We have had the pleasure of staying at Papas place twice now, and the second time was as enjoyable as the first stay. Communication was quick and easy. The cabin is perfect with everything you need for a cozy stay. We had a blast fishing the stocked pond!We hope to visit again one day. Thank You for another memorable stay!

This was our second stay at Stacy Ranch. A really peaceful, beautiful location that is secluded but still minutes from town. We had a small problem with the shower but upon us notifying them, the host responded quickly and resolved the issue. We will definitely stay at this property again.

The perfect base of operations to explore Ingram, Kerrville, Fredericksburg and surrounds. Clean cabin with all the basics provided for. Especially enjoyed everything supplied for the BBQ. Our kids ran out the door every morning to fish and caught a sizeable (story for life) bass in the pond. Best suited to those looking to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. A run around the property track is a 2.5 km loop with a couple hundred feet of elevation, and a load of deer too. The Mercantile sells English muffins to die for in The Old Loop Trail in Ingram; and downtown Kerrville has a great coffee shop called Pookie’s. Hiking the less travelled and lower route at Enchanted Rock we’ll have you meet nobody while you look across at ‘Hillary’s Step’ at rush hour. 10/10 would stay here again. The only noise was wind chimes from miles away and the occasional laughter from people on the wind. The theatrical low-water driveways across the Guadalupe River and the property stream felt novel too.

Best Anniversary Ever!

If you like the outdoors, seclusion, quiet, starlit nights, beautiful views and good fishing then Papa's Palace is perfect. My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary there and we can't wait to go back.

This place is a gem!

We had a wonderful time in this little cabin. It was completely secluded, peaceful, and serene. At dusk each night, a whippoorwill started singing and we saw several deer. The sunsets were amazing! It was very comfortable and relaxing.

Cozy and Clean

The property was exactly what we wanted for our trip. We took plenty of walks and spent some time swimming with the very social fish in the lake. We would definitely love to stay here again in the future. If you're staying in the warmer months though mosquito spray will be your best friend.

Hi Kyle your are right, the mosquitos were bad for a few weeks due to the rain in May, but with a dry July they are all gone thankfully. Come back in the fall, end of September is the best

Great private rental!

My kids enjoyed the pond the best and the freedom that all the open space provided. There were clear cool star filled nights and a perfect sitting porch. The cabin is simple, clean and perfect for a small family. Next trip I hope to have friends secure the second cabin on the property.

Very Peaceful and Beautiful

My wife and I had a very relaxing time at Stacy Ranch, we fished for about 4 hours and caught perch after perch and threw them back in. While there we watch a thgunder storm roll in through the valley, it was awesome!

A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle.

This place is quiet, peaceful and great to explore. We enjoyed feeding the different fish and turtle watching in the pond. We explored the 120 acres and sighted wild turkeys, deers, birds, and small frogs. It was a great getaway from the city. Beautiful sunrise and setsunt over the hills was a bonus. Definelty going to book again in the near future.
