Thank you for the review! Glad to hear your group had a good time.
Pretty and well appointed cabin on a nice sandy bottomed lake. Nice yard, dock and boathouse. Lots of games and such. Outdoor furniture and nice lakeside covered porch.Recently updated and very clean.
Wonderful cabin that has an excellent set up! Would definitely stay again! A lot of check out requirements, but other than that, the whole VRBO was excellent and definitely deserves a 5 Star rating!
Such an awesome place! Loved the large covered porch, big backyard looking out at the water, kayaks, and fire pit. The inside is actually super spacious- more like 3 bedrooms! Host was very friendly and helpful! Only “downsides” is there’s only 1 very small shower and the place didn’t come with Kleenex or paper towel.
We loved this cabin! The fully stocked kitchen, the beautiful landscaped yard, the deck with two dining tables, we're all perfect for our needs. The views of the lake were tremendous. There was a ton of wildlife viewing, and the fishing was very good.Thank you for a wonderful stay, we look forward to being back again soon.Annie and Dar
Our family enjoyed our long weekend on Fish Trap lake. The cabin felt like a true family cabin and it was wonderful. While a large place, it felt cozy and inviting. We took advantage of the board games during the evenings and amazing lakefront during the day. Definitely will consider for future trips to MN!!
My husband and I stayed for six nights and enjoyed the place thoroughly. Super clean, very comfortable, well-equipped, obviously very thoughtfully prepared for our visit. Also, my husband says the fishing was superb! We are seriously considering a return trip next spring.
Absolutely, beautiful location. Had everything we were wanting to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everday life. Enjoyed the lake, wildlife, firepit and everyday sitting on the deck with our coffee. Could not have asked for better accommodations.
This was the second time we spent a week at this cabin. My husband enjoyed the lake and the fish he caught, and I enjoyed a relaxing stay in a comfortable, cozy house. The cabin is decorated beautifully, and it is obvious that the owner takes pride in the place.

About the host
Hosted by Camille Dalbec and Nicole St John
Our family lives in Corcoran, MN and we have enjoyed going 'up north' to the Lincoln Lakes area, year round, for the past 30 years. We love to be out on the lake skiing, tubing or wake boarding and often come to shore for a grill-out and relaxation by the fire with family and friends.
Why they chose this property
Rustic charm, modern amenities and an outstanding view with walk out lake shore are just the beginning of a long list that sets our property apart from the rest. Our cabin provides the modern comforts of home just two hours north of the Twin Cities. It offers all of the features of a north woods cabin that we enjoy and we know others will too.
What makes this property unique
This location offers beautiful northern landscape views, great water access for enjoying the lake, and is also close to cities such as Brainerd and Motely. Our property includes a level walk out to lake shore with a dock and boat lift. Easy access to the lake as well in the winter for snowmobiles. There is also a fire ring, large front porch with seating for 8 to enjoy the sunset, and 2 kayaks for your use; these are just some of the key features available. It is an all-around excellent setting for families, couples or those just seeking their own private getaway.
