This 5 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home is located on the intra-coastal waterway, in a quiet gated community, 20 minutes from Historic downtown Charleston. This house, surrounded by live oaks, offers a relaxing Southern atmosphere. The wrap-around porch offers a variety of natural views. This 3 story home has elevator access to each floor. The top floor has 3 bedrooms with queen beds and an open bonus room with a double bed. The main floor boasts a large family room, a kitchen, and a dining room overlooking the Stono river. Just off the family room is the master suite with a king bed and a private bath with an antique claw foot tub and separate walk in shower. There is also a double bed located off the kitchen with a connecting half bath. This river home sleeps 10 to 12 people comfortably and is ideal for connecting with nature and relaxing.

Excellent, accommodation great, fishing was slow for the first couple of days, finally at the end started catching fish, a lot of sting rays, one shark, one big trout, overall everything was great, the elevator was a plus.

Charleston Family Vacation

Wonderful time with our whole family. House was beautiful and had everything we needed for a perfect week. Front porch was so relaxing in the morning and watching the deer frolic in the front yard was fabulous.

Quiet, Relaxing and Comfortable

We hope we have an opportunity to go back!! Wonderful location for a peaceful, relaxing stay. We were in and out quite a bit for a wedding on John’s island, but thought the drive was well worth it. We had 9 family members and lots of space and everything we needed. The kitchen was so well stocked, the outdoor spaces we amazing. With it being a gated community, we felt extra safe and secure. Would highly recommend for large groups!! Thanks to this VRBO host!!!!

The house was beautiful and big enough for a big family. I would definitely recommend. The elevator was wonderful for moving luggage to all the floors. We hadd a blast playing ping pong and playing cards.

Wedding Weekend!

We rented the Stono River house to celebrate our son‘s wedding at the Old Wide Awake plantation! My boys graduated from The Citadel and I have one have any paper son that just finished his freshman year at the Citadel so I’ve been visiting Charleston for a long time… This was by far my favorite weekend! The house was so relaxing and brought me a great deal of peace! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful river home! All the best, the Prunty family Hope to visit again soon!

Beach getaway

We had a great time at this property. It was so nice and quiet, we even saw dolphins down in the river of the dock at high tide. It was nice and close to Charleston and the surronding beaches.

Perfect Location

This home was perfect for our extended family visiting for our son’s wedding. The elevator was a lifesaver for my elderly mother. Could not have been in a more convenient location to the venue. Loved walking the pier out to the dock and beautiful view. Well stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Gathering Place

We were in town for a wedding. This home was the perfect place for us to gather as a family. Nice neighborhood feel with plenty of room to spread out. The access to the dock and river kept the kids entertained.

Charleston Wedding

Our family used this house as a base for a wedding. House was clean, well-stocked kitchen, beds were comfortable with ample room (loved coffee on screened porch). Really would have liked to have used the pier and river but did not have time. Parking and elevator were also good. We would consider a return for a relaxing vacation.

Great rental on the river

We had a wonderful time staying here. The dock access was great - we all enjoyed sitting out by the river and just enjoying the view and the sea breeze. Close to all our favorite spots in Charleston, but in a nice quiet neighborhood. Leanna was a wonderful host and answered all of our questions promptly.

Memorable First Girls' Getaway

2 of my friend flew into Charleston for our first Girls Getaway and we have a wonderful time. The home is beautiful and exhibits a wonderful beachy Charleston theme. The porch itself was where we stayed most of the time. We are definitely thinking about staying here again for one of our future Girls Getaway.
