There is a gas BBQ on the large wrap-around, 1,062 square foot deck, along with a picnic table and lounge chairs. This home is great for small family gatherings or weddings of up to 25 guests for day use. There is a wheelchair ramp for entry into the home and the master bedroom/ bathroom is equipped to accommodate wheelchair access. This cabin includes an Electric Vehicle Charging Outlet. No Pet Allowed.

The Redwoods in Yosemite is located in the little community of Wawona, 6 miles INSIDE the south entrance of Yosemite National Park.  It makes a wonderful home base while you explore and play in Yosemite.  Depending on the season, there is always something special to enjoy!
 
In the spring, the rivers and waterfalls throughout the Park, including nearby Chilnualna Falls, are nothing short of awe-inspiring.
During the summer, you have the opportunity to relax in the south fork of the Merced River & cascading waterfalls. Enjoy a hike to nearby Chilnualna Falls, the Swinging Bridge, and the Meadow Loop Trail. Visit the nearby famous Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. Enjoy fine dining and play golf at the historic Big Trees Lodge (formerly The Wawona Hotel), go horseback riding, fishing, enjoy Ranger walks and talks, or visit the Living History Center/Pioneer Village.
In the fall, the colors are spectacular as you enjoy the walking path around the golf course of the nearby historic Big Trees Lodge. See the nearby famous Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias.
In the winter, the family-friendly Yosemite Ski and Snowboard Area (formerly Badger Pass Ski Area) offers snowshoeing, snowboarding, skiing, cross-country ski tours, and in Yosemite Valley enjoy the outdoor ice skating rink.
