Nice property - great host

This is a lovely property for a family holiday, spacious and well appointed. Great location for exploring the Lisbon area, with beaches a few minutes away and obviously great golf courses. Highly recommend. Of particular note Luis who manages the property was great providing good local information and easing the process of check-in/out.

Even better than we thought it would. Beautiful house and perfect for our group of 9. House is extremely well equipped. Luis is the perfect host, extremely friendly and helpful. Should we visit Portugal again, we would book one of the places Luis manages for sure.

This house was a dream. It has a perfect location with the most beautiful view!!! The house is very big with huge bedrooms and every room has their own bathroom. Its close to the city and the beach and only short ride to the south of Portugal . I definitely will be back !!!!

Perfect Holiday Stay

This was the perfect place for our vacation. Our group of nine were very comfortable in this spacious home. We were close to grocery stores and the ferry which we used daily. Luis was the perfect host. There was an issue with an upstairs shower and he had it fixed within an hour. Luis provided suggestions on where to visit and the easiest way to get there. We will book with Luis on our next visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This beautiful villa is immaculately presented, well stocked with essential equipment and many leisure activities also provided. A huge plus is the large number of bathrooms. We didn’t have a car but local stores, restaurants and the golf clubhouse are within walking distance and Uber is readily available for trips further afield. Luis is charming, helpful and easily contacted to answer any queries.

Family fun

The villa was ideal plenty of space for the 9 of us my partner and myself 2 of our sons and their spouses and 3 young grandchildren had a lovely time. We took the nearby ferry to Lisbon and traveled the trams around the town before having a lovely meal. Aldi and Lidl nearby. we highly recommend this villa fabulous view of the golf course but was very quite, we were slightly worried about being overlooked but the villa garden is slightly raised and we felt very private. The host Luis was very pleasant and extremely helpful.

Charming and Quiet Gem

We had a fantastic vacation. This house is in a well appointed neighborhood. Our group of 9 was able to spread out and come together as needed.Each room had its own access to a dedicated bathroom, offering privacy and solitude when needed especially when traveling in a larger group. The grocery stores were close by, the golf course was easily accessible, the beaches were within minutes, the restaurants were just a shirt distance near the front entrance of the neighborhood.Even though it sprinkled most days during our trip, we enjoyed sitting by the pool and chatting during sun breaks. Watching golfers focus on their swing became a morning routine as we sipped our coffee.We had multiple day trips to several parts of the region, going North and South to see amazing sites and enjoyed wonderful seafood fares. Each night we returned to cook a lovely family meal, as we stopped to pick up groceries on the way home from a long day of sight seeing.Highly recommend if your intent is to enjoy a relaxing family vacation. The house is easily accessible off a main vein of the highway. The serenity, and tranquility of the neighborhood is a welcoming end to a long day of exploring.

Wonderful family experience

Our family of 9 truly enjoyed this villa, both for its size, comfort and location. This is a 5 bedroom villa with 5 ensuite bathrooms, plus a den with a futon that became a double bed and a 6th bathroom across the hall. This gave all of us total privacy. The villa is well furnished, especially the kitchen with lots of dishes, cutlery, etc. and a full size fridge and freezer. The outside patio area is large with lots of seating and the pool, although unheated was lovely for swimming. The downstairs bar and games room were a source of many family nights of entertainment. The location is superb, backing on to a golf course but as the yard is raised still gives lots of privacy. 5 minute drive to Aldi’s which has all you could need for groceries, alcohol, etc. 10 minute drive to an amazing beach with restaurants and less then 30 minute drive to the Cacilhas ferry which has lots of parking (max 5Euros per day) and in 10 minutes you’re in Lisbon. Luis rounded out this amazing stay by being incredibly responsive. Lots of good tips (thanks again Luis for the suggestion of taking the Vasco de Gama bridge to the airport!) One morning a screw holding an upper hinge in a corner cupboard fell out preventing the cupboard from closing and within a very short time of being contacted Luis had it fixed. It was a fantastic trip for our entire family; we would definitely go back to this villa and highly recommend it!

Magnifique maison

Nous étions 3 familles et avons passé un magnifique séjour. La maison est superbe et très bien entretenue. Elle est suffisamment grande pour que chacun y trouve son espace. Relaxing holiday in style !

This Villa provides everything for a relaxing holiday with the family ! 5 en-suite bedrooms plus study/bedroom and family bathroom enabled us to have 11 sleeping without hassle . Large kitchen ,dining room and living room and outside logia gave lots of space for children and adults , plus the pool being very popular . The location on the 10th hole of Aroeira 1 golf course provides free entertainment watching the variety of golfing abilities . We had a hire car which made shopping trips easy ; the local shops are a 15 minute walk away but car is required for Lidl and Aldi as they are outside the Aroeira estate. Using Uber is very easy and the beach is a short Uber trip or a 30 minute walk . You just have to visit Lisbon during your stay and we found the best way was by driving to Cacilhas (20 mins) easy parking or order a Uber, then take the ferry to Lisbon ; it’s less than 2 euros per crossing and you arrive at the edge of the city . Back to the Villa and you will be met by Luis on arrival who is very helpful . We had a great time and even in August when we were there , the evenings were surprisingly cool as the Atlantic breeze arrived , so even as no air-con in the Villa , sleeping was no problem. We flew from Manchester to Lisbon and picked up the hire car at the airport. This was full of hassle and frustrating as delays caused stress ……… next time it’s the Portsmouth to Santander ferry with our own car which is cheaper and easier than fly/car hire !

A slice of Portuguese paradise!

This property was another VRBO home run for my family and me. The home itself is incredibly well appointed, with six large bedrooms, all of which have either an ensuite bathroom or one right next to it, and the master bedroom is massive, with a king size bed and a huge master bath. The neighborhood is an extremely high-end golf community with all conveniences and amenities, including grocery stores, drug stores, and restaurants, either within walking distance or a short drive. This holds true for the ocean front and beach, where visitors will find a large selection of very good restaurants and shopping. Finally, huge credit and thanks must be extended to the Property Manager Luis Dias, a perfect gentleman and extremely gracious host. This family trip was booked 2.5 years ago, originally scheduled for a June 2020 trip to Portugal. Luis worked with us throughout the pandemic for postponements of two consecutive years and never conveyed the tiniest sense of difficulty in allowing us to ultimately change our reservation to June 2022. We can't overstate our gratitude to Luis for working with us and insuring that we enjoyed these luxurious accommodations during our wonderful family vacation in Portugal. The property and neighborhood are everything the VRBO listing conveys, if not more. Thanks again Luis, and call me if you and your wife ever get to the Denver, CO area my friend!! Tom

Een geweldige (familie) villa. *****

Deze villa is mooi gelegen aan de Golfbaan met een prachtig uitzicht over de green het bos. Het nabij gelegen strand is heerlijk toefen. Het strand is te voet bereikbaar het pad er naar toe is een (bos)pad met hoogte verschillen maar goed te doen (20 min). Centrum van Lissabon goed te bereiken in 40 minuten met de auto. Tip: parkeer je auto in Cacilhas en neem de ferry naar het centrum van Lissabon. De omgeving is zeer de moeite waard. De villa is van alle gemakken voorzien, ruim en schoon. Heerlijk buiten met de familie ontbijten. Keuken ruim uitgerust. Buiten BBQ. Een heerlijk zwembad. Kamers ruim alleen met een eigen badkamer. Luis is een prettige Gastheer en voorziet je van alle informatie.. Communicatie verliep prettig. Kortom een aanrader

Stunning property and excellent service from property manager

The villa is in an excellent location 20mins walk to the local shops and restaurant and a 30 min walk to the beach (or 4 euro in an uber). The villas itself is excellent, we had 11 people staying and at no point did we feel cramped there was enough space if needed. The amenities in the house are excellent and is like being at home they have thought of everthing. The pool table and table tennis are a great addition and added to the evening entertainment. The property is well looked after. The property manager Luis was excellent and was on hand if anything was needed. As there was 11 of us we didn't not hire a car, this was not an issue as uber drivers are readily available and were excellent on every occasion it was definitely the best way to get to lisbon and back (cost between 38-48 euro) without needed to worry about the toll or parking. We even used Uber to go shopping (4 euro) and trips to the beach. The total cost was less than car hire without any hassle, this includes airport transfers. The only criticism I could make about the whole property is the pillows in the bedrooms need replacing with maybe some spares available this small change would make a huge difference if staying for a length of time.
