Almost limitless hiking trails and site-seeing opportunities. We enjoyed having the free Island Explorer Buses that run all over the island from sometime in June until Columbus Day. It made Bar Harbor much easier with not having to find parking. We had a couple of rainy days, so we especially enjoyed having all the comforts of home in Warren and Judy’s lovely Chalet!
Relaxation at its finest
I can’t think of anything more peaceful than watching the tide come & go. Thank you, Warren & Judy for giving us the opportunity to relax & unwind. Your home gives so much privacy to enjoy & feel like our on personal place at the beach!
It’s a short scenic drive to Bar Harbor to shop, cruise, or visit Cadillac Mt., but feels great to get back to the peace & quiet. I will definitely be back.

Enjoyed our Stay
Overall, we had a relaxing & fun family vacation in the Acadia area. Fun adventures in Acadia & Bar Harbor. Chalet was clean and comfortable. Would have liked a little more ocean (high tide). Saw 3 deer in the yard, on our first morning!
Clean and neat. Every home need is provided. Only downside is the need to go down stairs for night time needs.

A quiet escape after sightseeing while still having an ocean view and not far from the Island's most scenic spots. Many amenities are provided, some of which were requested by previous renters. Our rates are very competitive compared to comparable properties.
What makes this House unique
Our property is on a 0.3 mile dead-end, paved road, so it doesn't see a lot of traffic. Parking is off road in our spacious driveway. Our property is lined with greenery (mostly white spruce) so there's a good measure of privacy as well. Several renters have commented that it serves as a 'quiet oasis' after a hectic day of sightseeing. Perhaps that helps explain the fact that we have MANY repeat guests. Some have returned for five, six, and seven years. One couple has been with us for ten years!
