Hale Ili Ili #A is a ground floor 3Bd 2 Bath unit with a fully equipped kitchen, split system air conditioning throughout, washer and dryer, a standard coffee maker and a Keurig coffee maker, an outdoor shower, 4 flat screen TV, and complimentary high speed wireless. The Living Room has a large flat Screen TV and Sonos Soundbar which makes for a great family movie night or your favorite playlist as you enjoy the sunset. The primary bedroom has a king bed and a flat-screen TV and the guest room on the main level has 2 twin beds that can be made up into king bed upon request. The downstairs guest-bedroom includes a queen-sized alcove bed where you can fully relax. Additionally, it has a great theatre viewing experience, complete with a powerful split system AC, large Smart TV, Sonos Surround Sound, perfect for movies, sports, or your favorite shows. **Please note, the downstairs bedroom is not recommended for children under 12 years old, adult supervision in this area is required; additionally, the staircase can be rather steep for those with mobility issues. **
For your outdoor enjoyment, Hale Ili Ili #A provides beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler, and sand toys. Enjoy a legendary Maui sunset from your private Oceanview lanai dining area. Hale Ili Ili #A has a maximum occupancy of 6 guests. This number includes infants and toddlers. A $300 refundable security deposit is required for this unit.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.

Kamaole Beach #1 is world famous for swimming, body surfing, and snorkeling. This beach park has life guards, showers, bathrooms and picnic areas. At the other end of the beach is Cove Park the main surfing and paddle boarding beach in Kihei.

Great place to stay! Amenities and location are way above others in this are and price range. Appliances and electronics all above average and easy to use. Condo is fairly well equipped for most guests. Some decor is starting to wear and show age. Hot tub is serviceable and pleasant, but several of the jets or controls either don’t work or we couldn’t figure them out. Property manager is wonderful!

Our 8 and 10 year old loved walking to the beach, playing in the sand, swimming in the ocean, and even doing a little snorkeling by the rocks, where we saw a sea turtle! The house itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed, including beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, a boogie board, snorkeling equipment, and a cooler. We had coffee on the lanai in the morning at sunrise and enjoyed the sunset each evening. Absolutely loved our stay and fully intend to stay here again for our next trip!

All the little things

The location was perfect. The view was incredible but the very short walk down the trail to Charley Young Beach was easy. The beach was perfect. We snorkeled right there and saw tons of sea turtles! Restaurants and shops were within walking distance, as well as surfing lessons! But the little things in the condo made the difference. Beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, box fans (we are white noise sleepers), binoculars, games, books…I could go on and on. We loved the area because it did not feel so touristy and busy even though there was plenty to do close by. Hot tub and pool was perfect also! I could not have asked for a better place to stay.

Just as AMAZING as advertised

Hale ili ili was the perfect location! Overview of the beach was perfect as we could just walk out the back patio and down to the ocean was exactly what we were looking for. There were numerous shops and restaurants within walking distance which was great. We did however rent a van so we could explore the rest of Maui. There were many beautiful areas throughout but I feel that we were located in the best of all places. The condo was roomy, clean, and had so many extra items that were included for our use. There were 6 of us staying there and plenty of space for everyone. We were thoroughly impressed and are already contemplating when we should return again and book this same unit because it was one of the highlights of our trip. Management of the property was very friendly and communicative and enhanced the stay even more. We look forward to returning to Maui and we'll be sure to prioritize booking this unit again!

Gorgeous views and fantastic location, steps to the beach

We had a wonderful weeklong stay at this well-stocked and nicely-appointed condo which is in an ideal location in Kihei. The property was immaculate. The panoramic views of the ocean were stunning. It was nice to sit on the patio and watch paddle boarders, snorkelers, canoes and kayaks going by. We saw many sea turtles in the water directly in front of the property! The kitchen is extremely well-stocked with all of the appliances, dishes and supplies you could possibly need. The property also has boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, coolers, etc. There were some upstairs noises (footsteps, chairs moving), but this is to be expected in a lower unit in an older multiplex building. We unwittingly discovered a privacy issue with the glass in the sliding pocket door in the master bathroom. The glass appears opaque when the interior lights are off, but becomes quite transparent when the lights are on (!) It would be ideal to address this to ensure greater privacy for future guests. Overall we had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and well-located property. Thank you!

This was our favorite place to stay in all our five visits to Maui. The location is perfect—right on the beach, with a deck that's ideal for watching the sunrise and sunset with a cup of coffee. We love to enjoy the local vibe rather than staying at big resorts, and this rental was conveniently close to local restaurants and businesses. We would definitely stay here again. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the pool.

Check in/check out process was very simple and well communicated. Kathy actually met us at the property door and gave a highlight tour and access instructions. This was an added bonus! The condo was as described and stocked with starter essentials. The location was perfect in Kihei- which was in the middle of everything on our bucket list. We had the best vacation and would definitely stay here again!! The view outside the backdoor and access to walk down on to the beach was priceless! Mohalo!!

Perfect Location

You can't beat this location. It's just steps from a beautiful, non-crowded beach (Charley Young Beach) and a short-walk to surfing lessons at Cove Beach Park. The property is well-stocked and clean and the beds are comfortable. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!
