Just incredible! The host has done a wonderful job remodeling the space and creating something nice. I stayed here with my wife and two children. Plenty of space, and the location is perfect!!
The old wine makers house was even better than the pictures. Overall we felt welcomed and fully immersed in the area and I would recommend this to all my friends. Thank you
Nathalie. It was my pleasure to meet you

We stayed at The Olde Winemakers House for 4 days at the end of May, 2023. The accommodations were exactly as listed in the description of the property. Well appointed and had everything we needed. Furnishings were comfortable and space enough for everyone. A quiet neighborhood close to Beaune, Meursault, Levernois and many other areas for day trips.
We would highly recommend this property, and would not hesitate to stay there again.
We had good communication with Nathalie before and throughout our stay, as she lives next door. The house is a 10 minute drive to Beaune in a quite street and pleasant village setting. If you're cycling, as we did, it's an easy cycle into Beaune using off road trails. The house is well presented with comfortable rooms, great showers (very important!) and a large lounge/kitchen area. We sat out the front garden as that is where the sun was in the afternoon but it's still private. Overall, the area beat our expectations and cycling through the vineyards was beautiful and being able to return to a smart, comfortable house made the trip exceptional.

Merci beaucoup pour votre gentil commentaire. Nice to see you Nathalie
Nathalie and Jean-Michel are excellent hosts. They lived very close by and whenever minor problems or queries arose they were immediately on-hand in-person or by phone to give that information or to rectify them. The house is well-appointed, with all sorts of appliances, including a full-size 5-burner gas range where my son-in-law gave full vent to his culinary skills.Bathroom-wise, there is a main bathroom with separate toilet, and there is also an ensuite off the main bedroom. The house is set on a large block of land which allows outdoor living in the morning and in the evenings with tables and chairs ready for use no matter when.Tailly is a small village about 5 km from Beaune, and in between is another village, Bligny-les-Beaune, where I bought my daily baguettes and pastries. And of course the whole area is full of wineries. We tried quite a lot over the five weeks we were living in the house, seeing that places like Pommard and Volnay were mere kilometres away. You will like the hosts and the house too.
This is a large beautiful French farmhouse, situated between Beaune and Meursault. It is a winetaster’s dream location- with Pommard, Volnay, Montrachet, and Beaune within easy reach, and the Cote du Nuit only 25 minutes away. On arrival, we were met by the helpful owner Nathalie who lives next door. She was most helpful, giving advice and recommendations; She was always available but never intrusive.
The property is both private and beautiful located in a small village and is very peaceful. There are several areas (front and back of the house) where you can sit out for eating or relaxing. We were invited to eat the cherries from the trees on the property. There is ample parking for 2-3 cars. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, dishes and sharp knives. There is a gas stove, a dishwasher, washer/dryer, and a briquette type barbecue. The bedrooms are large and comfortable and there was plenty of room for us and the couple we were travelling with. The fireplace in the large front room is very welcome to take off the chill of some of the spring evenings. As one who is visiting the wine regions would hope, there were lovely wine glasses and champagnes flutes. Tourist tip: the wineries have gotten more formal since our last visit many years ago, and are rarely agreeable to customers dropping in to do a cellar tasting. You are generally required to book ahead.

Serene, wonderful stay in great location to explore the area
Cosy, airy, light and spacious, beautifully designed home in tranquil setting. Wonderful and very comfortable stay. Smell of fresh lavender pervades the home from the garden. Great location to explore the surrounds, including bicycling through a vinyard to town. Excellent communication and warm welcome from Nathalie, our host, who made us feel at home. Perfect stay. We could not have asked for more.

Authentic and very comfortable and spacious village house in the heart of Burgundy. Fitted out with everything our family of six, and 3 generations, would need. The house was styled in a homely but modern way and brochures were provided covering local attractions. Nathalie was a very welcoming and helpful host. We would be very happy to stay there again.

Magnifique gite

Wonderful Home in Cote d' Beaune
La Maison de Lucien is a wonderful home to stay while exploring all of Burgundy. All five of us who stayed there last year are going back again this Fall ('12). This is one of those rare places with a great house, grounds and owners. The decorating is modern and still keeping with the history of the area. If I had a house in France, La Maison de Lucien is what I would want it to be. The appliances are all new, the beds very comfortable and the neighborhood quiet.
We rode our bicycles out of the property on country roads with no vehicle traffic and easily connected to the Burgundy bike path. The drive into old town Beaune takes less than 10 minutes even during busy times.
