A Very Special Stay

Our host Louis ensured we were well taken care, before and during our stay, which was nearly 3 weeks. The apartment itself was fully equipped with everything one might need-it was very comfortable and light and bright with the big windows in the front providing spectacular views of the water. The balcony was a wonderful plus so we could enjoy the start to every day with our coffee and enjoy the beautiful view from outside. The area of the beach directly in front of the apartment is ground zero for an array of water sports-sailing, surfing, swimming, wind sailing, kite surfing, water walking-you name it! And the tidal views were incredibly dynamic-every day was its own unique experience. Saint Malo itself was charming and a delightful walk along the boardwalk; it took about 40 easy minutes to get to the walled town. Very safe neighborhood with access to local restaurants, boulangeries (yum), and grocery stores (with many wine, cheese & fresh food choices)- all within easy walking distance. Parking right next to the building and this location was perfect for day trips to many wonderful sites in Brittany and Normandy. Overall, the VRBO site cannot begin to describe or show with photos what a fantastic stay anyone could have here-especially in this comfortable apartment and in this location. Thanks Louis for a perfect visit!

Magnifique vue mer

Vaste appartement avec un excellent emplacement et superbe vue sur mer avec accès direct à la plage. Jolie décoration, l’appartement mériterait une rénovation pour être remis aux goûts du jour mais il reste trés confortable et bien équipé. Convient bien pour 8 personnes.Nous recommandons fortement et reviendrons avec plaisir. Seul petit bémol, les vitres face à la plage étaient assez sales à notre arrivée ce qui est dommage pour bien profiter de cette vue magnifique (mais avec la proximité avec les embruns, on imagine bien qu’elles se ressalissent trés vite…). Nous avons bien profité du spectacle des grandes marées malgré cela :-).

Wir haben die unmittelbare Nähe zum Meer sehr genossen. Traumhafter Blick auf den Strand, in einer halben Stunde bei gemütlichem Laufen in Intra Muros, sonst geht es auch bequem und schnell mit dem Bus. Sonnenuntergang vom Logenplatz aus zu betrachten.

Séjour sympathique à st malo

Malgré une literie qui n’était pas à notre convenance nous avons passé un séjour fantastique. L’appartement très spacieux a répondu à tous nos critères et nous avons particulièrement apprécié la magnifique vue mer du salon et des chambres. Nous avons également noté que cette location est très bien équipée et nous n’avons manqué de rien ! Adresse à conserver pour un éventuel nouveau séjour en famille ou pour une cure au grand hôtel des Thermes se trouvant à 8 min à pieds.

Tolle Aussicht!

Sehr schön gelegene Ferienwohnung direkt am Strand. Bäcker und Supermarkt nur ein paar Meter entfernt. In Sachen Einrichtung ist alles vorhanden was man so braucht. Ein Spaziergang am Strand führt entweder nach St. Malo Altstadt, oder in die andere Richtung in ein Naturschutzgebiet mit Wanderwegen.

Grand appartement et super emplacement

Deux couples d’amis, nous avons passé une semaine superbe dans ce grand appartement très bien équipé. En front de mer avec vue imprenable sur la mer et St Malo. Le déchaînement des vagues au marée haute était un vrai spectacle. Beaucoup plus agréable que de séjourner au centre ville, une petite marche pour y aller fait du bien. Marchés et magasins de qualité à proximité (à pied). Pas de ‘vrai’ four (mixe non encastré) mais suffisamment grand pour y cuire un chapon de 3.5kg pour le réveillon! Un grand lit de 160cm très confortable, mais le deuxième grand lit de 140cm est un peu juste. Je recommande sans hésitation et j’imagine déjà des vacances avec la famille dans cet appartement.
