Welcome to Pipe Dream West

Check out our new beach-front duplex in Fort Morgan. We are located 15 miles from Highway 59 in a private beach community on the historic Fort Morgan peninsula. The house is on miles of residential beach, but only minutes from all the excitement of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach.

Be sure to check the east side of the home at 629465 if this side is booked or you are interested in renting both sides.

Enjoy our home with almost 1700 square feet of living space per unit. With 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, this unit accommodates 8 people in comfort. We have a soundproof wall between the units with an interior door that connects them - ideal if you're renting the entire home.

It is family-owned and managed and was designed with all the comforts of home in mind.

Living area:
The living area looks out over the Gulf and opens to the large deck through the 9 foot sliding door. The living room has a Sofa/Hide-A-Bed, 2 recliners and a bench seat plus a 60-inch TV, DVD player and Bluetooth stereo.

Kitchen and dining area:
The fully-equipped kitchen offers all the conveniences of home. With service for 12, you will find everything you need to serve up a great meal and the pantry closet offers plenty of room for a week's worth of groceries. The dining area has seating for 8 at the table and 4 stools at the breakfast bar.

Laundry area:
The laundry closet upstairs has a full-size/front load washer/dryer with hanging rods and ample shelving for storage.

Bedrooms:
All bedrooms have a private bathroom and HD T.V.s with DVD players. The master suite has a king size bed, desk and a walk-out to a private beach-front balcony. The 2nd bedroom (upstairs) has 2 queen beds, separate closets and an ocean view. The 3rd bedroom, located on the main floor, has a queen bed and windows overlooking the street.

Outside:
Outside you will find parking for 4 cars on our paved parking area, two grills and a place to dine in the shade under the center of the building. The unit has covered stairs leading to a private entryway and the deck has a 6-foot shared walkway to the beautiful white sand beaches. The deck has an 8x16 ft divided area opening to a 12x 32 shared area ideal for groups.

Family Spring Break 2025

We absolutely loved Pipe Dream West. The house is beautifully decorated and well stocked for a perfect vacation. The house is right on the beach, but it was not crowded. We woke up every morning to the sound of the waves and sunshine. Our communication with the owner Dave was great too!. We look forward to staying here again soon!

My family consisted of me, my wife, kids (ages 2 and 4), and grandparents. This house was perfect for that size family! But if you have a larger family, the other unit could be rented as well, which is connected by adjoining doors that can be unlocked from both sides to create internal access from one unit to the other. I cannot say enough about the location! It's about a 20-minute drive into the busy streets, restaurants, and entertaining of the primary area of Gulf Shores. A very easy and worthwhile drive to enjoy the quiet and wide-open beaches of Fort Morgan. We came for spring break in mid-March (not quite peak season yet), and we literally had as much of the beach to ourselves right in front of the house that we could possibly ask for. Just down the beach a couple hundred yards is a public access point, but none of those people dared drag all their beach stuff down towards us. I suspect that during peak season there would be a few more people spreading out, but I still cannot see how they would spread out that far and end up overcrowding in front of this property. We will definitely be back!The amenities are perfect! Full kitchen. Bathrooms are nice, clean, and updated. Beds are comfortable and spacious. Seating both indoor and outdoor is plentiful. There are 4 storage bins at the end of the boardwalk that is fully stocked with beach toys, balls, boogie boards, beach chairs (various sizes), and umbrellas. Wow! Book this property now!

What a Dream!!!

My husband and I take his parents (ages 82 & 83) to Fort Morgan annually and this was our first time to stay in the Pipe Dream West. The house gets 5 Stars, two thumbs up and an A+!! The house was decorated so cute. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck, our “private” beach front and the neighbors staying in Pipe Dream East were delightful! We look forward to returning in October 2025!

Perfect Spring Break

We had never been to Fort Morgan beach before, but we will definitely be coming back! The house was just what we needed and absolutely LOVED that it was not crowded on the beach. Pipedream lived up to it's name!

We rented the West 1/2 of the house and our daughter and her family rented the East side. It was a beautiful place to spend our spring vacation and get away from the cold grasp of winter in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable and fun week on the beautiful Gulf Shores. Loved every minute!

Great duplex, great BEACHFRONT location!

We took a family trip and stayed here. It was a perfect fit for our family which included adults and small children. The house had everything we needed and then some! Loved that every room had their own bathroom plus an extra half bath in the common area. The owner had tubs of beach equipment at the end of the deck with chairs, floats, plastic swimming pools, goggles, nets, sand toys, beach umbrellas and more that we were able to use. Overall a great vacation! Would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is perfect being right on the beach. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. We rented both sides and the interior door linking the units was great. Would stay here again!

A piece of Heaven on Earth. If one loves the ocean, this is the place. Such a jewel. Our granddaughter is 5 and it was her first time seeing the ocean. So magical and this property was excellent ❤️ A vacationers dream stay because everything was excellent!!!

Autumn on the beach

Four Friends for years but now living far apart, we met in Nashville and headed south to Alabama: First stop: Helen Keller’s birthplace;Next we took in civil rights sites. Our final destination was Fort Morgan. It was great to experience this beautiful new place together. The beach in autumn is wonderful. We explored the historic fort (must see!) but spent most of our days walking the beach snd swimming. Each evening in our ocean-themed living room was time for sharing our lives. We heard about the sorrows and joys of each one having lived 7 decades on this earth. God’s been good to keep us, often miraculously, through thick and thin. The drama of our generations will go on, and now we are refreshed and ready for the next season of life. Our stay at Pipe Dream exceeded our expectations! Thanks.

My wife, Brenda, and I own and operate a small fishing resort in Chetek, Wisconsin. We have been fortunate enough to visit Gulf Shores in the winter for the past 10 years. Eight years ago we stayed in a beach house on Beach Boulevard just 12 doors down from our new home. Every night we would walk the beach and talk about how nice it would be to someday have a place right here. We loved the feeling of a neighborhood on the beach with beautiful views and wide open spaces. No other place in Gulf Shores ever seemed so right to us. With a lot of effort, the help of an economic downturn and a partnership with my mother and sister's family, we have made the dream come true. We will use this house as our own in the off season, which will enable us to keep it in top condition. We are going to manage it ourselves because we want to offer a personal touch. We want to know about the things people like and the things they don't, so we can continually improve our home and make it right for you. This is our dream...
