Beautiful property and great location. Convenient drive to the North Cascades, Mount Baker and so much more! We will definitely return when back in the area. Plenty of room, great shower, and everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Our family of four stayed here in July 2026. Very well appointed and beautiful cottage. The owner Chris was very gracious and even lent us a tool when an issue arose with my daughters braces. The property is away from town, very quiet and peaceful. The location provides good access to the North Cascades Hwy and is also only 35-45 minutes from Anacortes and the ferry to the San Juan Islands. Highly recommend staying here.
Loved the place and the location. Beautiful property and loved the animals on site. We had everything we needed for our two couple group visiting to hike the park. The cottage is very quaint and clean. Chris was very responsive and communication was great. His recommendations for local places to eat were spot on. Would love the opportunity to come back and would stay here again.
Very comfortable/ good location for north cascades
Loved the house and the location was good for our adventure to the north cascades. You can tell the owners love the place to. It is very well cared for.
We love this property and were very excited to be able to stay here again! This little house/cottage is located in a peaceful country setting, but just a few minutes' drive to restaurants, gas stations, groceries, etc. The cottage itself is just beautiful - cozy and beautifully decorated. The entire upstairs is comprised of a gorgeous sitting/TV area with a fully stocked kitchen, dining table, an overstuffed chair and desk with all kinds of books. It has a cabin vibe with all the warm wooden floors and walls. There is a door leading to a small deck where you can enjoy your coffee in the morning with a view of the owners' pretty Friesian horses. We really enjoyed prepping our meals and relaxing in after a busy day exploring and hiking. There are two nice bedrooms downstairs - a huge master with a hot tub, and a second bedroom - also a very nice size. There are TV's in both bedrooms. There are also two full bathrooms and a washer and dryer downstairs as well. The shower off the master bedroom has a rainfall shower head - LOVED it!Simple check-in and check-out process, and Chris, Teri, and their three beautiful golden retrievers were so welcoming and kind. It shouldn't be so hard to leave someone else's home, but it always is hard to leave this one. Thank you for letting us stay with you and we plan to see you all again down the road.
Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. We were nearby for a family wedding, but I would make a trip back out to the area just to stay here again.
The pictures don't do the cabin justice. It was absolutely delightful, comfortable, homey, and interesting just from the decor. Lots of old books to look at, quiet and peaceful. Attention to detail was superb. The kitchen knives are sharp! We will be back for sure.
