7 beds, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, huge balcony, 30m from slope, quiet, 1km town

THE SPACE:

Downstairs are 3 bedrooms: first with two single beds , second with a double bed and third with three single beds. Upstairs is a large open plan area including dining room, living room and kitchen. Beautiful views of the mountain all around and huge balcony around the upstairs section surrounding the entire house. Great both in winter and summer!

SKI ACCESS:

In winter, ski-in to 30 metres from the door and ski out by walking 50 metres up a gentle hill and skiing to the La Turche ski lift (which accesses the rest of Les Gets and the entire Portes du Soleil).

GUEST ACCESS:

The house is fully furnished. Kitchen includes fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, all kitchen necessities. Bedrooms have all the bedding needed, including towels. There is also internet TV with "Orange TV" (including Netflix) and unlimited free wifi.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS:

The house is rented on its own. We have a company that cleans and handles other details on location.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD:

La Turche is the perfect neighbourhood in Les Gets. Only 1km from the centre of the village, it is however extremely quiet both in summer and winter. Ski-in, ski-out in winter is wonderful as you do not need a car to get around, plus the bus passes by right in front of the building to take you to the village centre if you don't want to walk the leisurely route. La Turche also has a little centre with restaurants and ski hire.

GETTING AROUND:

The bus passes by every 30 minutes and takes you to the village centre and all other points in Les Gets (every 15 minutes during Christmas/NY and Feb school holidays). The house has a garage where you can leave your car indoors if you want, although there is plenty of parking on the road too. Walking the the village centre takes 5-10 minutes and it's a gentle hill all the way down/up.

Fab location, short wall to town

Nice place to stay, we loved being walking distance to town. Kitchen fully equipped and comfortable beds. Only thing would change are stairs as steep.. and had to be careful.

Lovely house

Everything you could need was in this property. Not for anyone with mobility issues though, stairs are horrendously steep and hard to get up and down, they are more like a ladder.

Spacious, quiet, well-equipped appartment, the place to be in Les Gets

The town center was in walking distance, the appartment was very well equipped and also a parking slot for the car was available. It is close to nature, with a big terrace, and we very much enjoyed our time in the cosy appartment and outside. What we also liked very much is that the owner is super-nice and always available for exchange of information. We will definitely come back!

Great appartment at edge of Les Gets

We loved our stay at this appartment - it is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped and holds everything you need. Skibus stop is very close and you can also walk with your skis to the lift if you like (uphill) - and ski back to very close to the appartment. The balcony is in the sun around lunch time. Highly recommended!

lovely little place

Lovely place, stairs downstairs where a bit of a challenge but once you got used to it fine. It was a little bit far from the town for us, and also we had problems with wifi and TV controls - but we decided to go out instead. Otherwise all good. The owner let us check in early and out later which was really cool and much appreciated

Excellent Apartment

Lovely clean spacious apartment. Very well equipped and amazing location. Really great communication with the owner and very easy to access. Everything has been thought of here, from kitchen equipment, to board games, books and comfort. I would highly recommend. The stairs may look daunting but my 74 year old mother managed them easily, you just need to take your time.

Appartement avec beaucoup de charme, très bien équipé et à 10 minutes à pieds environ du centre du village. La pièce à vivre est spacieuse et très chaleureuse. Le coin chambres/salles de bains/WC - en sous-sol - est pratique mais nécessite d’être bien aéré et chauffé. Attention : l’échelle de meunier à pas japonais qui relie le coin chambres à la pièce à vivre est plutôt raide et pas forcément accessible à tout le monde. La propriétaire est très cordiale et toujours disponible. C’est très appréciable.

Merci pour votre avis, Michel. Je suis désolé pour le cricket (dont vous avez dit dans les communications avec moi, n'était qu'un seul cricket). La société de nettoyage qui a nettoyé juste après votre départ n'a rien entendu et les clinets qui sont arrivés le lendemain de votre départ non plus. Je leur ai demandé spécifiquement à tous les deux et ils n'ont certainement rien entendu du tout. Les escaliers sont raides, et cela est noté sur le profil, y compris les photos. Je sais que vous et votre femme êtes des personnes âgées et que vous avez peut-être trouvé cela plus difficile que la plupart, mais c'est clairement indiqué avant de réserver. En ce qui concerne les chambres froides, je ne sais pas pourquoi car il y a des radiateurs dans chacune d'elles, et ceux-ci réchauffent complètement les chambres. Vous êtes venu en été et nous avons des gens qui viennent en hiver et cela n'a jamais été une plainte. Dans l'ensemble, je suis désolé que vous ayez vécu cela, mais faites confiance à ceux qui viendront après vous seront à l'aise. Merci.

Excellent spacious apartment

We’ve just returned from staying one week in this lovely apartment. The layout was perfect for our family and we felt we had plenty of space. The apartment is really well equipped with good quality items. We especially appreciated the quality of the cooking equipment, saucepans and plates as we like to cook our own food in the evening. The stairs are steep, but you very quickly get used to them and go slowly holding the handrail. I would definitely stay here again.

Sehr schöne und geräumige Wohnung in ruhiger Lage

Die Wohnung liegt ein wenig oberhalb von Les Gets Zentrum, welches gut fußläufig zu erreichen ist. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und die Wohnung bietet genug Platz für 3-5 Personen. Zu siebt wäre es etwas eng. Die Terasse ist wirklich groß. Auf jeden Fall für einen Bike Urlaub zu empfehlen. Die Räder kann man bequem in der Garage einschließen.

Great Apartment!

Everything was perfect. We had a great time, and didn't miss anything. Would recommend the place to everyone who is looking for a nice escape in les gets, especially when planning to go Mountainbiking.

great flat in Les Gest

Only 5 minutes away from the center of the village by foot, 5 minutes away from the lake "lac des écoles" which is a great place in summer, the flat offers every things you need. Large rooms with many sleeping options, 2 bathrooms, fully equiped kitchen and great living space. You will enjoy the sun on the large terrasse and a sunset on the valley. Huenu is a great tenant, she accompanied me and was really reactive when I needed. She cared and made our stay a great moment. I can only recommend to try !!!
