life at the camp that we missed as soon as we headed out of the Adirondacks. We frequently travel for long-stays in the winter and summer and we've developed a long check-list of things we bring with us to make our stay as much like home as possible. For the first time, so many of the things we brought stayed packed -- Chad has thought of everything, as many others have stated. The camp is very well appointed. But when we did wander from the camp every day, we found such incredible nearby access for hiking trails, biking trails and of course the lakes. And although we ate most dinners at the camp, it's great to have Lake Placid so close for a nice dining experience. Highly, highly recommended!
Camp Casey felt like home as soon as we walked in.
We had an amazing time in the Adirondacks while staying at Camp Casey. The cabin was well stocked as advertised. We personally enjoyed seeing green trees out every window. We also enjoyed a nice camp fire our last night in the backyard with the supplied wood. The washer dryer combo was a plus for us as we traveled only with carry-ons for our flight. We would definitely recommend Camp Casey to our family and friends. The cabin was centrally located as we did a day trip to Montreal, Lake Placid, Tupper Lake, Saranac Lake, and of course we stopped at Donnelly’s Ice Cream. Chad was easily accessible and pleasant when we did have a question. We can’t wait to come back and stay at this beautiful comfortable and affordable cabin in the woods.
