Ermioni Seaside House (authorized by G.N.T.O.)

The property is a village house with an astounding view from the large terrace. The house originates from the 30’s and has been recently renovated with respect to tradition. It is located in a peaceful neighbor in front of the sea, near the piney peninsula of Ermioni named “Bisti” and within a walking distance from the village center (taverns, shops, super-markets, nightlife, banks, bakeries). Several coves to swim are nearby, among which the pebbly one (Maderi) at the backside of the house and the wonderful ones at “Bisti”. Every location is within a five minute walking distance from the house.
It is a full working house that consists of a ground floor and an attic. On the ground floor there is a master bedroom with a double bed, a comfort living room with two sofa-beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a hall used as a dining room and a private bathroom. In the attic, there is a second bedroom with a double bed and another room with two single beds. The house is equipped with three air conditioners and a fan. All furniture and decor originate simplicity, providing a unique character with warmth and friendly atmosphere. At the exterior, the big veranda has outdoor furniture and a charcoal barbeque. There is also a beautiful garden. It is shady, ideal for relaxing and admiring the sea view and the sunset.
It is the perfect place for peaceful and relaxing vacations and that is why, it represents a unique destination for families and couples. The house is fully equipped for a pleasant stay because we love our guests to feel like home and enjoy to the fullest their vacations.

Lovely house in a lovely place

We spent a great week in this house. Ermioni is very nice, the house is ideally located in a quiet place though very close to places to swim and close to the center of the village. The house is clean, comfortable, the view on the sea is fantastic. Highly recommended. Anna and her son are very friendly and helpful.

Jolie maison sur la mer

Anna et Dimitri ont été adorables et tres a l ecoute Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette maison si accueillante joliment décorée ,dans le souci du détail, très bien équipée et si propre. Brilliante Unterkunft

Das Haus ist äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gut sortiert. Olivenöl, Honig, selbstgemachte Marmeladen, Kaffee, Tee, tolle getrocknete Kräuter und Gewürze sowie kühle Getränke standen bei Ankunft für uns bereit. Tolle Plätze zum schnorcheln (Schnorchelsachen sind im Haus)Nachts sind manch coole Mopedfahrer unterwegs die gerne den Auspuff dröhnen lassen.

A long delayed holiday that was well worth the wait

We were meant to stay in the seaside house in June 2020 but were unable to do so because of the global pandemic. We rebooked the house for two weeks in late September 2022. The booking process was quick and easy, and the rental agreement was well drafted. Anna the owner and her son Dimitris answered our numerous questions very promptly and were a mine of information. The WhatsApp group they set-up was an invaluable way of communicating with them while we were staying in Ermioni. We got to the house at about 11.00 pm and Anna and Dimitris were there to welcome us and settle us into the charming house. The home-made preserves, Ouzo, Mastiha Spirit, Olive oils (from their estate), bottled water and fruit basket which they gave us as an arrival gift was extremely welcome and delicious. The view that we woke up to was breath-taking and we never tired of sitting on the veranda watching the sea and the passage of fishing boats, yachts, and ferries in the bay. The water was very clear and warm enough for an invigorating swim. We have rented many properties worldwide from Vrbo in the past but found the facilities, fixtures and fittings in this charming house second to none. Ermioni itself is an excellent place to stay, with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops and is an excellent base to explore the Peloponnese. We visited some hidden beaches recommended by Dimitris and spent several pleasant days relaxing on the pristine beaches and swimming in the clear waters of the Saronic Gulf. We had such a wonderful holiday in this beautiful house in Ermioni and the good times we had there will live long in our memories. Thank you, Anna & Dimitris. Alison, Lauren, Dave & Ray

Ein traumhaftes Haus in optimaler Lage!

Wir haben 13 Augustnächte in dem wunderschön gelegenen Haus verbracht. Die Übergabe und der Kontakt zu den Vermietern waren so herzlich und unkompliziert wie schon mehrfach in Bewertungen beschrieben. Der gesamte Ablauf – inklusive der überwältigenden Haus-Broschüre – war absolut professionell und durchdacht. Die geschmackvoll eingerichtete Unterkunft ist umfassend ausgestattet und bietet tatsächlich sämtliche Dinge, die man braucht. Überrascht waren wir, wie ordentlich, sauber und gepflegt alles war. Das untere Schlafzimmer ist ein separater Raum, die oberen Schlafbereiche sind nicht durch eine Tür abgetrennt. Die Klimaanlagen gewährleisten auch in heißen Sommernächten einen angenehmen Schlaf. Küchenzeile und Bad sind zwar etwas beengt, für zwei Personen jedoch völlig ok. Die Lage des Hauses ist optimal: Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Tavernen sind fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar, dennoch liegt es relativ ruhig am Ortsrand. Die Freiflächen ums Haus sind geräumig und bieten einen traumhaften Blick auf das 10 Meter entfernte Meer, ohne dass die am Ufer flanierenden Menschen oder die vorbeifahrenden Autos allzu sehr stören. Sehr komfortabel ist der auf dem Grundstück befindliche Auto-Stellplatz. Aber Vorsicht: Phasenweise wird in der Seitenstraße so geparkt, dass das Ein- oder Ausfahren nicht mehr möglich ist. Wir waren schon etliche Male in Griechenland und haben hier schon viele Häuser gemietet; die Unterkunft in Ermioni übertrifft aber in vielerlei Hinsicht alles Bisherige!

Fabulous house in great location

We simply loved our week in this gorgeous quiet house. The photos don’t do it justice! The owners have thought of everything you might need for your stay down to a bottle of their own olive oil and their homemade preserves. The village has many good restaurants as well as a small number of excellent shops (including decent sized supermarket) in walking distance and swimming from the little beach below the house as well as from the bisti peninsula was just a dream. And there are some stunning larger beaches a short drive away. We heartily recommend the house and would love to visit again.

We had eleven beautiful days in Anna’s lovely House. A great spot with a great view, perfekt location close to the city and Beach right across the House . Wunderschöner Blick, sehr liebevolles Haus

Wir haben 10 Tage in diesem sehr netten Häuschen sehr genossen. Perfekte Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern, wir wurden extrem freundlich begrüßt, haben Wein, Marmelade, Oliven, Obst und und und bekommen. Im Haus ist alles da, was man braucht, vom Toilettenpapier über Waschmittel bis hin zum Kaffee… Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet mit vielen netten Details. Am besten ist eindeutig der Blick von der Terrasse. Der Ort ist sehr nett, ein kleiner funktionierender Ort, viele schöne Restaurants zur Auswahl.

Douceur, bien être, comme à la maison

Super séjour chez Anna. L’une des plus ancienne maison d’Ermioni. Terrasse super, intérieur propre et décoré avec goût. A quelques pas des restaurants, juste assez pour ne pas subir le bruit! La plage à pied. Bref, nous conseillons vivement et serons heureux d’y revenir. Merci!

Amazing villa in a gorgeous location

very charming and extremely well set up

Dimitris and his mother (anna) have thought of everything you could possible need to enjoy your stay in this lovely cottage, which is ideally located for all that Ermioni has to offer. there is plenty of outdoor space, they even left us charcoal and fire lighters to enjoy the BBQ plus everything you could need in the kitchen. It was extremely hot (over 40 degrees) during our stay so the a/c in the bedroom and living room were especially welcome. We loved it! Highly recommend.

Superbe location.

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans cette très belle location. La terrasse possède une vue magnifique dont on ne se lasse pas. L’accueil d’Anna est très chaleureux. Je recommande vivement cette location sans hésiter.

Petit coin de Grèce

Petite maison typique et charmante avec la clim et tout le confort , une jolie terrasse avec une très belle vue sur mer et alentours ! Nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement par la propriétaire et avons passé une semaine super agréable , bains de mer et visite de la région au programme . A recommander impérativement si vous voulez visiter le Péloponnèse !

AMAZING Traditional Greek Home

This property was a highlight of our Greek vacation. Anna and her son Dimitris met us at the property and welcomed us with a table of local goodies including their own olive oil and homemade preserves. The house is simple but has so many personal touches it felt luxurious. The kitchen is stocked with all kinds of cooking utensils and gear that was more than sufficient to cook meals. On Dimitris' recommendation, we visited the Thursday market and purchased fresh fish, fruits and vegetables and made use of the outdoor grill on a daily basis. Our favorite part of the day was sitting on the covered porch, having coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening, watching boats come and go in the harbor. It was an easy walk to the park where we had a favorite swimming hole. There are lots of grocery shops in town including an AB Market. Ermioni was central for us to take the hydrofoil to Idra, a water taxi from Kosta to Spetses and see the sights in Nafplio and Corinth. When making the reservation, we were required to wire half the rental cost. I get uneasy about doing this kind of transaction and the only reason I mention it is that we had absolutely no issues advancing the funds. We were able to say goodbye to Anna and Dimitris during our last evening in Athens. They are a very generous and kind family and couldn’t have been better hosts. So – YES, rent this amazing home. It will be a highlight of YOUR Greek vacation.

Mooi gelegen woning met heerlijk terras.

We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen door Anna en haar zoon. Ze had fruit, honing, jam, olijfolie en Ouzo voor ons neer gezet. Het is een heel gezellig, schoon en leuk ingericht huis. Het huis ligt aan de baai. Vanaf het terras heb je een prachtig uitzicht op het water. Je kunt voor het huis gaan zwemmen maar aan de andere kant (paar minuten lopen) is het fijner zwemmen. Het terras is heerlijk ruim en schaduwrijk. Helaas hadden wij (zeer uitzonderlijk) niet zo'n mooi weer. Je kunt uitstapjes maken naar Hydra (schitterend eiland) en Spetses, maar op het terras en aan het water bij het huis is het net zo heerlijk!

An amazing property - just as described

The pictures can't quite do justice to the delight of waking up each morning with the sound of lapping water from the beach just across the sea front road in front of this beautifully renovated cottage. Anna and her son were standing by on our arrival and there was a huge plate of fresh fruit that lasted the 5 of us most of the week as well as preserves and a bottle of Ouzo! There is a good size shower room, a well equipped kitchenette and an extensive veranda with very effective (charcoal) BBQ. There were beach towels, an airbed and masks and snorkels for use on the beach. Air conditioning worked very well. The amazing thing about the cottage is that it manages to be peaceful and private while only being 5 minutes walk from shops and tavernas in this lively port with catamarans from Athens, lots of tourist yachts and local fishing boats too. We ate out several times and the food was good traditional Greek cuisine. Two things to be aware of - the nearby beaches are pebbles, not soft sand so you'll want water shoes and they're probably not great for younger children. Bedroom 3 comes off Bedroom 2 without a door and there is no door at the top of the stairs leading to Bedroom 2 - if privacy is a big deal to you maybe this isn't the place for you. We went with a daughter and son-in-law and another daughter and all managed fine. If you want a lazy break in beautiful surroundings with all you need within walking distance then this is the place for you. We took day trips to Corinth, Nafplio and Palaia Epidavros all of which are well worth visiting. The Greek people are generally very friendly and even the driving style is much more patient than in France and Italy. One anecdote - we got caught in the rain exploring Ermioni and were invited in to wait for it to stop by a local maths teacher who gave us water to drink and introduced us to his daughter who had just been to the UK for a 2 week summer course. Would we recommend Ermioni and Anna's cottage? DEFINITELY!

Location et accueil de trés haute qualité

Notre séjour à Ermioni a été l'un des moments forts de notre périple en Grèce par la qualité de l'accueil d'Anna SVIRILI et de sa maison. Il s'agit d'une ancienne maison de pêcheurs parfaitement rénovée et très agréable (terrasses ombragées, BBQ, clim ...). Sa terrasse principale offre une magnifique vue sur le golfe d'Ermioni, la maison se trouve à quelques mètres du centre du village, de ses ports, et de ses lieux de baignades. La maison est parfaitement équipée. L'accueil de Mme SVIRILI est formidable (bouteilles d'eaux fraiches, confitures maison et huile d'olive "maison"). Nous recommandons cette location sans réserves.
