Newly renovated beach house located a few short blocks to the quiet, idyllic North Beach. Public beach assess is on either end of Bay Street. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance down the driveway and across the street. We renovated and updated the entire house in 2014. New kitchen appliances. Granite countertops. Ceiling fans. Tableware, pots and pans, blender, toaster, crockpot, regular and Kuerig coffee maker are just a few of the amenities. Enjoy your meals at the large kitchen table. There is also seating for 4 in the dining room. Enclosed Sunroom off the kitchen. The Sunroom has a daybed with a trundle that sleeps two. Newly furnished living room with large, flat-screen TV. Queen size beds in all 3 rooms with flat-screen TV's and ceiling fans. Bathrooms have been updated. Large outdoor living space with fenced in backyard. New concrete stamped patio installed in march of 2017. New vinyl fence installed in 2019. Check out the new photos. Relax around the fire pit or grill your 'catch of the day' on the outdoor grill. Challenge family members to a game of corn hole! Grab some beach toys, the wagon and cooler from the shed and head to the beach. We recently installed an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand from the beach (cold water). Relax on the front porch with a good book.

Great vacation house

House was clean and well stocked for a great visit to the beach. Short walk to North beach where we played in the water and watched the dolphins. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Place to Stay

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. It has a fire pit which our teenage grandsons wanted to use every night. It is a comfortable walking or driving distance to the beach, stores, restaurants and Savannah. Would highly recommend this place.

Love Tybee

I absolutely loved the property - bright and spacious! The updated bathroom is beautiful. It had a wonderful yard/patio/firepit for our small gathering. It was a short walk to the beach and close to the mid-island. Huck-a-poos across the street is a must go to! The was extremely clean and the concern I had was addressed immediately by the owner. She is top rated from my experiences! I would love to stay here again!

Wonderful week with GS

We stayed at this home with 4 moms and 4 teen girl scouts and had a wonderful week. The house had everything we needed as far as utensils, cookware, etc, 2 coffee makers, one Kureg and one traditional, and lots of room to spread out. Sherry was always quick to reply to any questions I had through the VRBO messaging system. Note - the washing machine is not HE, so bring some regular (old fashioned) detergent for it.

A winter Get away from NY

Our stay was just great and the owner of the property was very responsive and wonderful to work with. The house was extremely clean, within walking distance of local businesses/restaurants and a beach access, and had all the amenities necessary for a delightful stay. Upon arrival we were greeted with two bottles of wine, fine chocolate and bags of popcorn. The back yard offered a cozy oasis with a fire pit for evening entertainment, barbecue grill for lush dinners, and shaded patio facilities for sharing meals and pleasant conversations. What else would one need for a perfect vacation? Our group appreciated all of the lovely touches included in the house to make us feel at home. I would recommend without hesitation this rental property; 5 stars out of 5!

PERFECT LOCATION WITH LOTS OF SPACE

I have traveled a bit and stayed at many VBRO properties. This one was great because everything is new and it works. Including the flat screen T.V. and wifi and it had everything I needed to cook in the kitchen as well. I'm local but had company coming from North Carolina for 4 days and we stayed here. This house is adorable and perfectly located. You can walk out the back door and be at one of the most famous dive/pizza/bars on the island in about 600 yards. You can also get some fantastic coffee at Tybean or scope out the little strip of local artists and boutique shops which are also right there in the same little area, I think you can even rent bikes right in this same little location. The house is nice and quiet and very comfortable. The mattresses are all brand new SEALY'S!!!! Very comfortable and plenty of room. I would definitely recommend staying here and I'm sure I will again.

Wonderful stay

House was very clean and quiet. Trees all around and good wooden blinds so it stayed nice and cool even with 90 plus degrees temps outside. Property had games, books, and blocks for our children. Plenty of regular and beach towels and even little shampoos and conditioners. Kitchen was nicely upgraded and including cookware, coffee maker. Outdoor area was fenced and perfect for our two small dogs. Bedrooms were comfortable. Master has changing table and pack n play. Hardwood floors throughout were nice. Beach is a short walk but can be a little daunting with kids and lots of stuff. As a previous review stated you must walk to main road and around. The Beach is not the main ocean but more of an inlet area. For our family this was perfect. The waves were very small which was perfect for our 3 year old. We saw tons of dolphins. The main beach is only a 5 minute drive but several dollars an hour to park there. Red wagon and beach toys owner provides are wonderful!!! Directly in front rental is a great coffee shop, several restaurants, and several small local shops. Binder owner provides is very useful to find local attractions and food.

Comfy beds!!

We stayed four nights at this house. It is a three bedroom house with a fourth trundle bed in the sunroom. It was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. It has all of the basic amenities and the fenced back patio was wonderful. They had alot of little extras like bikes, floats, a cooler and sand toys. The house is nestled back among many houses and shaded trees. You are a very small walk down a dirt path to amazing pizza and the best coffee at Tybean. I recommend both the pizza and the coffee. You are at the north end of the beach which is more of an inlet than full ocean. Most days there are shrimp boats at this beach which means you have a great opportunity to see dolphins. We saw dolphins every morning. I must say the walk to the beach is longer than what I thought it would be as you have to walk down the dirt paths behind the houses to get there. The host was amazingly fast to answer my questions. The only down side we had was an empty grill propane tank. Even the back up was empty when we wanted to grill and there was an issue with the air-conditioning in the heat wave and they had to shut down the air-conditioning in the middle of the night to give it a break as it was working too hard to keep up with the heat but we did not notice that much. The house stayed cool. Overall a good experience with this house.

House in ill repair

The owner was very nice and refunded our money minus VRBO fees which I feel should have been reimbursed as well due to never ending issues with the water. At times having no water at all. Other times, water shooting up out of the ground making it impossible to enjoy the patio. I wouldn't recommend staying there. Made for a very stressful vacation. I went on vacation to get away from stress, instead had lots of it.

Family trip Escapade

Let’s start things off on a high note..the place was clean, nicely furnished and amenities such as gas grill, washer/dryer, coffeemakers and walking distance to the beach 10 minutes tops… however I gave this property a 3 star rating simply because the “up keep” of the property was not as advertised on the Vrbo app! Upon entrance I was “taken back by” a strong smell of “pet urine mixed with mildew” coming from the wooden floor…also we noticed in the outside the corner of the roof had detached from the frame leaving an open whole for scavengers to potentially enter which was concerning because I seen a large raccoon later that night! Also in the family room, dust particles were heavily falling from the ceiling air ducts. The outdoor patio and shrubs were dirty and not as pictured. Lastly, 2 of the 3 bedrooms were smaller than what the photos advertised, the bonus bedroom is actually in the sunroom furnished with a daybed that has a detachable trundle bed underneath. The house could potentially sleep 3 adult couples in the bedrooms and 3 children (couch in family room and sunroom in the daybed/trundle). The house is in Tybee and walking distance to the beach. Make sure to use the main entrance to access the beach, because the residents in the gated community did not like us cutting through their parking lot to enter the beach.

Location, location, location!

This house is so convenient for beach access, good coffee and shopping. It's great if you want to venture into Savannah but not have the overnight noise. Tybee Island offers great dining if you want to stay local. We have stayed in this house twice.
