Autumn holiday - beach and climbing

We stayed at the property for two weeks. Location is perfect for good access to many beautiful beaches and climbing around Canicattini. The villa is wonderful with a beautiful garden and a full-sized pool. The children didn’t want to leave because there was so much to do around the villa. Roberto was a great host attentive to our questions. Highly .recommended for large groups or families.

Fantastic Family-Friendly Getaway with Amazing Pool!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! The highlight was definitely the pool - it’s incredibly deep and provided endless entertainment for our kids. They spent hours doing their best jumps and having a blast in the water.The location is perfect with easy access to everything you need, plus the beach is conveniently close by. Inside the house, we found everything we needed for a comfortable stay - nothing was missing!A special shoutout to the landlord who was incredibly helpful throughout our visit. Their responsiveness and assistance made our experience even better.Overall, this property exceeded our expectations and we’d definitely recommend it to other families looking for a fun, relaxing vacation spot. The combination of the amazing pool, great location, well-equipped house, and excellent host made for a perfect getaway!

Wonderful villa in a fantastic location!

Roberto's house is very spacious and private. The large swimming pool and surrounding landscaping are beautiful. The yard also includes a grill and plenty of outdoor seating so that you can enjoy meals 'al fresco'. There are beautiful views of the mountains and the sea. The property includes a covered parking area for your car. It's a quick walk into Fontane Bianche where there is a coffee/gelato shop, a public beach, and a couple of nice restaurants. There is a small market with most staples (including wine) that is a medium length walk or a short drive away on SP104. The larger village inland, Cassibile ( a 5-min drive) has a large selection of shops and restaurants. A great location for relaxation, and to experience some of the highlights of Eastern Sicily, such as Noto, Avola, and Siracusa/Ortigia. I plan to return!

I Can’t Recommend This Property

We were at this house for two weeks in April. The weather was chilly and the house is not winterised. The worst problem was with the electricity. There are two air conditioner/heaters. If you turn the heaters on the electricity cuts off and you are left in the dark. We were later told by Roberto, the host, that you can only run one heater at a time. He bought a gas heater which allowed us to use the living room/dining room.Two of my family members, a honeymooning couple who had planned to stay for three days left after one night. For the rest of the time we had intermittent problems with the electricity. The circuit breakers were located outside of the house in a difficult place to access. Two days before our scheduled departure Roberto finally called in an electrician who apparently replaced the circuit breakers. This will not fix the problem. The whole house needs to be rewired in order to have either air conditioning or heating. This was not the family vacation we had anticipated!

Relaxing family break

We had a lovely stay at this house. The outside areas are great with 2 big covered terraces, a huge pool and table football which the kids loved! The pool is quite deep but there were pool noodles which meant the kids could go in the pool safely. It is a short walk to the beach and cafes. One bedroom didn’t have air conditioning and got very hot but Roberto kindly brought us another fan as soon as we requested it.

Large villa with a great pool

This villa is very nice and has plenty of space even for a larger group. We were six adults and three children with children sharing one room and adult couples occupying the remaining three bedrooms. The sleeping area can be cooled nicely with air conditioning. One of the rooms is downstairs with a bit more privacy. The Villa has a wonderful big swimming pool which Roberto keeps in excellent condition. The outside area has beautiful well-maintained garden with trees providing cover from the sun and hedges giving privacy. The patios on both sides are great, with one having a view over the pool and the other over the sea and hills. The beach is within a walking distance and there are many even nicer beaches within short driving distance. A car is must have here, as Fontaine Bianche doesn’t have too many services. You can easily park two, or even three cars on the property. Nearby towns have great selection of restaurants and supermarkets and Syrakusa 30 min away even more. Only minor issues we had were with the toilet and plumbing, but Roberto had the everything fixed very quickly. Free wifi worked very well as did other amenities. We really enjoyed our vacation here and are happy to warmly recommend the place.

Bellissima vacanza

Ottima esperienza, la villa è comoda e molto grande, con una piscina bellissima ed un giardino da sogno. Mare con scogli a pochi metri dalla casa. Le spiagge di Fontane Bianche raggiungibili in pochi minuti in auto. Mare cristallino e sempre calmo. Il padrone di casa è molto disponibile, ci ha dato tantissime dritte per spiagge, ristoranti e per ogni nostra esigenza. Esperienza da ripetere, ma una settimana non basta!! Grazie Roberto!!

La casa ha un bel giardino ma all interno é molto vecchia e trascurata.

La casa non é messa in sicurezza. Le tapparelle sono vecchie e sono apribili facilmente dall esterno, cosa che ha facilitato instrusione di ladri in casa. Non ci sono telecamere di sorveglianza. I servizi sanitari sono vecchi e da attivare manualmente. Lo sciacquone non funziona nei bagni. Credo che la piscina sia solo riempita con acqua e non ha nessuna soluzione di cloro disinfettante

Rimango davvero senza parole, per una serie di motivi e cercherò di descriverli. Sono con Homeliday da 14 anni e nessuno si è mai lamentato! Per prima cosa basti vedere i bagni completamente ristrutturato come da foto per capire che i sanitari sono nuovissimi, ma si era solo rotto il galleggiante, riparato immediatamente! Secondo l’intrusione di Ladri non può dipendere da me, ma da come una persona lasci una casa ed in quel caso le tapparelle e le finestre erano aperte e quindi hanno praticamente detto ai ladri occasionali, dato il contesto molto signorile, praticamente accomodatevi! Per quanto riguarda i condizionatori ne ho tre su quattro camere ! Mi è sembrato ingiusta questa recensione soprattutto perché mi ha fatto scendere il mio voto di giudizio molto alto e per molti anni!

Casa meravigliosa, pulizia e comfort totale.

E' stata una vacanza meravigliosa. La Sicilia è una terra incantevole e il nostro padrone di casa ci ha coccolati e dato consigli e indicazioni per escursioni ed itinerari. La casa è bellissima, pulita e dotata di ogni comfort. La zona di Fontane Bianche è una zona tranquilla ma nello stesso tempo viva, ricca di vegetazione rigogliosa e spiagge che lasciano a bocca aperta. A Fontane Bianche non mancano ristorante, piccoli supermercati per avere tutto a portata di mano. Tornare a casa e fare un bagno in piscina godendosi un aperitivo è qualcosa da non perdersi come non è da perdere fare il bagno in piscina sotto la luna a mezzanotte. Consiglio di vivere questa esperienza e consiglio questo immobile a chiunque decida di fare una vacanza in Sicilia. Grazie ancora al nostro fantastico padrone di casa ormai diventato anche un amico.

Casa molto bella interni stile anni 60 ben curata camere grandissime esterno meraviglioso con giardino immenso con zona relax e piscina....vista dal terrazzo spettacolare davvero mozzafiato! Il proprietario molto presente e subito attivo a risolvere qualsiasi problema! La consiglio a chi è in cerca di una settimana di puro relax!

Posto tranquillo e rilassante

Ho trascorso con la mia famiglia una bellissima vacanza. Le nostre aspettative sono state pienamente soddisfatte sia dal punto di vista della villa, con piscina e giardino molto curati, sia per ciò che riguarda la posizione in cui essa è situata, ovvero in una zona tranquilla, a pochi passi da una spiaggia libera. Il proprietario si è dimostrato una persona molto presente e disponibile ad ogni richiesta ed i luoghi/ristoranti da lui consigliatici ci hanno pienamente soddisfatti.

Ett stort härligt hus med en stor pool

Vi hade en underbar vecka vid poolen och kunde även gå ner och bada i havet. Vi var aldrig vid sandstranden utan njöt av bad vid klipporna. Kvällarna tillbringade vi på verandan. Huset och poolen är mycket större än det ser ut på bilderna. Vi var 3 familjer, 12 personer i huset varav 6 barn/ungdomar mellan 8-18år. Fyra av dem fick ligga i våningssängar på resormadrasser. Vi hade 2 mindre incidenter när det gällde vattenförsörjningen och en av toaletterna, men Roberto var snabb att fixa till det. Roberto är mycket serviceminded och tillmötesgående även om engelskan var lite knackig. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

Fantastic friendly house in a wonderfull location

We highly recommend this house for a family holiday. We had great time with four small children playing in a superb garden. The swimming pool is a dream although unguarded. It is long, 3 m deep, has a trampoline and is located in a beautiful, mature and spacious garden. We found everything about the property better than it looked in the pictures. The description was accurate. The furniture is a little bit tired but the house is well equipped, clean and very comfortable. It has a great terrace where we had all our meals. The sandy beach is at 5 min walk. The picturesque cliff is even closer. The whole village is peaceful and wealthy and there is a lot of beautiful villas in the neighbourhood but it is recommended to have the windows and shutters shut when you leave the house. The great feature of the house is the owner, who is extremely friendly, helpful and replies to all mails within minutes. Thank you Roberto, we hope to come back!

Merveilleuses vacances dans cette merveilleuse Villa !

Nous garderons de très bons souvenirs de ce séjour pendant lequel nous avons occupé cette maison pendant plus de 2 semaines avec 4 adultes et 5 ados. Interieurs et exterieurs conformes à la description de l'annonce. Les espaces exterieurs sont vraiment très agréables, beaucoup d'espace, à l'ombre ou au soleil. Piscine vraiment grande et agréable. L'interieur est propre et globalement fonctionnel. Les 2 réfrigérateurs/congélateurs sont bien adaptés à la capacité de la maison. Un lave vaisselle aurait été apprécié mais nous savions avant qu'il n'y en aurait pas et nous nous sommes adaptés...L'équipement de la cuisine et la quantité de vaisselle est globalement un peut juste en regard de la capacité de la maison mais ce n'est qu'un détail....Nous avons eu la bonne surprise d' avoir un WIFI que nous ne pensions pas avoir. Une plage de sable (belle mais très fréquentée) est très proche à pieds et nous avons préféré la baignade encore plus proche depuis les rochers très proches avec des eaux cristallines et petits poissons. Merci beaucoup à Roberto pour son accueil et sa disponibilité !

Vacanza a Fontane Bianche

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana della nostra vacanza in Sicilia a Fontane Bianche. La villa si è rivelata la soluzione ideale per il nostro gruppo di amici composto da adulti e bambini / ragazzi. Abbiamo apprezzato molto gli ampi spazi sia esterni che interni. Tutto è molto funzionale e la piscina e' stata uno sfogo impagabile soprattutto per i ragazzi. Il proprietario e' stato molto disponibile e sempre pronto a rispondere a ogni esigenza. La posizione della villa risulta comoda rispetto al mare e allo stesso tempo silenziosa. Consigliamo questa soluzione per gruppi numerosi.

Perfect House for us

This house was absolutely fabulous. We were a family of 8 adults and there was more than enough room to spread out. The garden and pool are absolutely gorgeous, the pool big enough to swim properly and the garden has mature trees to provide welcome shade. We loved having lunch and supper on the huge terrace where you can enjoy views of the sea. Roberto is a friendly and most helpful host who was there to welcome us as we arrived. Although promised , there was no internet connection during our stay a very minor issue as this house is truly wonderful.

Very nice stay

Very sympatic owner. No problem even if we arrived more than 1h30 later. No problem either to recover the deposit. The house is nice even if a bit "old school" but we spent all the time on the beautiful terrace. Swimming pool is also very nice (only comment would be that it's too deep, no less that 1m70). Logement correspondant exactement aux photos et aux descriptions données sur le site. Chambres spacieuses et bien aménagées, salles de bain complètes avec une douche dans chaque. Belle propriété très bien entretenue. Propriétaires très sympathiques et disponibles si besoin. Le seul bémol est la piscine non adaptées à de jeunes enfants car profonde et sans escaliers.
