Hosts were generous and kind. Property is clean and tidy. Good A/C. Refrigerator and chickens outside were very noisy. Parking is tight and challenging, especially at night. Property is not near many restaurants within close walking distance.

Lovely stay in a real Sicilian house

Excellent house with a great terrace, beautiful and clean rooms, and a parking spot (a very important feature). Is close to the beautiful beaches and promenade of Giardini Naxos and a short drive uphill to the very picturesque city of Taormina. Maria and her daughter Marta were very friendly, hospitable, accommodating and cheerful. This was a great stay, wish we booked more nights here!

wonderful terrace, view and central but quiet!

We had a wonderful week at Maria's and her husband's. They and their daughter are very nice and helpful people. The apartment is well equipped and clean. A washing machine ist missing, though and things like a shelf in the bathroom - but one can live without it. It is also child-friendly (we were traveling with our 2 year old) since except for some staircases next to the terrace there are bannisters everywhere and the apartment is big enough. Here we only missed a kids bed. But our kid was very happy and busy with the friendly cats visiting us and there's plenty play-space on the terrace that's well equipped with outdoor furniture and a sunscreen. there's afternoon sun. In the morning you have the sun on the balcony. The very highlight of the place is the astonishing view from the balcony and the rooftop terrace - Taormina, the sea and the Aetna. It's really breathtaking! Since the house is quite far uphill and the roads that lead there are curvy and narrow and oftenly missing a sidewalk, a car is recommended to go to the beach or the city. But I think that's worth it! We would definitely come back.

Ottima esperienza, l'appartamento è pulito e comodo per una famiglia di 5 persone, è facile da raggiungere, grazie anche alle precise indicazioni dellla proprietariache è una persona molto gentile e disponibile. Ci ha anche aiutato a scegliere le giuste esperienze da fare in zona.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Sie wohnen direkt unter der Wohnung und sind immer verfügbar und geben gerne Tipps. Parkplatz direkt vorm Haus, wie üblich aber recht eng. Schöner Ausblick von der Dachterrasse auf den Aetna. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb. Der Strand kann in ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß erreicht werden. Insgesamt toller Aufenthalt, gerne wieder!

Posizione comoda per visitare la zona di Taormina

Discreto appartamento, anche se un po’ datato è dotato di tutto il necessario. Posizionato bene per raggiungere le località nelle vicinanze.. Peccato che l’utilizzo dei climatizzatori sia un extra. Per tutto il resto ci siamo trovati benissimo.

Struttura molto confortevole, pulita e abbastanza tranquilla se non fosse per i canti di alcuni galli del vicinato già dalle 2,30 di notte fino al mattina.

Had a wonderful stay

We had a little trouble finding the property, but with a phone call the owner came and showed us the way. The property is just as described, very clean and airy. It has great views from the roof terrace of mount Etna and the surrounding area. Maria is very welcoming although she only speaks Italian we managed to communicate. It is away from the beach and sea fount so a car would be best. The only down side that we found,that there is no air conditioning, but there are fans in all rooms. I would recommend this property as a base to stay and happily go there again .

Dreckiger Aufenthalt

Lage war sehr schön , Ferienhaus war dreckig , man konnte in der Küche nicht kochen , Schubladen , Schränken, sehr verdreckt . 4 Personen Aufenthalt mit 2 Badetücher , Bettwäsche mit Löcher und haben gestunken . Keine tolle Aufenthalt in diesem Haus . Wir waren 2 Nächte dort und in der 1 Nacht nachdem wir auch müde waren haben sich unten in der Terrasse um 3,30 Uhr Nachts 2 Frauen ( Tochter und Nichte ) laut unterhalten , dies ging nachts mehr als 2 Std lang man konnte nicht einmal richtig schlafen . Ohne Worte .

Mi dispiace che questi nostri ospiti non si sono trovati bene ma sicuramente la casa non è sporca le lenzuola sono pulite gli asciugamani sono un telo grande a testa la cucina è attrezzata di tutto l'occorrente per cucinare è pulita come dicono tutte le recensioni di altri ospiti che sono stati da noi, per favore leggete tutte le recensione precedenti che ho avuto nessuno ha parlato sicuramente per due ore in terrazza alle tre di notte ma faremo sempre molta attenzione affinchè i nostri ospiti avvranno un soggiorno tranquillo grazie Maria

Maison très bien située pour visiter Taormine, les gorges d'Alcantara. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil de Mr et Mme CUCINOTTA et de leur fille. Le logement dispose d'une terrasse spacieuse, joliment agrémentée, pour prendre les repas. Un grand merci de nous avoir permis de passer un très bon séjour en Sicile. Nous reviendrons !

Enchantée de mon séjour chez Maria !

J'ai passé un séjour formidable dans la villa de Maria. J'ai été reçu avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Maria et son mari ont toujours été très chaleureux et disponibles chaque fois que j'avais une question ou une demande. Ils sont venus me chercher à l'aéroport et m'ont emmené faire des courses avec leur voiture car je n’étais pas motorisée. La villa est très agréable, spacieuse. Et le vrai plus : la grande terrasse où l'on peut déjeuner, ou prendre le soleil sur le canapé. Aussi le balcon de l'autre coté de la maison avec vue sur la mer et Taormina. La wifi aussi est un vrai plus car peu de locations en sont fournis. Comptez un petit quart d'heure à pied pour vous rendre au centre de Giardini Naxos et à la plage. En voiture comptez 5 mn. La villa se situe dans un quartier résidentiel très calme et familial. Je suis enchantée de mon séjour, et j'y retournerai avec plaisir.

Wunderschön

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung. Sie ist sehr geräumig und mit einem Balkon der am Nachmittag im Schatten liegt und eine Sicht aufs Meer bietet und einer Terrasse die am Abend auf ein Glas Wein einlädt. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit, manchmal gibt es sogar eigene Tomaten. Einfach super. Die Lage der Wohnung ist optimal schön ruhig und doch schnell am Strand oder Zentrum. Das einzige was noch fehlt ist eine Waschmaschine, die jedoch in Planung ist, da das Bad sehr geräumig ist. Ich denke wir werden wiederkommen. Grazie

Location très agréable, propriétaires très gentils

Un séjour très agréable. Une location très spacieuse (2 grandes chambres, cuisine indépendante, grande salle à manger, et une terrasse). Des propriétaires très disponibles, très gentils : nous ont accompagnés pour faire des courses, sont venus nous chercher à la gare et nous y ont ramenés, ont cherché des renseignements pour l'heure de départ de notre train. Comoda casa per 4 o 5 persone, disponibilità posto auto per gli ospiti, con un bel patio ed un`affascinate vista sull'Etna, situata in una posizione elevata, si mantiene fresca e ventilata. Poco distante dal mare anche a piedi, e vantaggiosamente vicina a Taormina & Giardini Naxos per buone cene a base di pesce. In caso di necessità, è facilmente contattabile un`ottima pizzeria nei dintorni e la proprietaria è sempre a disposizione dei suoi ospiti, con squisite gentilezze.

Mi dispiace che la signora abbia detto che la mia casa sia un po sporca, ma questo a me non risulta in quanto sono io che mi occupo della pulizia e sono al mio favore tutte le altre testimonianze che affermano che la mia casa sia sempre pulita e in ordine. Sul fatto degli armadi, che contengono oggetti personali e solo una parte chiusa e non visibile agli ospiti, laltra anta è grande e vuota e disponibile per gli ospiti.

La casa è accogliente e m...

La casa è accogliente e molto spaziosa (cucina abitabile, soggiorno e due ampie camere da letto). Si trova molto vicino a Giardini Naxos ed in quella zona il fatto che abbia un parcheggio è utilissimo. La zona è tranquilla (eravamo preoccupati dal fatto che è segnalata una discoteca nelle vicinanze, invece l'unico rumore che abbiamo sentito è stato il canto dei galli)e oltre al terrazzo in foto c'è un balcone con vista mare. La signora Maria è gentilissima e al tempo stesso discreta.
