Amazing

From the kindness of the owners, to the beautiful property this stay was amazing. We got lost on our way in and ended up dropping at a random gas station - the property owner was amazing and came and found us and lead us in. Our Internet went out and the owners were so helpful in guiding us on how to possibly resolve it and then offered to reimburse any cost associated. It was incredible. They offered support on local 'things to do' and made themselves fully available to us throughout the stay without being overbearing. Thank you so much! We look forward to coming back.

Amazing value and views near Rome

Our family made this beautiful property “home base” while visiting Rome. Views are tremendous. Hosts are very communicative and left us a wonderful welcome gift. Car rental from Termini to property 45 mins (but plan on an hour + with traffic when returning). Quick drive to the nearby town for any provisions. To get to and from Rome, we drove to the train station (Piana Bella Di Montelibretti), about 20 minutes away and parked the car for ease of travel within Rome on the Metro. Train ride is approximately 30 minutes and Metro to most sites anywhere from 10-20 mins on average. Property has decent provisions for cooking meals at home. Couldn’t get coffee maker to work, but decided to buy our own Italian coffee maker so it ended up being totally fine. Note for digital nomads: although this property has a bus stop on the map right in front of the property, it is 100% car dependent and WiFi is not the strongest.

Ein perfekter Ort für Ruhe und Entspannung

Wir haben diese eine Woche sehr genossen. Wir hatten eine Hälfte des Hauses gemietet, aber das komplette Gelände für uns alleine, somit auch den Pool. Tatsächlich wird wohl entweder das komplette Haus vermietet oder nur eine Wohneinheit. So ist man immer ungestört und trifft nicht auf andere Gäste. Da wir nur zu viert waren, haben wir die kleinere Wohneinheit gewählt und hatten somit direkt eine Terrasse mit einem grandiosen Blick vor unserer Tür. Der Sonnenuntergang beim Abendessen war einfach unschlagbar. Cristina und Adriano waren wirklich tolle Gastgeber und standen rund um die Uhr per WhatsApp zur Verfügung für Fragen oder Anliegen. Jedoch brauchten wir das nicht in Anspruch nehmen. Zur Begrüßung gab es sogar ein kleines Willkommensgeschenk. Wer Ruhe mag und sich abseits des Trubels bewegen möchte, ist hier absolut richtig. Leider ist in dem Dorf auf dem kleinen Hügel so gut wie gar nichts los. Wer hier also ein bisschen flanieren möchte und abends ein Getränk zu sich nehmen möchte, muss eher mit dem Auto in einen anderen Ort fahren, der größer ist. Lediglich dafür gibt es einen Punktabzug. Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen von Lebensmitteln sind allerdings in unmittelbarer Nähe da. Ansonsten haben wir den wundervollen Tipp von Cristina und Adriano bekommen, mit dem Auto zum Bahnhof von Monterontondo zu fahren, um dort den Zug nach Rom zu nehmen. Das hat sich absolut bewährt und in Italien kostet Zugfahren so gut wie gar nichts. Auf jeden Fall diesen Tipp berücksichtigen.

Hallo Melanie, danke für deine schönen Worte. Ehrlich gesagt sind wir jedoch enttäuscht, dass wir einen Punkt verloren haben, weil dir Palombara nicht gefallen hat. Es handelt sich um ein mittelalterliches Dorf mit etwas mehr als 10.000 Einwohnern, das sich in einer strategischen Lage befindet, um Rom zu besuchen, ohne das Chaos der Metropole. Es ist klar, dass man dort, wo es ruhig ist, kein großes Nachtleben erwarten kann... in jedem Fall liegt es nicht an uns, daher sind wir der Meinung, dass die Bewertung ein bisschen "engherzig" ist. Ich wünsche dir und Familie einen weiteren schönen Sommer!

Wunderbare Lage in großem Abstand zu Straßen oder Nachbarn, ungewöhnl. großer, sehr sauberer Pool, herrlicher Blick, durch Höhenlage auch bei Hitze angenehmer Luftzug, gute Lage für Ausflüge überall in Latium.

Tolles Objekt kurz vor Rom

Das originelle Haus liegt in toller Lage auf einem Hügel inmitten alter Olivenbäume. Es ist architektonisch sehr ansprechend renoviert. Das Haus spricht für sich. Für uns fünf war sehr viel Platz. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und haben uns bei Fragen schnell geholfen (z.B. Fahrt nach Rom) . Im Garten befindet sich ein großer Pool, in welchem man auch als Schwimmer auf seine Kosten kommt. Toll war für unsere Kinder auch die Tischtennis Platte und ein Kicker. Mit dem Rad waren wir in wenigen Minuten ins Dorf/Städtchen geradelt. Dort gibt es viele Cafés, Supermarkt...

Urlaub in traumhafter Lage

Das weitläufige Grundstück bietet viele Orte zum Entspannen: Swimmingpool, Hängematte, Liegen, Schaukel, Brunnen... Der Rundumblick über die Landschaft ist atemberaubend. In 15 min ist man am Parkplatz des Bahnhofs Piana Bella di Montelibretti für die Züge nach Rom. Cristina und Adriano sind sehr freundliche sympathische Vermieter, die für alle Fragen ein offenes Ohr haben. Ist man einmal auf diesem Hügelparadies gewesen, möchte man immer wieder zurückkehren.

Wonderful house!

What a wonderful house! Every little detail is just perfect. The combination of the materials in dialogue with the incoming light is a pleasure for the eye. Paradise!

The most perfect place to stay outside Rome. The property was clean, modern and stylish with everything you need provided, including air conditioning and pool! The location was incredible; peaceful, with amazing views of the countryside, olive trees everywhere and within easy reach of a town with all amenities. Finally Adriano and Christina were the most wonderful hosts; from local advice on where to eat or visit to the freshly baked cake gifted to us on arrival. All in all a truly wonderful place. We will definitely return!

Ein besonderes Domizil mit einzigartigem Rundblick

Wir wohnten in beiden Wohnungen zu 8 Erw + 3 Kleinkindern, so war es möglich, zusammen zu essen und zu kochen und Spaß im Pool zu haben, da sowohl die Räume im Haus als auch der Garten sehr geräumig sind und viel Platz für alle lassen. Ein empfehlenswerter Ort für Gruppen. Man hört die Straße in Entfernung von den Ostfenstern her, ansonsten ist man ganz für sich, da die sehr netten Vermieter in Rom leben.

Very nice holidays!

We were very warm welcomed. The house is very nice and clean. It has a fantastic view and a wonderful garden. The swimmingpool is huge, the kids loved it! It is no problem to reach the centre of Rome, with car or with train. We had really happy holidays. Thank you!

Séjour de rêve dans un cadre magnifique

Nous venons de passer presque 3 semaines dans cette maison paradisiaque ! La Casetta, nichée dans un parc extraordinaire, au sommet d'une colline, nous a permis de profiter, tout au long de notre séjour, de la vue imprenable à l'horizon et de superbes couchers de soleil. On ne s'en lasse jamais ! Quel calme, quelle douceur de vivre, un endroit idéal pour se ressourcer. La maison est parfaitement équipée, décorée avec beaucoup de goût, rien ne manque. La piscine est géniale et extrêmement bien entretenue. Adriano et Cristina nous ont réservé un super accueil, accompagné d'attentions toutes plus gentilles les unes que les autres (gâteau, vin, fruits, etc). Un grand merci pour leur disponibilité de tous les instants. Grâce à eux, nous avons passé des vacances inoubliables dans cette belle région du Latium où il y a tant à découvrir ! Nous reviendrons avec le plus grand des plaisirs.

Petit coin de paradis

Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse dans ce petit coin de paradis. Si vous aimez la nature, les petits déjeuners en terrasse avec une vue à couper le souffle, les maisons d'architectes, les grandes piscines... et les impressions d'être seul sur terre... alors cette villa est pour vous!! Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir!! De plus l'accueil de Cristina et Adriano est formidable et Cristina parle couramment le français. A quelques kilomètres de Rome, c'est la villa parfaite...

Heerlijke uitvalsbasis

We boekten dit huis als uitvalsbasis voor bezoekjes aan Rome. Het huis is zó prettig, dat je na een paar uur Rome al weer verlangt om terug te keren. Smaakvol ingericht, waanzinnig panorama, prachtig groot zwembad. Het huis ligt op een heuveltop, omgeven door olijfbomen, oleanders en fruitbomen. Je zit een uur buiten Rome tussen de Italianen. We hebben er in een week geen buitenlands nummerbord gezien.

Vacances magnifiques dans un cadre paradisiaque !

Tout est magnifique chez Adriano et Cristina : l'accueil (avec les attentions de Cristina), la maison (décorée avec goût), son cadre (le très joli jardin, la vue à 180°, ...), rien ne manque (même pas la climatisation qui est bien agréable la nuit) ! Et puis quel bonheur en revenant de Rome (30mn en train à partir de Pinabella de Montelibreti pour 2,10€/pers.) le soir d'aller plonger dans la piscine pour se rafraîchir ou de se mettre en terrasse à écouter les cigales en regardant le coucher de soleil. En plus, de nombreuses visites sont possibles à l'Est de Rome et en particulier la ville de Tivoli qu'il ne faut pas manquer (Villa d'Este, Ville Adriana). Alors merci à Adriano et Cristina de faire partager ce cadre idyllique et de nous permettre de visiter Rome et sa région dans de telles conditions. Elisabeth, Dominique, Axel et Téo Ligugé ( France)

Highly recommended

The description contained in the listing about the location and services offered was very accurate. The property is exceptionally clean and well kept and we had an excellent holiday. The owners are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. We would recommend this property to a friend or relative. The swimming pool is large and was cleaned regularly during our stay. There are spectacular views from the property. We found some good local restaurants and bought great fish and meat to barbecue. We were in Palombara Sabina in time for the annual cherry festival which involved stalls lining the winding streets, a marching band with flag throwers and majorettes, plus locals in traditional costume, followed by a live band and fireworks around midnight. The rest of the time the town was fairly quiet except for a market on Wednesdays. We enjoyed trips to Rome - Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Colloseum - and Tivoli - Villa Adriano, Villa D'Este and Villa Gregoriana.

Christina, Adriano, Je vous adresse à tous les deux, au nom de tous les miens et de ceux qui ont eu le loisir de venir nous visiter lors de notre séjour chez vous, nos plus chaleureuses félicitations et remerciements pour votre qualité d'accueil et toutes les prévenances que vous nous avez prodigué durant notre séjour. Nous avons quitté ce havre de paix et de quiétude à grands regrets pour retourner vers les terres "froides" du Nord de la France. L'aménagement de ce site, intérieur et extérieur est réellement extrêmement soigné, agréable tant à l'oeil qu'' au niveau pratique. Magnifique location au calme proche de Rome

• nous avons passé un magnifique séjour. Cette propriété est superbe. La piscine, les oliviers, les petits coins aménagés, les couchers de soleil chaque fois différents. • La situation est parfaite : pas loin de Rome, d’Ostia, de Tivoli. Des possibilités de randonnées à VTT et à pieds géniales et le village tout près avec tout ce qu’il faut. • Et surtout : merci à vous pour votre gentillesse, les multiples conseils, l’accueil et l’aide rapide pour le remplacement du frigo. • Et j’oublie les chambres confortables et la climatisation qui rend les nuits parfaites lorsqu’il fait chaud. Et le temps s'arrête...

Un autre monde, une autre vie, un endroit où il n'y a de place que pour le bonheur, le bien-être, la paix intérieure. Des propriétaires accueillants et chaleureux, une demeure intrigante et intemporelle, la vue, les arbres fruitiers, le hamac sous la vigne, la piscine immense, la décoration intérieure, tout est réuni pour mettre nos sens en émoi. Si on ajoute à ça la facilité pour rejoindre Rome, Tivoli,...et la serviabilité et la gentillesse des Italiens, alors c'est sans nul doute les plus belles vacances de notre vie. Dana, Thomas, François et Valérie vous remercient pour ces précieux souvenirs. En espérant avoir la chance de revenir dans cet endroit idyllique. Bonne continuation.

Erholung pur!

Wir haben es sehr genossen! Wir haben in der Cassetta 10 Tage verbracht. Die Villa hat ein sehr schönes Grundstück mit zahlreichen ruhigen Erholungsecken wie Hängematte und Co. Was uns besonders gefallen hat war der Ausblick, den man bei jeder Mahlzeit draußen genießen durfte. Man hat von dort (insbesondere vom Pool) einen schönen Ausblick auf Palombara Sabina und sonst einen 180°-Panorama Blick auf das Land. Der Pool wird alle zwei Tage gereinigt und sonst ist alles sehr schön eingerichtet. Für Einkäufe ist in ca. 2 km Entfernung in Palombara gesorgt (Supermärkte, Obst- und Gemüsehändler, großer Markt am Mittwoch). Wir haben dort sogar eine Apotheke gefunden, in der die Mitarbeiterin Deutsch sprach. Auch nach Rom kommt man von Palombara ohne Auto problemlos mit Bus und Bahn. Bei Orientierungsproblemen sind die Leute dort sehr hilfsbereit. (Tagestickets für 8 € für Zug und Metro gibt's im Kiosk). Vor Ort gibt es auch Wandermöglichkeiten z.B. zu einer Burgruine. Im Großen und Ganzen ein seht schöner gelungener Urlaub und vor allen Dingen auch ein sehr netter Kontakt!

Urlaubstraum bei Rom

Schon zum dritten Mal haben wir im Sul Colle Ende Mai 2015 eine Woche unserer Ferien verbracht. Die Ruhe, der Ausblick, die unvergleichlichen Sonnenuntergänge mit den glitzernden Lichtern der Ausläufer von Rom, die hügelige liebliche Landschaft, das riesige Grundstück auf dessen sanftem Hügel das schöne Anwesen steht - was will man mehr von einem Urlaub? In den ruhigen schönen großen klimatisierten Schlafzimmern findet man erholsamen Schlaf. Den Tag kann man am riesigen Pool verbringen, auch hier ist der Ausblick auf Palombara und die umliegenden Orte beeindruckend. Liegen, Sonnenschirm, BBQ, lauschige schattige und sonnige Sitzplätze rund ums Haus..... Jeder findet hier - auch in einer größeren Gruppe - seinen ruhigen eigenen Platz oder zum Spielen mit Kindern - zum Beispiel beim Fußballspielen auf einem eigenen hergerichteten Areal mit Fußballtoren. Eine neue Pergola vor der kleineren Wohnung ist entstanden - ein wunderschöner Sitzplatz zum Träumen und miteinander Essen, Wein trinken, reden.... Cristina und Adriano sind jederzeit erreichbar und bereit, in kürzester Zeit von Rom zu kommen, wenn man sie braucht. Schön, ist, dass man das Haus immer für sich allein hat und so die totale Privatsphäre im Urlaub gewährleistet ist. Rom ist gut zu erreichen - in einer guten dreiviertel Stunde, aber auch die umliegenden Orte wie Monte Celio oder Montelibretti, Moricone etc bieten für den Entdecker und Kulturinteressierten reizvolle Gassen, mittelalterliche Türme und leckere Einkehrmöglichkeiten. In Palombara Sabina, das auch zu Fuß erreicht werden kann, ist für das tägliche Leben alles vorhanden. Wir haben es nicht bereut, zum dritten Mal hier gewesen zu sein - es war keine Sekunde langweilig, das Verhältnis von Aktion und Ruhe war total gegeben. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder! Vielleicht mieten wir auch einmal beide Wohnungen und kommen mit unseren Freunden oder der Familie her und genießen das Zusammensein in so wundervoller Gegend.... Danke an Adriano und Cristina, dass sie ihr Anwesen für Urlaubsgäste zugänglich machen!

Voyage de rêve dans un endroit idyllique

Maison décorée par des artistes tout simplement magnifique. Dans chaque pièce luminosité incroyable provenant des puits de lumières. Portes et volets s'ouvrant sur l'incroyable paysage à 360 degré, montagnes, collines, villes perchées sur les sommets. Très grande piscine avec vue sur les montagnes et les villages. Petit coin d'ombre près du bassin aux poissons rouges. Oliviers, arbres fruitiers et fleurs. Tout y est. Endroit parfait pour se détendre. N'hésitez pas vous ne serez pas déçu. magnifique endroit!

Nous avons adoré cet endroit ! Très bel appartement avec une magnifique vue. La piscine donne sur le village et le tout est très bien entretenue. Très facile d'aller à Rome même pour quelques heures ( 45 m en voiture). Nous espérons y retourner très bientôt
