Family Get-a-way

The property was well kept and provided a much needed relaxing few days. Extremely clean so had no concerns. Thankful we were on the 2nd floor even though the beach view was limited due to the long elevator waits during arrival and departure.

We have been coming to this beach for years and it’s the first time I felt the need to tell others. Not a great experience, Phoenix VII building was great, and location is fantastic. The condo wasn’t that great. Toilet in the master bathroom kept running and will not shut off, you have to shake a handle or remove the tank lidPubic hair on the floor in the master bathroom. Master bedroom’s bed was actually two twin mattresses together with an uncomfortable middleNo soap in bathrooms (this is a first for us, we had to go buy it) The coffee maker was half full of coffee with a weird green ring growing in itSand on the counters and floorGlasses put away dirty with what looks like milkshake??WiFi intermittent, "Whitesky" never showed Up on WiFi list. Phoenix 7 did though. We weren't going to call three different numbers (housekeeping, maintenance, WIFi) to address the concerns, we just battled through. We did get an immediate call regarding the toilet because they thought it was leaking but as far as the housekeeping issues, we received a very sincere text that just simply said “sorry for the issues”. If you’re looking for a place, Phoenix seven is great, but pass on this condo and Beach Getaways.

Bed had dip in it

Overall, the trip was great. the only issue was the first bedroom had a dip in the bed. So, that made it a little uncomfortable to sleep.

Super busy building

The Condo building was so packed and elevators where always packed. The condo could use some deep cleaning. The washing machine was very dirty. The pool was right outside. Which was very noisy during the day if you are wanting to take a nap. We had a problem with noise at the pool past 10pm and the security really didn't help. The property manager did help the problem.

The property could use an update.

The condo is stocked with dishes, pots/pans, and utensils. The location is great in the area and the complex. Most times we didn’t even use the elevator. The balcony door wouldn’t close, we called on Sunday morning and again on Tuesday. Someone came to “fix” it on Tuesday. But it still didn’t stay closed and we had a crane working next door so we had a problem watching TV in the living room. The dishwasher is so loud you can only use it when you going to be out for a while. The couch cushions are very flat and need to be replaced. But overall we had an awesome time and will return!

1999 model

The location is ok for Orange Beach. The pictures in the ad are of the place before it got old. The bedding and couch are brown and yellow from age and the 2nd bedroom door won’t shut unless you shove the bed into the wall each time. Outside, the cookie out in the hallway floor was there when I got there and there when I left four days later. This unit is a coveted lower floor unit right above the pool but it’s nowhere near the pool if you are walking. The host ignored my texts through the app entirely.

Perfect location

We had stayed at a different property 4 nights. That home was wonderful, however the experience was not. We decided to get an extra night and I was able to book this place late the night before we checked in. It was a perfect location, home was a little bit older and needed a little work, shower door off track, screen door off track, little things, but overall the property was beautiful and would definitely book again.
