Second floor, located in one of the most characteristic and still authentic neighbourhoods of Venice, Castello, the flat can accommodate 6 people in three double beds in total comfort, perfect if you are involved in or simply interested in the Biennale exhibition, as it is located very close to both the Arsenale, which is right opposite, and the Giardini, about 400 metres away.

Amazing location, well appointed

The property was as described. It was very clean, well appointed, and the location was absolutely perfect! It's a 2 minute walk from a grocery store and a 5 minute walk to the vaporetto. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment was very quiet, even when there was a big festival going on outside. The fact that the apartment included a microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine was extremely helpful. The check in and out process were both very easy. For those with mobility issues, do be aware that this is a walk up. The stairs aren't too many, but they are narrow and a bit winding. My only complaint was that the air conditioner wasn't working properly during our stay, which coincided with an extreme heat wave. Both Mario and Paolo were responsive to our messages, but sadly they were unable to get it fixed while we were there. We opened windows and used the fans from the bedrooms. I am still giving 5 stars because a property owner can't control when things break or whether the repairman is free right away. We'd definitely stay again, but maybe in cooler weather.

The apartment was just as described. Very convenient to restaurants and water transportation. Mario was excellent in his communication! He gave very detailed information for a smooth and easy check in and arranged for a private water taxi pickup from the train station! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Venice!

Needs updating, tender loving care, better basics

We are a family of 5 who stayed for 4 nights. Pros: The location was wonderful. Away from the throngs of tourists and in a charming neighborhood with grocery store, shops, restaurants, bakeries, all nearby. Easy walk to water taxi and waterfront. Paolo (manager) was very helpful for the check in process and in arranging a water taxi to the airport. Cons: 2 of 3 bathrooms are very dated and super small. Updated bathroom has only a wand for a shower. The bath towels provided were rough. No basics such paper towels, tissues, napkins. The kitchen and appliances are dated. Biggest problem were the mosquitos in the apartment. We were bitten numerous times and had kept all windows closed. We were able to navigate 2 flights of narrow, winding stairs, but could be an issue for those less mobile. Giving an overall rating of 3 stars because it was Okay, not quite worthy of a Good rating.
