Ideally located in the middle of summer resort, close to amenities,ideal for couples or small families. Only 150 m away from the beach. The studio is fully equipped with kitchenette and bathroom, furnished in a modern style. Guests may have use of the common garden, and at the same time be more private, using their own veranda. Supermarkets are open until very late at night,for shoping and cooking meals and breakfast.
We accept arrivals 24 hours a day.

A lovely stay in Kokkini Hani

The owner was very helpful and met us late at night when we arrived. The apartment is close to the beach and any shops needed. I would recommend this apartment and the owner .

Fantastic value and charm

Clean, convenient and well appointed. Comfortable bed, great A/C(needed in the heat). One of the best places I have stayed in. Manolis and Evi are warm, delightful and helpful hosts and add to the charm of Kokkini Hani. You do not need to drive, buses are frequent and comfortable, supermarket across the road sells fresh local produce. Eleven out of ten from us :-)

Excellent stay, very clean and quite family property, highly recommended!!!

Manolis was a fantastic host! He arranged for our pickup at the airport, greeted us upon arrival and provided recommendations for day trips and restaurants (Peskesi in Heraklion was excellent). The apartment, located near a large supermarket, came with everything you will need including a full kitchenette (tea kettle, toaster, etc.). It was very clean with comfortable beds. Manolis also left us a fruit bowl with some amazing local oranges. The building is well maintained with a beautiful garden and lovely patios for dining or lounging in the sun. We used the bus to go in to Heraklion - the bus stop is conveniently located just across the road, and a trip to the city cots less than 2 Euros. The city was beautiful and everyone we met was kind and welcoming.

Schöner Urlaub

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen worden und haben uns auf Anhieb wohlgefühlt und hätten es noch eine Weile ausgehalten. Die Gastgeber sind sehr angenehme Menschen. Die Küche war für unsere Wünsche und Bedürfnisse absolut genügend; wir haben es genossen, vor der Tür zu sitzen, zu frühstücken, zu essen und abends einen Drink zu nehmen. Der Ort selbst ist günstig gelegen. Man hat gute Busverbindungen nach Heraklion und in die andere Richtung, z.B. nach Malia. Es gibt viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und viele Restaurants sowie zahlreiche Autovermietungen und Ausflugsveranstalter. Kokkini Hani liegt zwar in der Einflugschneisse vom Flughafen, die Flugzeuge selbst stören aber nicht, wir jedenfalls hatten damit keine Probleme. Wir sind über zwei Wochen geblieben. Gerne kommen wir wieder, besten Dank!

Nous avons été très bien accueilli et conseillé ! L'appartement et le studio sont très fonctionnels, il y a tout ce qu'il faut et proche des commerces. Petit inconvénient : le bruit de la circulation ... mais cela n'a pas du tout gâché notre découverte de la crête 🔆 !

Bon séjour, appartement peu fonctionnel

Mon ami et moi avons passé 1 semaine à Kokkini Hani dans cette location en juillet. Points positifs : joli petit studio bien situé, à proximité immédiate d'un supermarché et des stations de bus pour se rendre à heraklion, agios nikolaos, sitia, lerapetra... etc, propriétaire arrangeant sur les horaires. Points négatifs : Quartier très bétonné, plage assez sale (mais de jolies plages accessibles en bus à proximité). Studio vide (pas de sel, poivre, ni même de liquide vaisselle ou de produits d'entretien pour le ménage avant de partir), pas très propre (couverts collants de confiture, poubelles pas tout à fait vides..). Si vous avez prévu de bouger et de visiter l'est de l'île, c'est un bon emplacement, mais pensez à vérifier le contenu du studio afin de faire les courses de première nécessité au plus vite !

Cependant, nous tenons à vous rappeler que le studio que vous avez séjourné dans un hébergement indépendant et il est clair sur le site que nous ne fournissons que le linge de lit, serviettes et nettoyage final. Nous sommes surpris que vous ne jouissent pas de la plage de Kokkini Hani, parce que tous nos clients jusqu'à présent sont satisfaits. En ce qui concerne le nettoyage de la maison, nous tenons à vous informer que nos studios sont toujours propres afin d'accueillir nos invités, et vous pouvez lire tous les autres témoignages de nos clients précédents.

Really nice place to stay!

After a very pleasant stay in the Kapsetakis Manolis and Evi property during last year,Aigialis apartments and studios in Kokkini Hani, we were very happy to return for a second year. We spent again a lovely time at the property, the studio was spacious, very clean and equipped with all comforts. Thank you for the great time. We will be happy to come back next year for longer time. See you soon!

Good location for beach, ...

Good location for beach, shops and transport. The advert said internet access, but the signal was very poor and we could not connect and neither could next door neighbours. (Luckily we were able to use the internet at local café while having coffee.) There was a nice bowl of fruit provided on arrival, but we had to supply our own toilet paper and dishwashing liquid and soap for bathroom. The owner was very helpful providing information about the area and transport.

"We in fact stayed three weeks in september 2012 from the 6th to the 27th (Sorry but I forget to enter our stay before our trip). The place is very nice and the owner kind and helpfull. They offer us to stay in a room with a nice veranda where we took our breakfast on a large table. The place is clean. The house is at two steps from the bus station and so we travelled around by local bus without problem to visit Heraklion, Agios Nicholaios, Ierapetra, Rethymno or Chania... There are many shops nearby and nice little restaurants with sea view. The location is in a nice place and full of life, but quiet. The beach also is nearby even if we used to go a little more far."

Kapsetakis studios, Kokki...

Kapsetakis studios, Kokkini Xani (also Hani), Crete: Attentively maintained, comfortable studios located in the seaside town of Kokkini Xani – 20 minutes by air-conditioned coach from Heraklion (from which regularly scheduled coaches depart through breathtaking vistas to all major sites and towns on this magnificently beautiful island), these self-contained units are an enjoyable place to which to return after a day’s travels, or a visit to the quiet beach less than five minute’s walk. (They are also a safe 25 km. distance from Malia – the infamous party town popular with young binge-drinking Brits (as well as those who prefer to holiday surrounded by souvenir shops, Irish pubs and shops that rent those abominable jet skis). Owners Manolis and Evi could not have done more to make our first trip to Crete a wonderful and enjoyable holiday. From helpful advice about where to buy the best local produce, to suggestions about what and when to visit (and how to get to) places of interest and beauty, their very kind and hospitable manner will be warmly appreciated by any who want to enjoy the many pleasures Crete has to offer.

"Ok,the appartment was very clean and exactly as described with everything i needed to enjoy my stay.It''s located very close from supermarkets so it was very easy to do some shopping.It was also close from the sea with a little beach but i could easily reach the municipal beach which is bigger and offer a very nice view on the mountains and on an island.It was also very nice to explore the area with the bike.Thanks to the owner who was very nice and helpful. "The studio makes a great base to explore all over Crete,the location also allows for daily trips to East or West Crete. The Greek owners Evi and Manolis are charming and helpfull,they will do everything to be of assistance. The studio is very clean,quiet and tidy.Excellent stay.Would love to return. Highly recommented"
