The daytime and sunset views from the lanai are stunning and after dusk when the Tiki lights are lit, the garden pool glows from below in a beautiful array of colors. The kitchen and bathroom have been upgraded with granite counter-tops and modern appliances. There is an extra large flat screen TV for your enjoyment. Kaanapali Shores 742 is stocked with all the comforts of home. All you have to do is pack your bags and come on over!

The Kaanapali Resort is located on the World Famous Kaanapali Beach which has been voted the Best Beach in the World by Conde de Neste Magazine for several years in a row. The location is prime! Here, you are steps away from the water and there are restaurants, grocery shopping, souvenir shops, a nail salon, and much more located across the street. It is also a short drive away from Kapalua Bay and Napili Bay.

The Garden Pool has been renovated with an array of fun features including a new hot tub, multi-color LED lighting at night, waterfalls, tropical garden and other aquatic features. Enjoy a refreshing drink at the new Ocean Pool bar before spending a relaxing afternoon poolside. BBQs are provided for your outdoor cooking pleasure. But it is the fabulous Kaanapali Beach that keeps guests coming back year after year! Come experience this amazing venue for yourself.

Had a wonderful stay. View is as advertised, while not right on the water, it is visible over the buildings in front. Binoculars are helpful but not need to see whale spouts and breaches in the distance. Resort pools and restaurant, while not as luxurious as some of the other more expensive hotels, were very nice. Only critique would be that room 742 was advertised as a king bed and we would not consider this accurate, so if you truly need a king bed, then this unit does not currently fit that bill. Overall, would definitely stay here, especially in whale season.

Anniversary Trip to Maui

We had previously stayed at this resort 5 years ago (at a different unit) so we knew the lay of the land and the area and wanted to return. The location is truly great because restaurants, food trucks and grocery store are within walking distance. When we arrived at the condo, the door code did not work. This made us a little nervous at first because we had groceries with us that needed to be put into the refrigerator. We texted the property manager and within minutes he sent us a new code. So that was a relief! We entered and found things "OK". but there was a few things that were obvious that house keeping seriously missed. We decided to ask the property manager to have the quilt/coverlet on the bed changed out since there appeared to have been blood along with a few other stains on it. He replied again quickly and said he would have someone come take care of it immediately. We think he came personally to change it out because within a half of an hour he came knocking on the door with a new quilt. Very much appreciated! Again, there were a few other items that did need some attention but we chose to not even bother with those things because we truly just wanted to enjoy our stay and relax as we had traveled almost 24 hours to get there. The pictures on the listing do not show the beautiful view from the balcony well enough. It was so nice and was probably our favorite spot. Overall- a great stay and the property manager was very accommodating

Amazing vacation at a perfect location.

We totally enjoyed our stay at this amazing location. The grounds were so beautiful with the sounds of birds and the plants. The pool especially the garden pool is so beautiful and tranquil. The restaurant on site is very convenient. Has the best pool size smoothies for kids and adults. The beach out front is good for boogie boarding and also snorkeling with amazing sunsets. We were really sad to have to leave and go home.

Awesome place

This was a wonderful place to stay while we explored Maui. The condo was comfortable, and the garden pool was our favorite. I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Great property over all! Only a few issues we had, the shower water only works at certain points and you must turn it a few times before it will come out hot. There’s lots of dead spots. The AC kicks in really hard during the day and then during the night shuts off so you wake up really hot. Over all tho we would stay again. The pools are great and you can walk to the beach. The room it’s self met our needs so we were happy

Awesome stay

Great view of the ocean and mountains and clean room with all necessary amenities. TV was a little finicky but we got it working, overall a pleasant stay here and enjoyed our vacation.

Great property with convenient access to many activities

The property was just as described. Very convenient to Kaanapali beach as well as some of our favorite snorkeling locations a little further north. The pools and on site amenities were very nice and there was a fabulous local craft fair on site while we were there. Got some very nice gifts to bring home The only complaint is that the mattress was not very comfortable. Might be time for a new one.

The property was in a very nice hotel which was very clean and well managed. The management company who managed the property answered all my e-mails and were very helpful throughout the whole process. My whole family stayed in the condo,we were two adults and my two children slept on the pullout couch. It was a pretty thick mattress and pretty comfortable. There was and a full kitchen which we used all the time. Everything you needed was supplied at the condo. We all enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend the condo.

Loved the property and location, and would stay again. Did not like the unit itself, and would not rebook this unit. The location is awful, next to the garbage and recycle bins which woke us up every morning. The seals on the sliding doors were broken and you can hear everything, all night long, and we were left with one small soap bar, for 3 people, 6 nights. I own two VRBOs and I would never leave my clients with no soap.

Perfect getaway!

Check-in was very simple and easy with no hassle. A great room with a stunning overlook of the ocean. Cleanliness wasn’t an issue. Only issue was the AC unit did not function properly. Overall it was a great stay for the perfect getaway!
