Air-condition is available in all rooms free of charge. A beautiful fire place will keep you warm at winter nights. Can accomodate up to 6 persons. Terrace and garden are overlooking the sea. Private parking space. Situated only 500m from the high way and yet, next to the beach. Ideal for families with children, or guests who want to enjoy their holidays by the sea.. Easy access to high way, close to amenities.The location of the villa is ideal for exploring Crete, or visiting Greek islands like Santorini. Local cuisine,with different dishes every day. Super market nearby. Close to antiquities. Water park with many different slides is 5 Kms away, ideal days out with children. Crete Aquarium, one of the biggest building complexes in the Mediterranean, is 200 meters away for those who adore marine world and want to explore more than 2500 individuals of fish and invertebrates. Lovely apartment close to beach!

This apartment is lovely, very clean and newly decorated. The garden is also lovely. The owners are delightful, they kept bring us gifts of food and were generally very helpful. The beach is very close with sunloungers and a little cafe. Restaurants and bars are about 10 to 15 minute walk away. Hire car was very useful.

Villa Eva beautiful respite on Crete Coast

Loved Villa Eva. So close to the ocean. Beautiful sunrises; walk to sites, restaurants and shops. Well appointed two bedroom apartment. The welcome raki regular and honey infused a wonderful touch. Nice deck/patio to bask in the beautiful sunrise and enjoy the evening. Lovely garden area with seating. Absoulutely would stay again. Yassas.

A fabulous stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was well appointed and comfortable, especially the beds. Short little walk down to a lovely beach with beds and drinks. A 15 - 20 minute walk to some lovely tavernas with lovely views over the sea. Mini market and superb bakery 15 min walk from apartment. Great bus service to Heraklion. Owners superb. Great welcome from George who also drove us to the big supermarket on our first day :-)). All in all we had a great week and some super weather. Highly recommend ******

The property was great. We were welcomed by the owner and treated with cake, water and wine. The one issue was Crete was much larger than we expected and property is located in the middle of the island. We were not able to explore as much as we wanted due to our time constraints. The property located on a closed military establishment with homes interspersed and restaurants along the coast. Washer worked great tho instructions were in Greek and took much longer to do a load than expected. Loved the shower and the living room space. Beds a tad firm for our taste. Should have done more research on the places to visit-glad we rented a car-a must have for this property.

Luxus sieht anders aus!

Grundsätzlich war der Aufenthalt in Ordnung, leider ensprachen die Bilder vom Garten nicht der Realität. Laut Homepage Brandneue Luxusvilla.Im Haus waren der E-Herd die Tischsets die Gläser sowie die Badezimmerarmatur nicht sauber! Der Garten war nicht gepflegt bzw. nicht vorbereitet. Obwohl unsere Buchung nicht kurzfristig war und wir auf Grund der schönen Gartenausstattung gebucht haben. Die gesamte Gartenausstattung ist veraltet, rostig und schmutzig der Griller nicht zu benützen. Auch der Kontakt in den 3 Wochen Aufenthalt war sehr verhalten.

Toller Urlaub

In der Wohnung gibt es alles, was man braucht, der Vermieter war sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Wir bekamen Kuchen und Trauben geschenkt, außerdem erwarteten uns bei Ankunft Wein, Brot, Kuchen, Raki, Wurst und Käse. Wie wurden auch, obwohl es schon spät war, von Giorgi zu einem Restaurant direkt am Meer gebracht. Man hört das Meer, sobald man ein Fenster aufmacht. Vom Balkon aus sieht man es auch. Hilfe bekamen wir auch bei der Anmietung eines Autos und um ein Taxi für den Weg zum Flughafen zu bestellen.

Ein tolles Appartement - Sehr zu empfehlen

Für unseren ersten Urlaub auf Kreta hatten wir nach einem hochwertig ausgestatteten und familienfreundlichen Appartement in zentraler Lage gesucht und haben genau das mit der Villa Eva gefunden. Die Lage in der Mitte der Insel ist ideal, um die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten und Strände in kurzer Zeit anfahren zu können. Natürlich würden wir dafür einen Leihwagen empfehlen, die nächste Bushaltestelle ist allerdings auch nicht weit entfernt. Das Appartement selbst war genau so wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben: Gut ausgestattet mit allem was man für 2 Wochen Urlaub braucht, sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Besondere bei dieser Wohnung sind außerdem die Inhaber: Sie haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und verabschiedet und während unseres Aufenthaltes immer wieder mit lokalen Spezialitäten versorgt. Wir waren bereits in vielen Ferienwohnungen aber soviel Gastfreundschaft haben wir noch nie erlebt! Bei den Fotos ist es natürlich so, dass diese schon etliche Jahre alt sind. Der Blick auf das Meer ist mittlerweile teilweise verbaut und auch den Strand mit den Sonnenliegen gibt es in dieser Form nicht mehr. Das Haus und das Appartement selbst sind aber genau so wie abgebildet. Wir danken den Gastgebern für die sehr angenehmen 2 Wochen Aufenthalt und könne die Villa Eva mit gutem Gefühl weiterempfehlen!

Einfach fantastisch

Die Wohnung ist einfach fantastisch. Sie ist sehr geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtet. Die Verwalter sind super freundlich und haben uns bei allem sehr schnell und freundlich ausgeholfen, so dass wir uns wirklich sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt haben. Wir sondert unser 20monate alten Tochter verreist und alles war für sie vorhanden. Kinderbetreuung, Kinderstuhl und sogar Kinderbadewanne. Ein Traum für sorgende Eltern. Wir wurden mit Toast, Wein und einem großen Obstkern empfangen….es war einfach wundervoll. Wer sich Gedanken um den Fluglärm macht, dem kann ich nur sagen, dass man es schnell vergisst und es sogar spannend wird. Wir können die Wohnung wirklich wärmsten empfehlen! Ευχαριστούμε από καρδιάς παρά, μα παρά πολύ για τις όμορφες μέρες!

Angenehmer Tage in herzlicher Atmosphäre

Wir verbrachten neun sehr schöne Tage in Gournes. Die Wohnung ist, wie schon mehrfach beschrieben, modern und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, auch die in diesem Jahr besonderen Hygienevorschriften wurden beachtet. Die Vermieter sind außerordentlich freundlich, von der An- bis zur Abreise standen sie uns hilfreich zur Seite. Das direkte Umfeld des Hauses wirkt zwar etwas heruntergekommen, dafür entschädigen aber die überraschend guten Sandstrände und das saubere Meer in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Die zahlreichen Tavernen bieten sehr gutes Essen zu günstigen Preisen. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und empfehlen die Ferienwohnung gern weiter. Ines W., Juli 2020

Beautiful luxury villa on Crete!

Our visit to Crete was over the Christmas holidays and we were warmly greeted by our host who was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay on Crete. The home is in the same building as the owners which was nice if we had questions. It is very stylish and has beautiful décor and had lovely Christmas decorations, the beds were very comfortable, the area is quiet and within walking distance to the beach. The kitchen is available for any meals you choose to prepare yourself and does have a dishwasher. Our host (Anastasia's Father) gave us recommendations to restaurants and drove my husband around the area upon our arrival to show us where to go. We especially enjoyed the bakery he showed us and there was a very cute restaurant with amazing Christmas decorations with delicious food that we really liked. Our host family had special treats they made for us and other items we enjoyed throughout our stay. We appreciated their friendliness and generous, kind attitude throughout our stay. We would highly recommend staying here! Enjoy Crete!

Wonderful Hosts

We loved our week in Crete. The hosts treated us like long-lost friends. They provided a very warm welcome meal, as well as treats and gifts throughout the week. We ate every meal on the balcony and waved to neighbors running and walking by. We appreciated the black-out shutters for sleeping, and the kitchen for cooking meals (since many restaurants were closing down at the end of the season). We were at the beach every day with our little one. We also went on a hike in a different gorge every day. We took advantage of the wonderful weather. The one thing I wish I could change is the flight path of the airplanes. Our little one loved seeing every plane pass right over the home, and happily there were not flights at night when we were sleeping. It seems to be a still developing area, since it is next to the old US Army Base. I could see this neighborhood being more built up in a few more years.

Séjour à Gournès

Le logement est très agréable, fonctionnel, bien situé. Le propriétaire est aux petit soins pour les locataires, petits cadeaux, eaux, fruits, gâteau, ... à l'arrivée, bons conseils pour le choix d'un restaurant vraiment très bon. Il est très présent sans être envahissant, nous avions rarement reçu un accueil aussi chaleureux. Logement à recommander.

A lovely place we hope to return!

Our stay was absolutely lovely. The family were such gracious hosts from the welcome to our last day. They treated us like family in the best way—popping in with a special sweet or taking us to town to avoid an extra bus ride. The apartment was wonderful—beautifully decorated with the amenities of home. The town (Gouves) has all you would need and some wonderful restaurants. We can’t say enough about all the great food! The beach is visible from the porch which was so easy. For non beach days, getting into town was about 20 minutes and in town, the buses were easy. Heraklion had shopping, restaurants, and nice people. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property and what feels like our friends to everyone!

Great Condo

Beautiful 2 bedroom condo very close to the beach. The owners are very friendly and had baked a cake for our arrival and gave us fruit, rakhi and metaxa to enjoy during our stay. The local restaurant that the owners recommended - Ambrosia Tavern - was one of the best meals we had in Greece. Only negative was that they did not provide soap for the shower which does make bathing difficult.

You feel like family

My family and I just returned from our Greece trip. We are 3 adults and 2 children, ages 7 & 9. Crete was our second half of our trip. We wanted to stay somewhere centrally where we could travel from there. We ended up staying at Villa Eva. I LOVE this property! But first, let me describe our arrival to the property. It looks to be owned by a family (husband, wife, adult daughter.) We met the father and daughter at the aquarium closeby since it's difficult to find the property by just using the address. Once we arrived to the property we were greeted by the mother. The property is located close to the sea in an area that is not the most updated or modern. BUT, that didn't diminish our experience whatsoever. The property was beautiful. The mom had furnished and decorated it and it was lovely. The family were so excited to give us the grand tour. It really felt like we were family coming to visit. They even made food for us knowing that we had kids. There was a huge platter of ham and cheese sandwiches, an egg/ham "quiche", cake roll, two bottles of wine, limencello, and mom's homemade raki. The property is beautiful. The pictures are very accurate. The two bedrooms & common area are spacious. They had a cute balcony with a table where we had most of our dinners. There is even a yard next to the building meant for our use that had a dining table, several lounge chairs, and the cutest decorations! The kitchen area had plenty of items to help us with our dinners. The property is located very close to Heraklion (Iraklion) and the drive to Elounda was about an hour away. The neighborhood is very quiet. The parents live downstairs but only bothered us when they would bring up desserts that mom made for us. They were even kind enough to let us borrow their phone a couple of times. We were well taken care of! Our goodbye gift was the icing on the cake. This property was a wonderful place to stay. We would highly recommend it for anyone!

Traumhafter Urlaub

Wir haben uns in unserer Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Wenn wir von einem Ausflug zurück kamen, war es wie nach Hause zu kommen. Obwohl wir wegen Flugverspätung erst um 01.00 Uhr nachts ankamen, wurden wir von der ganzen Familie mit Essen empfangen. Die Vermieter haben sich immer dafür interessiert, was wir unternommen hatten und auch im Vorfeld Tipps gegeben. Auch konnten wir uns immer wieder über Kuchen freuen, den wir von den Vermietern vorbei gebracht bekamen. Bei Fragen waren sie jederzeit erreichbar, Anfragen per Email wurden schnell beantwortet. Mit dem Auto ist man in 10 Minuten an sehr gepflegten Stränden im Nachbarort. Der Ausblick vom Balkon aufs Meer ist wunderschön. Wir hoffen mal wieder kommen zu können :) Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

We stayed at Villa Eva for 3 days during Easter holiday and we were given a warm welcome by both George and his wife. We arrived quite late and they both greeted us with lots of goodies. The villa is clean and comfortable. Renting a car would be useful if trying to visit the main attractions in Heraklion. George was very helpful in getting us connected with a car rental company upon our arrival. Anastasia, his daughter, was very responsive to our requests and questions. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

Fantastic Crete property

We stayed three wonderful nights in April. The property is better than pictured and the owners are the best hosts ever! We were greeted with wine, cake and sandwiches and a complete orientation to the beautiful property. Comfortable bed; every kitchen amenity you can think of. The balconies and courtyard are wonderful places to relax after touring beautiful Crete all day. You can walk to the fabulous Tavern Ambrosia which is 0.7 mi away on the sea coast. There are NO negatives to this property. If we come back to Crete, we would not consider any other property except this one! Loved it!!
