This brand new, super clean, quiet and conveniently located home is an ideal place for a large family or two couples to share. It has two bedrooms with nice comfortable queen beds, two full baths, plus a queen sized pull out sofa bed in the living room. One bedroom is a master with a bathroom (shower only), the other bathroom is in the hallway outside of the second bedroom (shower/tub combo). It is lake front, 5 minutes from Folly Beach and 15 to 20 minutes from downtown Charleston. This neighborhood is a collection of eclectic homes surrounded by marsh and tidal creeks where Moms walk with strollers in the evening and children ride their bikes after school. Full kitchen, dining room and living room. Dishwasher, washer and dryer, cable and WiFi. Regular drip coffee maker, and a K-cup coffee maker. Front porch on the street side, and back patio overlooking the lake. Plenty of outside seating. Plenty of parking. Cotton sheets provided! Harris Teeter within walking distance. Fully stocked with pots, pans, and kitchen utensils for cooking in. Surrounded by restaurants in both directions. Nicely decorated. Paper products, soap, garbage bags, and detergents provided for hassle free traveling. Enjoy Folly Beach, downtown Charleston, and everything in between, then relax in a quiet and comfortable home. Open the windows for a nice lake breeze! Fishing allowed in the saltwater lake. Bring your gear and catch your dinner!!!

Great weekend in Folly Beach

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very nice, clean and comfortable. It was nice to have beach chairs/umbrella available. It was an easy drive to Folly Beach. Owners were easy to work with.

Great stay

Everything was wonderful, we loved the location and ease of getting in and out of the area. Only suggestion would be a TV in the bedrooms would be nice as some people need the sound and device running to get to sleep. Other than that we didn’t have any complaints. Look forward to staying again.

Perfect place for our family

Great house for our family (late 30s and a 7-year-old daughter). We stayed here for 2 nights and the house was a perfect size, a short drive to groceries/restaurants, and was stocked with everything we needed. We would not hesitate to come back again.

Hosts were responsive to all our needs. House is very comfortable and in great location. I lived in Charleston from 1983-86 and my boyfriend lived in Greenville this was our trip to reminisce. We loved it!

Perfect spot for family vacation

The house is exactly as described. It was a short trip to the beach and to the city. The accommodations were wonderful and the setup was great!! We had a fantastic time staying here and would absolutely rent this home again. Thank you!!

Where to begin! First and foremost, we were absolutely loved staying in this super cute house and very clean; we were 4 adults and there was plenty of space to do just about anything. Main et guest bedrooms are very spacious, kitchen has all you need, dining room is perfect (with a closet that offers beach chairs (Tommy Bahama, super comfy) and a few towels (we brought ours). There's a gas grill outside by the lake (non swimming lakealligators) that we used and an awesome area under the house where to sit and relax. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The house is a 5 minutes drive (max) from Folly Beach and about 20 min from Charleston (depending which area you're heading to). Teeters (affiliated with Kroger's) is right on the other side of the main street (at the light where we turn to get to the house) and they do accept Kroger's Plus cards (to get the ''deals''). Folly Beach offers an array of shops, restaurants, bars and live music. One thing I feel is a good info; when parking at that beach, you can do so on any parallel streets, for free! Just make sure your wheels DO NOT touch the street (stay on the grass, in front of any house); otherwise you'll get a ticket. You have to go to the Rainbow bridge in that same area; all the pets' collars, pictures, etc., is definitely something to see. The owners of the house are beyond responsive and super nice. Overall, our stay was one we'll remember very fondly. We won't hesitate to rent there again and will recommend!

Would definitely recommend this property!

We had a great experience and would highly recommend this property. There were a couple of minor issues that should be addressed. One toilet won’t flush, and the water pressure in the master bath’s sink is very bad. Everything else was great.

Lovely house and quiet neighborhood.

We were very comfortable and enjoyed the house. We would definitely come back. We felt the door lock wasn’t always reliable, but having a key to use if needed worked. Would have also been nice to have some dressers to unpack in, but understand the two bedrooms were small and that could have been crowded. Beds were very comfortable and all linens were nice. Overall we had a great time!

Beach in low light

Clean and loved loved loved the location. Very accessible to everywhere we wanted to go. Cons Very low in the dining room and absolutely horrible lighting in bedrooms. Worse in bedroom #2. 1st Step on back porch feels soggy watch your step. Loved everything else about this place.

The Perfect Vacation Home

I am so glad I chose this home! I was so impressed with the area and loved the next door neighbors, a very nice family and local to the community. I chose this home after doing a lot of research and was very happy with not only the home, but the location, and the great communication with the homeowner. If you love a great pizzeria, I highly recommend Zeppelin's on Maybank Hwy, which is where we had the after-rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding, as so many places were closed due to the C-19. All-in-all a very nice vacation destination, which also made my son's wedding at "A White House Wedding" on Wadmalaw Island all the more enjoyable! I highly recommend this home and would definitely stay here again. Thank you again, Richard!

Excellent property!

I’m so impressed with the property and the owners. The pictures don’t do the house justice. It’s beautifully maintained and clean. We found it to be perfect for our needs. It was well stocked with whatever we would need during our stay. We found it to be safe and secure. My son tried his hardest to fish in the pond-it just wasn’t the right time of year. But he had fun! I will absolutely stay here again. My communication with Lauri was great-responsive and attentive. Well worth staying here and enjoying the Charleston area. It’s a gem! 💎

Perfect!

My son and I spent four nights during his Spring Break week. The house is exactly what you see on the site. Clean, comfortable, and in a safe neighborhood. Close to Folly Beach and short drive to downtown Charleston. All the amenities you need with coffee pot, Keurig, microwave, etc. I worked remotely for two of the days and the internet was great! Only concern was side door did not open, allowing us to enjoy the deck or backyard. Could be a fire hazard, however, to only have one exit. Otherwise, it was a great stay and we would definitely come back and recommend to others.

Great location cleanliness needs improvement

Overall the property location and home were great however the cleanliness of the home was less than stellar. We came in to an awful fish smell in the fridge and sink to which we weren’t informed of beforehand. After contacting the owner they decided to tell us. After examining the rest of the house there were multiple other things that had not been cleaned or checked. We wouldn’t recommend this home to any friends or family.

Honeymooners in Folly

We loved the house! It was lovely and cute. Also easy to find and drive to. It was a very clean and neat and we could tell it was well taken care of. Both bathrooms were nice. Mattresses we good but the second bedroom master is best. Something’s we disliked: We noticed during our stay the master sweet bed was sagging and we to our discovery was broken. The sheets were unsatisfactory as well. The material of the sheet alone retains too much heat and is not a breathable fabric. The ice maker was also malfunctioning when we arrived. The couch in the living room was worn out and uncomfortable. We also believe the washing machine needs to be tended to. We washed towels and were very concerned with the noises it made. Despite these flaws we still enjoyed our stay in Folly Beach, and it made us want to go out and enjoy the area.

Great Stay
