A quaint little place to get away for the weekend! Only complaint is the train being so close to the property. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper!

Coming from clean freaks, this house was very clean. Check in was a breeze, homeowner came over and showed us everything in the house, and how to get to the pathway that goes behind his home to the private beach. Amazing shells down there too! Very nice husband and wife team. Super cute stay.

We loved this place! What a great location for our relaxing, chill Bellingham area experience. A beautiful, clean, comfortable cottage with gorgeous water views and access to the water front. Excellent linens, towels, beach towels, chairs, etc, and a very well equipped kitchen. Close to downtown Fairhaven amenities (stores, groceries, great restaurants, parks, etc). Excellent communications with our very gracious and friendly hosts John & Sarah. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The hot-tub at sun-set was over the top, and the hummingbirds put on a great show at dusk. Sunsets by the water rivaled what we see in our beautiful Rhode Island. We look forward to a repeat visit.

The view is magnificent! Watching the sunset over the water was spectacular! John and his wife both were very nice and accommodating. If we make it back to the area would definitely stay again!

This is an adorable place that makes you feel like you’re in a luxury treehouse! Cozy and private with lovely view of Chuckanut Bay. Well stocked kitchen. Was able to work remotely from the desk and sofa upstairs. Great having the streaming TV in the living room. Only downside was the frequent train traffic overnight. So close it Shook the bed!

John came over to meet us when we checked in. He gave us a tour of the property and showed us where the kayak was kept and the hot tub available for use. The views from the windows were amazing and we had breakfast in the openings with the windows open listening to the local wildlife. We were in the area for a short time visiting family and will definitely plan a longer stay next time we are in the area!

This place was exactly what we needed. Quiet, clean, and the views were incredible. The beach access was a huge plus, and low tide was great for exploring. The whole setting felt peaceful and private. Perfect spot for a romantic getaway. We'd absolutely come back.

The host was great and the place lovely. The hideabed should be on the ground floor instead of in the bedroom. The hot tub needs a cover lift if it’s a listed amenity or don’t offer it A step into the hottub would also be appreciated. That said such a lovely place.

Hosts were communicative, accommodating, and friendly!The cottage was very clean and comfortable, we stayed plenty warm despite the freezing temperatures outside. And getting to enjoy the hot tub under the starry night sky was idyllic. 10/10 experience, we would love to be back!
