A Week in Provonce

The property is excellant and exactly as described. Location wise it is perfect, with just a short walk you are at the centre of Nimes. As a base for the region you are a short drive from Arles, Pont du Gard and Avignon. Contact with the host was great and we'd definitely recommend a stay.

Perfect Property for Us

This home was by far the most well equipped that we have ever stayed in. The space is large with plenty of beds and baths for visiting friends and incredibly convenient to the old town parts of Nimes - only a 6 minute walk to the central Maison Carre Square. Our hosts were fabulous and quite efficient and helpful. In short, we loved it.

Nous étions en famille, cette maison est vraiment la maison de famille par excellence. Pour 3 couples les espaces nuit et salle de bain sont très bien agencés et l intimité de chacun est préservée. Elle est très bien équipée et décorée avec goût,et surtout très confortable. La piscine sécurisée est facile d'accès et à proximité de la maison, ce qui favorise la surveillance et les échanges. Sa localisation est exceptionnelle, au centre de Nîmes tout est accessible à pied. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison.

Excellent property with a small oasis of tranquility

Just back from a 2 week break where we spent 10 days in this wonderful property. We could not ask for more. So near to everything Nimes has to offer yet an oasis of tranquility and privacy. The property is fully equipped with all the things you would need during your stay. The pool is just perfect after a hot day sightseeing. The pinball machine was a nice extra which provided additional fun entertainment to the 4 of us and we appreciated the daily “greetings” from the chatty property cat “Acu” (hope I got the name correct) which made us smile everyday. The use of the garage was also a plus as you will find parking in Nimes challenging (note there is only room for one car). The best thing of all was our lovely host, Sophie, who could not be more hospitable and was always on hand to answer any questions we may have had. Despite our limited language skills, between us we always found a way to understand each other and with a smile. Thank you Sophie and family for letting us borrow your wonderful house.

Great house, fabulous city

We spent a wonderful week in Sophie's lovely house. Nîmes is a cultural gem - easy to walk round and lots of interesting Roman remains and museums. Some excellent restaurants too. We had a lovely lunch in the Ímperateur courtyard - very reasonably priced given the standard of the hotel. Sophie and her family welcomed us warmly and were generous with their time . We shall return !

Parfaite maison en plein centre de Nimes

Cette location nous a permis un séjour de très grand repos. Elle est hyper confortable, la piscine a une taille largement suffisante. Le jardin est très arboré. Elle se situe à deux pas de la maison carrée et du cœur de Nîmes, est accessible à pied de la gare Nîmes centre. Enfin, l'accueil était charmant. C'était parfait. Merci

Quel beau souvenir

Nous avons adoré cette maison au charme d antan belle bâtisse méditerranéenne ou l on se sent de suite bien...la maison possède une belle âme remplit De musique (merci au piano et le traitement musicale de chaque pièce) et de peintures d une vraie artiste . Les enfants ont adores celle ci souhaitant l emporter sur Paris... La piscine est agréable...les deux patios relaxant...et chacun trouva son coin de lecture ou son coin d inspiration ..au détour d une partie de flipper...une belle rencontre qu on aurait aimé plus longue ...merci caroline

Maison extrêmement agréable avec jardin et piscine. Ce jardin est particulièrement convivial. La maison est vaste, chaleureuse et génère la joie de vivre, très confortable et calme. J'y ai séjourné avec des amis Australiens en juillet 2013 et je tenais a faire un commentaire et a remercier les propriétaires pour leur accueil et leurs conseils. Cette région est réellement ma préférée en France. De la maison il y a de grandes possibilités de visites et d'activités . J'espère y retourner l'année prochaine.
