Romantic Getaway with Water & Mt. Baker Views, Private Beach

Permit #96CU031 -The Cypress Cottage has a wonderful view of the water and mountains and access to our private beach. It has a full kitchen, full bath and built in queen size European style alcove box bed.
It has a covered porch, high ceilings with a ceiling fan, wood stove, hardwood floors and a Mission style oak couch with a big comfy leather chair in the corner. There is a TV, DVD, radio, and free wireless internet access on site.
The Cypress Cottage is sited for maximum privacy and seclusion. It is perfect for an individual's retreat or a romantic getaway.
*Please note that that Cypress Cottage is located about 200 feet down a trail from the parking area. It is not suitable for people who are disabled or have limited mobility.

Place was perfect for a week long getaway to start the summer. Great view of the Ocean and a short walk down to the beach.

Orcas Weekend

Wonderful, cozy cottage with amazing views. Perfect for two. We loved the porch and spent mornings there sipping our coffee and enjoying the view, afternoons taking naps and evenings looking at the stars. There are several rentals on the property but the cottages have complete privacy. It's a bit of a walk down to the beach but well worth the visit as there is an unobstructed view of Mt Baker and a gorgeous little cove. Orcas is a gem and has so much to offer: Mt Constitution views (best in the Northwest) and Moran State park, the Artist's Cooperative Gallery, Kayaking, great food and a winery. We are anxious to return and would recommend Cypress Cottage.

Everything about this cottage was excellent...the view, the furnishings, the owners care. I had an opportunity to look at several other Bayside properties during the week....they were varying sizes, all with views and beach access. The architect has created wonderful open flowing spaces, good appliances, excellent furniture and bedding. Each cottage has privacy. Marion

Charming island cottage. Dream vacation.

My stay at bayside cottages was absolutely ideal. I stayed 1 week at the cypress cottage was so great. The perfect little cabin for 1 or 2 people. Everything I needed and nothing more. The view was to die for and being perched up in a hill surrounded by the forest was just incredible. Orcas island is like a fairytale wonderland and I can't wait to return. I will definitely be staying at bayside cottages when I do.
