If you need to 'chill out' away from the mouse-wheel of the UK for a quiet peaceful holiday - or to base here for a more active holiday La Huttiere welcomes you.

Weit und breit nur wunderbare Natur! Man erreicht diese völlig ruhig und idyllysch gelegene Unterkunft mit dem Auto über eine Schotterpiste und findet eine gemütlich eingerichtete Scheune vor mit schöner Terrasse und Swimmingpool. Unsere Kinder sind trotz schlechten Wetters mehrfach am Tag reingesprungen - er ist nicht zu groß, sodass sie auch stehen konnten. Nebenan wohnen andere Urlauber, mit denen man den Pool teilt. Wer Ruhe, Natur und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Um in die umliegenden Städte zu kommen, braucht man aber auf jeden Fall ein Auto.

Gite Lily at Chigne 49490 France

The Gite was exactly as advertised and we were very pleased not only with the gite but the location as only a short drive to the town of Le Lude with shops , restaurants etc, Howard the owner was on hand if needed and very helpful we will certainly revisit again and I have no hesitation to recommend to family and friends

Merveilleux séjour, hôte adorable et disponible. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine et les parents aussi ! Logement magnifique, parfait compromis entre confort et vie rurale. Voiture obligatoire mais beaucoup d'activités et de commerces à moins de 30mn.

Une famille charmante qui était un hôte parfait et nous avons été ravis de les accueillir. Ils seraient invités à rester avec nous à tout moment A lovely family who were perfect guests and we were most pleased to accommodate them. They would be welcome to stay with us at anytime

We moved here from the village of Upchurch in Kent - as we had visited the area on many occasions and decided that we would love to live here and enjoy the very different and slower way of life to that of the UK ( although still like the UK )

Why they chose this property

We stumbled across this property and immediately loved it and saw the potential with the very large barn for a conversion into two Gites in a very rural area but only a few minutes drive to a host of various activities

What makes this property unique

Large and spacious living and sleeping area - unique location at our local bar and restaurant -- a five course lunch with a litre of wine French stick etc - only 11.50 euros ideally based for motor racing etc at Le Mans - ( 35 minutes drive ) Tours airport and all manor of exciting things to do and see. Zoo - Botanical gardens - the magnificent scientific themed Futuroscope the list goes on ---
