Apartment with pool near to the Ariege valleys

Recent apartment (ground floor of a detached villa) with independant access, near to high mountains (the valleys of Ax, the Beille plateau, and Andorra), great in summer for walks of all levels.
Also close to prehistoric sites (the caves at Niaux - equivalent to those at Lascaux, the prehistoric Park ...) and Cathar sites (Montsegur and Roquefixade Castles ...).
For lovers of outdoor sports, there are numerous rock climbing, canyoning, hang gliding and via-ferrata sites.
The apartment is south facing, in a very relaxing rural setting, with friendly owners willing to give you advice so that you can make the most of your stay. Tha swimming pool (open in summer, from June to mi-September) is 6m*12m and only 2m from the apartment, and is shared with the owners.
From September to June, the cottage is rented with only 2 rooms for 4 people. It is then possible to make short stays.

Well appointed villa with a lovely swimming pool in a beautiful setting

This is an excellent place for a relaxing holiday. Nathalie is a wonderful hostess and greeted us warmly when we arrived. The house was comfortable and well appointed and the swimming pool was just perfect. The house is in a beautiful valley just below a small village and with spectacular mountain peaks all around. A great base for an outdoor holiday or for simply lying by the pool and soaking up the sun.

Lovely gite in fantastic location

5 adults and 1 child enjoyed a fabulous week here in August 2016. Very comfortable accommodation with everything we needed, even a dishwasher. Large pool which was great for swimming and playing in. Lots of walking and climbing nearby, as well as lots of other places of interest, including castles and prehistoric cave paintings. 5km to Tarascon-sur-Ariege for supermarkets, bakeries, etc. Nathalie our host answered all our questions and was very helpful. Maps of the local area were provided as well as toys for younger children. Thanks for a fantastic week.

Une adresse parfaite pour des vacances au calme !!

Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse dans cette charmante maison située à Arnave, proche de toute les commodités. La maison est très agréable, la piscine un vrai plus ! Nous avons pu faire de nombreuses activités et les propriétaires sont charmants !! Allez y les yeux fermés !!

Vacances à la neige reposantes !!!

Maison très agréable avec tous les équipements adaptés à un petite famille avec un enfant en bas âge. Proximité des stations de ski (fond ou alpin), des sites touristiques (château de foix, forges de Pyrennes..). Nous avons passé un séjour dépaysant et reposant. Accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire, location à recommander hiver comme été !!

Situation très tranquille. Nombreuses possibilités d''activités et de visites (p.ex. Foix, Montségur, Andorre, grotte de Niaux, ...).
