Private, peaceful and safe, Tranquille Cottage has the best of what the mountains have to offer.

Tranquille (French for tranquil) is located between Blue Ridge and Blairsville, in the north Georgia mountains, immediately off of 4 lane highway Ga 515/76,. Privately located in a safe, gated subdivision yet less than 5 miles from shopping, restaurants, hiking, the Appalacian Trail and other mountain recreation. Only minutes to boating and great fishing on Lake Nottely, Lake Blue Ridge and Lake Chatuge.

The cottage has a gourmet, chef's kitchen and appliances; a living room w large flat-screen TV and fireplace; a plush bedroom w a queen memory foam mattress and large flat-screen TV; a grand marble bathroom with two sinks, a large, custom shower, and heated floors; washer and dryer; a glass porch with heated floors; a covered outdoor deck with a gas grill and table and chairs; beautiful, treed acreage w small stream.

The cabin description was spot on, extremely clean, close to good restaurants. It was conveniently located between Blue Ridge and Blairsville. The owners were great and gave good advice on local eats. The roads leading to the cabin was easy to drive and it was right off the main highway. We added this to our favorite list of places to stay. I highly recommend this cabin for anniversary trips and couples getaway.

Our home away from home

We had stayed here more than once and it is the ONLY place we stay when we travel to Blairsville and Blue Ridge. It is close to everything, easy to find and the place has so much charm. I would give it all the stars if I could!

Home Away From Home

Quiet secluded in the woods. It was a very Peaceful stay only Deer, bird’s & squirrels were seen on the Property that no and beautiful property. The Back porch was new addition to the house. It was nice to sit out back & just enjoyed the nature & the Property. the bathroom was very beautiful. The kitchen was up-to-date with modern standards and easy to access the tools needed to cook. Linda and I are very happy with the stay and we will return in the future.

Amazing Cottage

This cottage and property are amazing! The location could not be in a better place. Just a short drive to downtown Blairsville and Blue Ridge is only about 20 minutes away. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time!

Lisa and I are both semi-retired but seem busier than ever. We owned and operated Georgia Dance Conservatory in Marietta; she was the dancer/teacher and I changed the light bulbs. Now that we have retired from the dance business, when we are not with our children and grandchildren, Lisa and her sister create art pieces (Sisters Art) that they display and sell. In my "spare time", I sell and install flagpoles through my company U. S. Made Flagpoles (Mountain Flagpoles, Acadian Flagpoles, & Flags 4 Texas)..

Our biggest enjoyment, however, comes from living in the Blue Ridge mountains near Blairsville, GA. Not only is the pace slower, the temperature is lower. Thank God for these beautiful mountains!

Why they chose this property

Tranquille Cottage is named after the French word for tranquil. Enough said! My blood pressure drops when I drive into the driveway and I am betting yours will too. Located in the "Land of beautiful mountains and friendly people", Tranquille Cottage offers the solitude of the mountains and, at the same time, the convenience to all that the area has to offer. Within 30 minutes are the Appalachian Trail; numerous waterfalls and hiking trails; three glorious lakes and an untold number of creeks and rivers; Richard Russel Scenic Parkway; and Brasstown Bald, which is the highest point in Georgia. Within 15 minutes are wonderful restaurants, great shopping, and other special attractions.
