A few minutes south of Bordeaux, among the prestigious vineyards of Graves and Sauternes, fully renovated stone house overlooking large park in the quiet countryside. Quick access by highway or by train (Cérons station).
3 stars ranking in 2018 by Gironde Tourisme, independent certification body.
The house was renovated in a tasteful and comfortable spirit. Light tones of lime paints are mixed with old stone, exposed beams and wooden floors.
2 double beds each with bathroom and walk-in shower, sitting area and equipped ground floor kitchen.
Non-smoking accommodation.
TV, Wifi internet access.
Free access to the park, garden furniture, barbecue, ping pong. Quiet, greenery and relaxation assured.

Accueillant petit gîte très bien décoré et aménagé. Grand jardin avec de magnifiques rosiers sous lesquels il fait bon se détendre après une journée à sillonner les châteaux. Idéal pour découvrir la région des Graves et des Sauternes. Hôtes bienveillants et attentifs. Tout est réuni pour un séjour parfait.

Ruhig und doch zentral gelegen

Liebevoll restauriert und idyllisch gelegen. In ruhiger Lage und doch für die Erkundung des Bordeaux central gelegen. Ohne Fahrzeug geht es aber bei den Entfernungen nicht. Mit dem Zug ist man in 20 Min. in Bordeaux. Zum Atlantik ca. 1Std., lohnt sich aber. Nette Vermieter, Hühner und Ente inclusive. Sehr viel Freiraum auf dem Grundstück. 😄

La maison est très bien équipée, propre et la déco chaleureuse, comme les propriétaires qui nous ont réservé un excellent accueil. Situation au calme mais proche de toutes les commodités. Fantastic countryside gite

My wife and I had a fantastic time at Guillaume and Isabelle's wonderful and amazingly tranquil property. Both were fabulously friendly and helpful and their property was a dream. We hope to go back!

Hemos pasado unos dias estupendos!La casita es muy acogedora, con muy buen gusto decorada.Nos encanto el gran jardin y la zona rural donde se asienta. Tambien nos gusto la proximidad a Burdeos y a los Chateau de la zona,vimos varios, y quedaron muchos por visitar. Por ultimo,agradecer la hospitalidad y amabilidad de los propietarios,que en todo momento se esforzaron por hacernos la estancia agrable.

Liebevoll restauriertes Häuschen

Die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend und geben viele Ausflugtipps. Das Gebäude ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und restauriert. Der Garten kann mitgenutzt werden. Es gibt Gartentisch und -stühle sowie Sonnenliegen. Sehr ruhig und erholsam. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Excellent séjour

Très agréable séjour, le gîte est un petit paradis décoré avec beaucoup de soin et de goût. Bravo aux Propriétaires. Je recommande cet endroit , beaucoup de commodités sont à proximité. Entre autre la gare de Cérons pour aller visiter la ville de Bordeaux. Peut-être à bientôt , nous n’hésiterons pas à retourner dans ce même gîte où nous sommes toujours très bien accueillis. Lovely and cosy gite!

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom gite was small, but beautifully furnished and immaculate. The kitchen was equipped with all modern appliances and conveniences we needed, so it was easy to cook any meal on the premises. Owners were very hospitable and helpful in showing us around the gite. We really appreciated the fresh eggs from the chickens that roam the property. Only downside was tempermental wifi---very spotty. Otherwise, an extremely enjoyable stay.Thanks so much!

Quiet and calm

A very stylish and beautifully restored property, but not the large house shown on the publicity (this is the owner's), rather a much smaller one on the side. It was rather cramped downstairs as we had poor weather and were obliged to eat and relax indoors (e.g. only comfortable seating for 2) If the weather is good, it would be fine, having a table and chairs for 4 and 4 reclining chairs in the large grounds. The owners were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property is very well equipped, though we would expect to be given more toilet rolls, bigger bath towels, and a thinner choice of bedcover (it was quite warm at night) as well as the duvets. It has very easy access to the motorway system, transport into Bordeaux, supermarkets and restaurants, while being in a very quiet area. It would benefit from a patio area in front of the property (no doubt this will be done in time) as the rainy weather we experienced made the grass wet and a bit muddy under the outside table.

ESCAPADE EN AQUITAINE

Nous avons passé 4 jours dans ce gite en tous points conforme à la description. La décoration est très soignée. Le jardin immense est idéal pour se ressourcer après une journée de visite. La localisation permet de rayonner sur le département. Nous avons visité Bordeaux en y accédant par le tramway (parking relais de Bègles à 20 mn). Nos hôtes nous ont accueilli chaleureusement et n'ont pas manqué de nous donner des indications sur les points forts touristiques et les commodités commerciales. Nous recommandons cette location et nous y penserons en cas de retour sur cette région. FAMIILE DAHIREL

Süßes, romatisches Landhaus

Auf unserer dreiwöchigen Reise durch Frankreich hatten wir fünf wunderschöne Tage (Mein Mann, Sohn (3) und ich) in Merle. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und haben uns herzlichst empfangen. Sie sprechen beide ein gutes Englisch und konnten uns somit viele Tipps für die Umgebung geben. Die Unterkunft ist wie abgebildet stilvoll und mit liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es gibt eine Küche und oben zwei Zimmer mit jeweils einem Bad. So kann man das gesamte Objekt mieten (so wie wir) oder es als Bed & Breakfast genutzt werden. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Das gesamte Anwesen ist sehr romantisch und wir haben es genossen abends draußen zu sitzen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Unser Sohn war begeistert von der Tochter (vll. 10) der Besitzer und Sie hat sehr geduldig mit ihm gespielt. Ausflugsziele gibt es (mit dem Auto) reichlich. Wir waren in Bourdox, Arcachon, St. Emilion und auf der Dune du Pilat. Ich würde die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen, allerdings nur, wenn man es klein und gemütlich mag.
