Thank you for the review Alan, there are currently water shortages in all of Andalucia with local cities and towns turning off water at specific times. Showers have completely been turned off at most beaches for example. I do have a 1000 litre emergency water deposit on the roof for such times.

Thank you for your great comments! We always enjoy it when guests have a great times, especially with young children. I must report that the house was left in a very clean condition. The guests showed great respect throughout their stay.

The problem that you suffered with noisy dogs can be explained. It is not normal. Although we are a little surprised by the comments having been told during the stay 'how peaceful' it was. The problem was completely out of hands when the main transformer in Moron de la Frontera caught on fire due to over-heating! There were 4 towns without electric from 7:30am - 9:00pm, however we did our best by running our back-up generator, giving electric to the villa at 11:00am. No mains electric unfortunately means no mains water. Once the biggest issue was resolved and we were back running on mains electric albeit through a temporary supply, further shorter power cuts ensued whilst the new main transformer was being fitted. This loss of power and further power cuts caused the locals to return to their homes in Sevilla, leaving their dogs alone. Obviously stressed, there were a couple of dogs barking although we didn’t find it to be obtrusive (the closest dogs are over 100 metres away). The guests only mentioned it on the second to last day. The electric cuts and the storms didn't help in any way regards the dogs, which are not neighbouring. Most surrounding plots are holiday homes used by locals in the summer periods only. Some don’t arrive until August meaning some plots look uninhabited but they are not. We can only apologise for the loss of electric and water, as we did at the time of your stay.

Review of guests: 1) Arrived to a welcome pack and bottle of wine - first message was to moan about the lack of parasol even though there is ample and various places of shade - no thank you for the welcome pack and wine at all! 2) Had an issue with the air-con in the lounge so a neighbour arrived within an hour so resolve the issue (show them how it works) and they phoned me shouting at me that the neighbour only speaks Spanish - the villa is located in Seville, Spain. 3) There are 2 swimming pool ladders and 1 set of steps into the pool which you can see in the photos - which have been fine for the last 10 years and were not an issue for these guests for over a week until one of the women slipped using the steps - so it was "my fault" for incorrect and non-compliant steps. 4) Phoned me more than once SHOUTING - "the internet isn't working" - "oh, it is" NO APOLOGY FOR SCREAMING AND SHOUTING. **Gate opens, shuts and locks perfectly. **Swimming pool ladders and steps and specific for swimming pools (see photos). **Air-conditioning is the latest inverter model (see photos). **Dishwasher is less than 2 years old. **All mattresses fit the beds. **The cord on the blind had fallen out of the hole - took me 30 seconds to repair. **Boules are located in the games cupboard - didn't ask for them. **Wooden patio table is old - perhaps needs changing but there are two, one is newer and made of metal. Basically the worst guests I have had in 8 years, however they were still treated the same as anyone else. I always responded within the hour but I guess some people are impossible to please.

José Miguel no es una perona realista. El dicha que you tenia que quitar todos los libros, adornos etc de la casa por Covid. Y la piscina debe ser alicatado. Se quejó cuando no había girasoles plantados en los campos colindantes.
