This house, located in a very peaceful district of La Rochelle, was entirely renovated in 2011, mixing the charm of vintage and modernism.
It is equipped with recent furniture and equipment.
The Poppy themed bedroom has a double configuration, either with a double bed (160x200) or twin beds (80x200) according to your requirement.
Young children are welcome. The parents will find all of the necessary equipment : baby bed, bath-tub, dishes, high chair, potty or toilet reducer as well as a ball pool and toys adapted for older kids.
The swimming pool, heated up to 28°C or 82°F, is fully accessible and located in a closed independent space. The holidaymakers and the owners access the pool from each side of their respective garden by a gate. It is equipped with 6 sunbaths and 2 benches with pillows and umbrellas.
The garage allows storage for the bikes and/or a trailer. The car can be safely parked in the street right in front of the house.

Peaceful house in the suburbs

Well equipped house in the suburbs of La Rochelle with a fabulous pool. The house is in a great location allowing us to walk into town in about 20 minutes. The pool and the BBQ and outdoor seating area get the sun most of the day but there are plenty of umbrellas for shade. Florent and Annick were very welcoming and provided clear instructions on how everything worked. We had a fabulous holiday x

Cuisine très fonctionnelle avec un équipement électroménager très complet (y compris machine à laver, sèche linge, lave vaisselle...)Maison très confortable, literie en très bon état... Tout est prévu pour un séjour agréable.La piscine très bien entretenue, bien sécurisée, grâce à un volet roulant, une clôture grillagée avec un accès par une porte verrouillée. Ses plages équipées de bains de soleil avec matelas et parasols constituent un lieu de détente et repos idéal.La proximité de la station de bus est aussi appréciable pour l'accès au centre ville et au port.L'accueil chaleureux, la disponibilité permanente et la gentillesse de Annick et de Florent ajoute encore un plus au séjour.

Maison très sympathique et super équipée

Simple de l'extérieur, une fois la porte franchie on découvre une maison accueillante et très bien équipée. Tout y est pensé pour votre confort! La piscine est très agréable. Les propriétaires sont à côté mais restent autant discrets que disponibles! Nous y retournerons avec le plus grand plaisir!

Familienurlaub in einem Haus, fast wie zu hause

Unser Aufenthalt war rund um gelungen. Das Ferienhaus, Garten und Pool boten uns alles, was wir brauchten um uns wohl zu fühlen. Vom Check in bis zum check out waren wir gut aufgehoben. Das Haus ist sehr sauber, die Einrichtung und das Equipment ließ keine Wünsche offen. Annick und Florent sind sehr angenehme Gastgeber, Sie gaben uns das Gefühl stets ansprechbar zu sein und zwar in einer sehr diskreten Art und Weise! Das gesamte Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt und der Außenbereich, Garten und Pool ist mit allem bestückt was das Herz begehrt. Tolle Liegen mit Auflagen, Spielzeug für Kleinkinder, Schwimmhilfe sogar für Babys fanden wir dort vor. Wir können diese Location uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen. Die Beschreibung auf Ferienwohnung-direkt.de trifft exakt auf das Angebot zu. Unser Aufenthalt dauerte eine Woche, wir waren vom 01.06.2024 bis zum 08.06.2024 dort und können uns gut vorstellen dieses Haus erneut zu buchen.

Jolie petite maison bien agencée et meublée, la piscine est un vrai plus !

L'agencement est pragmatique (coin nuit séparé du coin jour : séjour et de la piscine) avec 2 salles de bain. La décoration est moderne et de bon goût, la cuisine est pleine d'ustensiles dont on manque en général en location. Il est possible de faire sa lessive. La terrasse est agréable, avec table, chaises, barbecue et parasol. La piscine est suffisamment grande pour nager et la profondeur n'excède pas la taille humaine : transats et parasols sont fournis. Un petit bémol sur la localisation qui n'est pas aussi proche du Vieux Port que nous le pensions et nécessite d'y aller en voiture. A contrario, c'est un bon point de départ pour aller visiter les alentours de la Rochelle + ou - loin : ile de Ré à 1/2heure, ile d'Oléron à 1h, moins de 2 heures du Puy du Fou et du Futuroscope. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et attentifs à ce qui ne fonctionne pas. Tout ceci a rendu notre séjour à 5 (parents, 2 jeunes filles de 20 et 22 ans et le grand-père) agréable, convivial et serein. Nous recommandons.

Top-Ausstattung und Gastfreundschaft

Wir haben noch nie in einem so gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus gewohnt, angefangen bei einer hochwertig eingerichteten Küche (sogar die Messer sind scharf!), modernen Bädern, gut gepolsterten Betten, gutem Wlan und modernem TV bis hin zu einem blitzblanken Pool. Sonnenschirme, Liegen, Grill, Ventilatoren in allen Schlafzimmern, an alles ist gedacht. Der angenehm beheizte Pool grenzt an das Grundstück der Vermieter, die während unseres Aufenthalts lediglich für die Poolreinigung gesorgt haben. Wir hatten den Pool also ganz für uns alleine. Die Vermieter sind ein herzliches, gastfreundliches Ehepaar, die sehr hilfsbereit sind und uns sogar mit frisch geernteten Kirschen vom Baum beschenkt haben. Eine gute Bäckereiund Metzgerei sind fußläufig erreichbar, auch Supermärkte gibt es in der Nähe. Empfehlenswert für den Besuch der Altstadt und des Hafens sind die gelben Leihräder, die u.a. in der Nähe stationiert sind, zu Fuß war uns der Weg von der Vorstadt aus zu weit. Wir hatten mit unseren Teenager-Kindern eine schöne Woche in diesem absolut empfehlenswerten Ferienhaus!

Nous avons passé une semaine en famille dans cette maison parfaitement équipée : literie, linge de toilette et de lit, équipement de cuisine, produits d entretien tout est de qualité. La maison est située au calme et point de départ de nombreuses promenades à pieds, vélo. La piscine est un plus très agréable et une fois encore très bien équipée : transat, matelas. Wonderful holiday home in La Rochelle

We were very excited to come to La Rochelle and stay in this delightful holiday home. We were not disappointed. Florent and Annick are wonderful hosts and we appreciated the thoughtful gifts they provided as well as the helpful advice about local markets, cycling routes on Ile de Ré, etc. The house was spotlessly clean and spacious and was very well equipped for our stay, with everything catered for. My children enjoyed the swimming pool and we appreciated being able to use the BBQ. The home is located about 1.5 miles outside of La Rochelle in a quiet neighbourhood. It's possible to walk into town but it's also very easy to use the Yélo bikes which are available everywhere. From the high quality of the accommodation to the friendliness of the owners (not forgetting the pleasant sunshine!), we could not have had a better week in La Rochelle. Highly recommended!

Quelle belle maison !

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine avec nos 2 filles de 18 ans. La maison est au calme, mais près de tout (5 minutes de l'hypercentre en transports). Le coin piscine est très agréable, c'est vraiment très appréciable en ville. Les propriétaires sont charmants, disponibles, nous recommandons vivement et reviendrons avec plaisir. Location conforme aux descriptions. Tout est très propre et bien entretenu. Très bien équipée. Aucun problème pour cuisiner et manger pour 6 personnes. Un excellent accueil. Les propriétaires sont gentils et toujours prêts à vous aider et/ou à vous conseiller. Des commerces de proximité et comptez 25 minutes à pied pour le cœur du vieux La Rochelle. Sinon quelques minutes en voiture avec un stationnement devant la maison. Un très bon séjour en famille où l’on a pu notamment profiter de la piscine. On recommande vivement.

Ein zweites Zuhause

Unsere Erwartungen wurden um ein Vielfaches übertroffen! Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und funktionell eingerichtet. Es fehlt an rein gar nichts, noch dazu ist es sehr sauber. Annick und Florent sind tolle Gastgeber, die uns wertvolle Tipps gegeben haben. Die Lage ist ruhig, so dass wir nachts prima schlafen konnten. Unweit vom Haus ist ein Bäcker mit leckeren Croissants und Baguettes, ein paar Minuten Fahrt bis Intermarché oder zum Hafen. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen!

Literally just walked back into our own home and had to add a review.... Clean, bright & perfect. Situated in a quieter, residential area of La Rochelle, it was still only minutes away from all the main 'stuff'! Lovely small pool, but plenty big enough for our family of 4! Everything you could need is supplied by the owners (who live next door), who were friendly and helpful. We can't come up with a single negative - except possibly it's not nearer the centre etc - but that was perfect for us - so not a negative in our case!! Although we never had an issue with parking, beware that the area was never built for cars, so the roads in the immediate area are generally narrow with a LOT of 90 degree, blind turns - but as long as you take care, it really isn't an issue! The area as a whole is beautiful - the old harbour is a must along with a magnificent Aquarium, as is the Île de Ré and much more. Perfect accommodation in a perfect area - can't recommend highly enough. Ideal for adults or families.

Nous avons séjourné une semaine en famille dont un bébé de 14 mois cette maison est très propre et très agréable tout est plein pieds cela est très pratique la piscine est séparée par une barrière (parfait pour la sécurité si vous venez avec des enfants) Que dire de plus le propriétaire et la dame qui gère le départ sont très gentils et à notre écoute. Nous y retournerons c'est certain.

Excellent séjour

Accueil charmant des propriétaires avec de délicates attentions. L’endroit est très calme et proche du centre ville. La maison est hyper bien équipée et la piscine après les randonnées à vélo est super agréable. En clair nous recommandons cet endroit.

Why they chose this property

In 2010, we bought the house next door to our main household and then renovated it entirely in 2011.
We thought the construction so that the two houses would be totally independent and only would communicate in the swimming pool area.

What makes this property unique

This house is a mix between the charm of a vintage construction and the modernism of its decoration.
It is ideally located to discover La Rochelle and its region.
We thought of it as if we were going to install ourselves in it and you'll find all the necessary comfort for a successful stay.
