Magnificent Lakefront Retreat set on private, heavily wooded 2 acres with 200 feet of frontage on "all sports" Lake 27. We rent Sunday to Sunday (by the week only) in the summer or a 3-day minimum during other times of the year. Our house is located less than 1 mile from the Gaylord Country Club and 3 miles from Meijer. In 15 minutes, you can be at the base of Boyne Mountain! 10 minutes to Otsego Club; 15 minutes to Tree Tops. 45 mins-1 hour away from the Mackinac Island Ferry, Bay Harbor, Petoskey, Charlevoix and Traverse City areas. For(e) golf enthusiasts, we are located in the middle of what is known as "The Golf Mecca".
The views from the deck are Gorgeous. We LOVE Lake 27, otherwise known as the best kept secret in Northern Michigan! The warm, clear water and beautiful, sandy beach make great swimming for all ages. Your family can bring a boat or rent a boat in town and enjoy tubing, waterskiing and sunset cruises. Please enjoy using our 4 SUP's (Stand Up Paddleboards), 2 Kayaks, Canoe, Firepit, etc. The lake side patio has electric and is set up with lounge chairs, picnic table and grill. The large fire pit is great for star gazing, s'more making, and storytelling.
In the 112-acre lake you will find walleye, pike, bass, and sunfish. During the winter months enjoy snowmobiling, cross country skiing, sledding, ice-skating, hockey/broomball and snow shoeing (most equipment can be rented in downtown Gaylord).
The house is 2800 square feet and features 4 bedrooms (3 bedrooms and 1 bunkroom) and each bedroom has it's own bathroom. Great for spreading out the crew! Our newly renovated kitchen and new appliances along with a new gas grill make cooking a joy.
Wood burning fireplace in the living room, HD TV with Netflix available in living room. The lower-level rec room has a full bar area, TV, fridge, pool table/ping pong table, and ms.pac-man/galaga arcade game. Master bedroom and Main Floor bedroom have HD TV. There is an attached oversized two car garage and lots of parking on the side of the house.
This is the perfect home for making multi-generational memories in the summer or winter!

SUMMER: Swim, boat, fish, kayak, stand up paddle, trails for hiking, biking, grill, bon-fires, day trips, wine-tasting, rafting on the Sturgeon River...the list goes on and on.

WINTER: Snowmobile, Cross-country ski, sled, snowshoe, ice skate, build a fire, downhill ski at many nearby hills (Otsego Club, Treetops, Boyne Mountain, Nubs Nob, Shanty Creek).

GOLF: Known as the Golf Mecca, the Gaylord area has 17 championship courses nearby to challenge you. The Gaylord Country Club is next door and Treetops is incredible in the fall.
