Cosy chalet close to the pistes

We had a great stay. The chalet is well equipped and has room for everyone. Its in a more quiet part of Morzine, but is close to the pistes - a short ride by ski-bus. Easy access to both The Super Morzine and Pleney lifts. New sauna was also popular with everyone!

Schöner und entspannter Aufenthalt

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche vor Ort! Das Haus ist sehr behaglich und gemĂŒtlich eingerichtet, hat einen wunderschönen Kamin und eine Sauna, so dass man auch problemlos einen Schlechtwettertag dort â€šĂŒbersteht‘. Die Lage ist ok, in 5 min ist man zur Bushaltestelle gelaufen, wo alle 15-20 min ein Skibus vorbeikommt. GeschĂ€fte sind in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreicht. Man sollte beachten, dass das Haus aufgrund seiner Bauweise sehr hellhörig ist, man nimmt also besser Ohropax mit. Das Haus ist fĂŒr acht Personen ausgelegt, eine entsprechend große Couch wĂ€re super, damit nicht die HĂ€lfte auf recht unbequemen StĂŒhlen sitzen muss. Und grĂ¶ĂŸere WeinglĂ€ser wĂ€ren ein weiteres Plus. Davon abgesehen hat es uns sehr gut gefallen, und wir wĂŒrden wiederkommen.

Lovely chalet

The chalet is lovely. As previous reviewers have mentioned it could do with another soft seating area (we carried a sofa up from the hall so we could all sit and chill out after a days skiing) and it only has 2 loos, one shower and one bath which is a bit limiting when 8 people are staying. It is really well equipped and it’s an 100m walk down the lane to get the U bus route into the centre of Morzine. We left our skis at the ski hire shop overnight in town - if you bring your skis back every night it would be a bit of a trek up the lane carrying everything. The last bus leaves Morzine at 7.30pm, if you want to stay later you’d need to find a taxi or walk back which is quite far. The owners are very responsive although it took a while to get a map so we could find the chalet. Julie (who checked us in and out) speaks excellent English and was very helpful and relaxed. There is a large fridge/freezer and oven, coffee maker, fondue set, peelers, mashers etc. The best equipped chalet I’ve stayed in.

Top mit kleinen SchwÀchen

Wir waren mit zwei Familien (insgesamt 4 Teenager) in diesem Haus. Es ist gerĂ€umig und gemĂŒtlich eingerichtet. Alles, was man braucht (KĂŒche, Einrichtung, Trocknung der Skiklamotten etc.) ist vorhanden. Die Dusche/Badewanne verfĂŒgte ĂŒber genĂŒgend warmes Wasser, so dass alle Personen hintereinander duschen konnten. Die Heizung (Fußbodenheizung auf 2 Etagen, Heizkörper in der obersten Etage) kann den individuellen WĂŒnschen angepasst werden. Das kostenlose WLAN ist fĂŒr 8 Personen aber recht langsam und brach auch leider mehrmals zusammen, konnte aber immer wieder mit etwas MĂŒhe reaktiviert werden. Leider ist das Haus auch extrem hellhörig, so dass man auch von einer Etage zur nĂ€chsten alle GesprĂ€che in normaler LautstĂ€rke recht mĂŒhelos verfolgen konnte. Außerdem knarren die Dielen im ersten Stock so stark, dass man beim Bewegen auf der Etage ordentlich LĂ€rm macht. Es gibt aber sicherlich Schlimmeres. Wichtig zu wissen, wĂ€re fĂŒr uns gewesen, dass die 140cm und 160cm breiten Betten jeweils nur ĂŒber eine gemeinsame große Decke verfĂŒgen. Daran hatten wir nicht gedacht. Aber wir konnten uns mit den eigenen BettbezĂŒgen noch ganz gut behelfen.Die Betten sind ĂŒbrigens wirklich prima! Alle Personen haben sehr sehr gut geschlafen! Besonders fĂŒr Familien mit Kindern ist dieses Haus mit Wiese gut geeignet, da es sich am Ende einer kleinen, kaum befahrenen Straße in der Sackgasse befindet. Mit dem Skibus ist man sehr schnell im Zentrum und an den Skiliften. Den Kontakt zu der Agentur und Mme Journel möchte ich besonders positiv hervorheben. Alles funktionierte reibungslos und unkompliziert. Vielen Dank!

A great location in a brilliant location

This lovely chalet is located in a very quiet cul de sac within 25 mins walk of the centre of Morzine. The chalet is generally spacious although (as per previous reviews) the main shower is extremely small! There is a lovely garden and separate parking area. We would definitely stay there again.

Plenty of space in entrance and living area although not enough soft seating for our group of eight. Only really sofa space for 3 or 4 at a time which isn’t ideal after a tiring day on the slopes. The sauna was great and beds were comfortable. Only two toilets and one of the showers was very small and not suitable for most of our group. Plenty of hot water. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Fantastic chalet with views of mountains and large garden

Excellent chalet very well equipped and very clean and well looked after. Great spot at end of lane away from roads so very safe for the kids to run wild around the property. Very good sized garden for boule and for kids to play in. We ate at the table on the balcony with views of the surrounding mountains watching the paragliders. Owner Denise was great on communications and property manager was very welcoming and helpful. Property is part of the multipass scheme so access to all the summer activities and lifts for 2 euros a day. Had a glorious week here in the summer with so much to do in Morzine and surrounding area.

Ce chùlet réunis toutes les qualités pour des vacances réussis.proche des navettes qui desservent les pistes et proche du centre de morzine skieurs et non skieurs y trouvent leur compte. Le sauna aprÚs une ballade ou une bonne journée de ski réunis tout le monde. L'endroit est bien agencé d'une grande propreté et les propriétaires sont trÚs agréable et professionnels.

Dear madam/sir, We had a very wonderful stay at this chalet. The chalet is very comfortable, there is enough space for 8 persons and the location is perfect. Everything in the chalet is with enough space, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living, and on the ground floor there is a huge garage where you can put your ski equipment/car. There is also a washing machine. The skibus is only 1 minute walk and with the bus it is 5 minutes to the closest skilift (Super Morzine). And about 10 minutes by bus to the other telecabine to the ski area of Morzine/Les Gets. The chalet is perfect for families with children because it is located at the end of a small street, so not nearby a dangerous road, and it has got a beautiful backyard where children can play savely. And for this chalet you don's need a snow chain, because it is a flat road to the chalet.

Chalet situé dans un cul de sac au bord d'une colline trÚs sécurisant lorsque l'on a des enfants ! 10 minutes à pied du centre ville ou navette gratuite au bout du chemin que demander de plus. Chalet trÚs bien exposé, avec grand jardin pour les enfants et les grillades !
