Overall we had a very nice stay. House needed some cleaning and could use a few updates (dishes, outdoor furniture, cooking items) but the experience was a success.

We had a wonderful stay overall. The neighborhood was quiet, felt very safe, and was conveniently located. Check-in and check-out were both seamless, and the host was responsive and accommodating throughout our visit.The pool was definitely the highlight—we spent a lot of time enjoying it, especially with the beautiful weather. We also loved having the Amazon Dot available for music. It was such a nice touch that we ended up buying one for our own home after the trip!The only area for improvement would be the cleanliness. The home could benefit from a thorough deep cleaning, as there were a few areas that needed more attention. That said, it didn't take away from our overall enjoyment of the stay.We'd be happy to return and would recommend it to others looking for a relaxing getaway.

Slice of paradise

This is our second year staying at this property and we absolutely love it! It’s perfect for our family. Very roomy, clean, view is amazing from the pool and nice and quiet area. Host is amazing at communicating and checking in to make sure everything is going okay. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful home to stay in!

Our 2 week stay was wonderful ❤️

The house was beautiful and clean. Great view of the canal and pool. Half hour from 3 beaches had a wonderful time. The owner was accessible and very friendly. The owner made sure the pool was tested and cleaned. We had a great vacation and will go back

Sunset Paradise Stay

Great floor plan, pool, and view. Windows and exterior could have been cleaner but interior was fine. Enjoyed our Jan - Feb 2023 stay and signed up again for 2024. Thomas was friendly, available and quick to respond when needed.

Perfect!!

The house is very nice and spacious. We loved the lanai and pool. The house had everything we needed, kitchen, paper products, hand soaps. The location was perfect for us, within 1 mile of our daughter and minutes from our favorite beach,Boca. Communication was always timely.

This is a beautiful, spacious home with a well-designed layout. There is an additional toilet in the pool area that is not mentioned in the description, which is a nice bonus.The location is truly outstanding. From both the pool and the living room, you can enjoy views of the intersection of two canals and watch boats passing by. It’s also a great spot for nature lovers—you can observe many birds and regularly see alligators in the canals.The house is conveniently located for visiting nearby beaches. The neighborhood features bike paths and walking trails, making it easy to explore the area on foot or by bicycle.Thomas, the host, responds very quickly to inquiries and was attentive to our needs throughout our stay.We (three adults) thoroughly enjoyed our time in this lovely home.

Spacious and Comfortable

Older but beautiful home in a nice quiet neighborhood. The view of the Lani and the water when you walk in the front door is spectacular. “Alexa” was a very nice touch, especially on the morning of checkout when we told her, “Alexa…turn on the Roomba!” Hopeful to return again…maybe become Snowbirds one day!

Fabulous property/Wonderful host!

You’ll fall in love with this beautiful home and not want to leave! The pool and view was so nice, plenty of space for a family or a few couples, close to several beaches. We went to 4 different beaches during our stay. Ft. Myers was the farthest; around 45 min. There were plenty of towels, dishes and cookware. Thomas made the check in process so easy! Would definitely stay here again!!

A beautiful place to just rest.

The setting is very relaxing. The pool is the perfect place to float and sip you cool beverage. The house is very well maintained. Within a 15 mile radius is plenty of shopping places, restaurants, fast food and fine dining. A short drive away is the beautiful beach. It was a very needy rest from the rush of everyday life. Our family enjoyed the nicely furnished home with the TV's and open room to spread out. I highly recommend the home and owner. A very delightful and excellent experience.

Thankgiving Get Away

Very well Located. Very large home.As with all rental Property it could use a few small things,but over all great. The canal is full of turtles.We caught a least one everyday.. Pool nice we got a lot use of it. If you have a problem Thomas is Johnny on the spot. Very close to some world class beaches and fishing as I brought my boat.

Nice but needs some attention in areas

The house & pool were lovely, however it was not as clean as should be expected. Some of the furniture was stained & torn. The bathrooms were very clean. The outside lanais needed a good power washing. The host was very nice & said he would let his cleaning crew know about my concerns.

Beautiful vacation home

This house was absolutely beautiful. It had everything needed for the perfect vacation. Our son loved the pool. We were able to sit and relax at the many seating areas by the pool while he swam. I was able to be preparing meals and still be able to see him at all times with the beautiful sliding glass walls. The bedrooms, livingroom, kitchen and sitting area are very large and spacious. With all the glass being inside you still feel like you are outside. My husband and son spent a lot of time at the canal fishing and watching the big turtles and alligator swimming around. The location is very quiet and peaceful but still minutes away from stores and beaches. We will definitely be staying here again for future vacations if available.

Lanai sliders had limited availability for use (one side of sliders could not be used/broken), lanai sliding glass doors needed cleaning. Some fixtures in house need repair. Blinds/curtains do not provide adequate privacy at night. Property appears to be occupied when not renting. Canal views were awesome (even spotted a gator or 2). located in very peaceful setting.

Sorry you didn't think your vacation was perfect as that is our goal. We are just finishing up repairs from the hurricaine. Yes one of the sliders was not working. There are however a total of 3 sets of sliders that were functioning 100%. The one malfunctioning slider is scheduled for repair. I do thank you for how you left my home and have provided a 5 rating for you.

Just what the doctor ordered!

The owner and the home/property exceeded our expectations tremendously!!! This listing is exactly what we experienced, paradise! The location was perfect and close to everything! We seriously cannot that Tom enough as my family and I were able to make some amazing memories! We would absolutely stay again and are definitely considering booking again for next year!!

Great Escape from Winter

We had a nice stay away from the cold of New England. Thomas was easy to deal with and we were happy to be able to delay our stay a year due to the pandemic. The house itself was clean but the pool storage closet and pool bathroom were very musty. The furniture is also beginning to show its age. The mattress in the guest room could stand to be replaced and the master is not far behind. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, especially the warm pool and lanai area. We would have returned next year, but the house had already been rented for Feb.

Great Comunicator

Thomas was great he communicated everything to us. He also left a book and things to do places to eat. One small downfall is pots and pans/ Dishes outdated and greasy!

Fantastic home with everything and more

This is our new go to place in Fl. My family & I couldn't have asked for anything more. The kitchen had everything and more. The pool was PERFECT! Tom is a wonderful host, and made us feel right at home. We spent many days at Boca Grande Beach, which is just a short drive. The neighbourhood is very quiet & I felt very safe. We saw the alligator in the canal several times which was a treat for 5-year-old! My husband & I enjoyed sitting by pool early in the morning with the stillness of the canal....such peace & quiet. We can't wait to go back!
